The food here was delicious! Service was great! Servers were friendly and attentive. Came here around lunch time and they were empty. Filled up pretty quickly after we arrived. The interior was clean. Easy parking. Decently priced.

This is my go to sushi spot. They have really fresh fish and my favorite, the cowgirl roll! We ended up trying the hot lips roll this time and it was delicious! Love the atmosphere, it's dark and vibey and good music. Been here a bunch of times and they never disappoint.

I love sushi brokers, I've come here a number of times of the years! They have great happy hour deals for sushi. I got the noodle wok bowl with tofu and shishito peppers last night and it was delicious! There's a small parking lot that always has space. The service is fast and easy and the atmosphere is warm.

Nice servers, had a table prepared for us and were on time for our reservation! My yakisoba noodles were okay. I anticipated more flavor from them. We also ran out of waters (they have water glasses on the tables for you to pour your own) and had to go fetch our waitress to ask for some refills. An absolutely horrible disruption and customer was in the corner, obviously very drunk, yapping his head off and cackling so loud. It made all of us so uncomfortable and a table even for up and left without finishing their food. The way the entire restaurant went silent as so to say "shush up, man. You're being annoying" but neither he nor his party got the hint. Lol. Goodness

First time here for pre concert dinner. Ordered spicy tuna, tempera shrimp, and crusty roll of something. Place was busy for a Tuesday happy hour. My favorite was the spicy tuna. Great service, clean and a great dining experience.I will be back!

My oh my. I live right nearby and used to frequent SB for a quick sushi fix. A year ago I dined in and had a terrible experience, and tonight I decided to get takeout and sadly - still bad. :( my only request was gluten free soy sauce (as I'm celiac and only order rolls w/o soy) and not only was the sushi quality lackluster but I got a pile of regular soy sauce. Just a bummer for a local Arcadia spot that used to be great to be is now super meh. Also waited 10 minutes for someone to take my card to pay for my food at the takeout counter...and they weren't busy. I'd recommend sushiholic over SB if you live in the area.

We LOVE Sushi Brokers!!!!! Sushi rolls are always really fresh and flavorful the Edamame was DELICIOUS!!!! Perfectly flavored the garlic and the spice was great on the Edamame. We,ve tried the Scottsdale location and now the Arcadia location and both are great!! Service is great!! The girls are super friendly and know the menu well and are open to giving recommendations. Our girl recommended our drinks and they were both DELICIOUS!! They offer great options in their Cocktail Menu. Restaurant was nice and clean, sushi bar looked pretty cool too. Oh and on a really random observation their bathrooms have the BEST paper towels in town!! Thank you Sushi Brokers WE LOVE YOU!!

They have a huge sake menu which is so awesome!! I loved the plum and apple sakes and of course their sushi is great. I got a Philly roll: salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber. Also the Hawaiian: spicy crab, yellowtail, cucumber and avocado then topped with salmon, mango, and scallions! Service is wonderful which is hard to come by in today's age. Great happy hour menu too.

I am visiting the Phoenix,AZ area. A friend suggested me to dine at Sushi Brokers. They told me this was their favorite spot and don't forget to make reservations. It was my 17th year wedding anniversary night. The appetizers of choice for the night were edamame and my favorite grilled shishito peppers. The grilled sweet spiced peppers pair with the edamame was superb. The bar keep was on fire! The top shelf CLASE AZUL was the smoothest tequila perfection and by far my favorite. To celebrate My husband enjoy his Mule Mexican. I perfered my sweet Saketini Lychee. I always try to pick a different chef specialty roll. I was shocked on the complexity of Surf and Turf Roll. Also, the Snow Crab (kani) was real not imitation crab and the flavor were mesmerizing. I could taste the ocean the crab was plucked out of. The sushi here is fresh! My go to sushi is Tuna (maguro), Yellowtail (hamachi). The chef's knife skills impressed my group. Our server Mel (Mellisa) suggested us to try her favorite roll which was the GUS hand-rolled. Since we had a group she suggested it be roll not a cone. She was kind, attentive and, knowledgeable. She was proud of being employed here for over 2 years and going. To top off the night the GreenTea Mochi Ice Cream was a delight.

Indian School Road is becoming the restaurant row of Phoenix! Sushi Brokers adds a new dimension to the already difficult decision of where to eat in Arcadia. This place is a solid choice... excellent service, excellent sushi, and excellent ambiance. I'm a little bias however as we are regulars at the Gilbert location. We went for happy hour when my brother was in town as he was staying in the area. What a happy hour! Great specials & loving this location led us over to eat. We just kept on ordering to try everything and each roll was better than the last! I also tried the noodles for the first time and it was delicious. The tuna sashimi was melt in our mouth delightful. If you are new to sushi, this is a great place to start because the servers are friendly, knowledgeable & patient. If you are a sushi veteran, you'll be impressed by the quality and quantity. As a regular, I will be voting for this place as Phoenix's best sushi & happy hour in the next round of competition! Go check them out either here or in Gilbert. You'll enjoy Sushi Brokers just as much as we do, I know it!

They knocked it out the park with this TOGO order. Thanks for fixing my craving tonight. I'll be back!

The lunch special is amazing... It really is the best in town. I get there before 3 and it really is more food than i can eat!!

Location beautiful, staff friendly & vibe immaculate. The oysters amazing! I did indulge all 6 they had on the menu to which my favorite were Misty Point, Va & Buck & Rider AK! Normally their lunch sandwich special comes with fries but you can sub it out for the 3 main sides of the day. Options were corn, mashed potatoes, or broccolini. I was craving asparagus or broccolini so it was perfect for me. The greens were lightly charred but crunchy and soft at the same time. Lunch portions of the sandwich also weren't massive. The sandwich had a white fish breaded and fried. The patty was decent without being thick or oily. Good amount of tartar sauce spread on it as well. If the sandwich was any bigger then work afterwards wouldn't have been fun. Oh, also got a delicious dirty martini to pair with the food. Gin served down and it was made to perfection! Including the drink and an $8 tip the total for lunch was $48. Which isn't horrible. Been craving oysters recently so probably will be back for dinner and get an appetizer and dessert too. Good service, fresh seafood, and clean restaurant. I'll be back!

Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

This location is a much nicer facility and in a better area than the one in Tolleson. The menu is consistent too, which made it easy for us to order our favorites. I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We determined by the expressions on their faces their parents probably told them since they graduated from high school they aren't going to sit around the house doing nothing all day so this must the the place they applied to.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.

So, after searching up and down, I stumbled upon Nelson's. I came by for an early lunch. This location is a very small place, really only big enough for a few fridges full of meats/fish, as well as the counter itself. I came in, and I took a little bit to decide what I wanted from the menu, and settled on a shrimp salad sandwich and a half pound of salmon poke. Before, during, and after the ordering process, I feel like the gentleman behind the counter was a little cold and not wanting to talk to me much. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him, so I felt bad about that. For that reason, I didn't really try to make conversation. I hope his day got better! I took the food togo, of course, and I ate the shrimp sandwich first. The seasoning was really great, and the salad was really well balanced. Mayo, onions, chives, cabbage: everything was well-represented and nothing was overbearingly seasoned. Yummy sandwich! The bread was a little drier than I would have liked, but very minor. It also came with Zapp's chips! Always a plus in my book. The poke? Delicious. I get the price. It's expensive, but it's the middle of a desert in 115 degree weather. Great representation of salmon poke, and super well seasoned with pacific island flavors that are certainly reminiscent of the stuff you'd get on the island!
