Popped in for Sunday morning happy hour. Such a treat! Decided to try the Ancala Seafood Tower so I could sample the tuna ponzu and seafood ceviche. I asked for light spice. It was so delicious! So fresh! The oysters were fabulous, I tried both the Baja and Asian style sauces. Neither wowed me, I think I would've loved the Asian if it weren't so ginger heavy and had more of a hint of sesame oil and soy sauce or Ponzo. There cocktail shrimp were jumbo and juicy. The tuna ponzu and ceviche were fresh though a bit bland for my taste. I appreciated a variety of sauces Oscar gave me to enjoy with it and added salt and lime juice. Next time I'd probably order the ahi poke as it was amazing when I was last here. The fresh warm bread they send out with your order is exquisite! Perfectly baked and fluffy! Oscar's service at the bar was fast and friendly. The nonalcoholic bubbly is divine! Very refreshing.

We went to Lure on Mother's Day and enjoyed crab cakes, clam chowder and miso glazed salmon. The food was good. The crab cakes were excellent. Our service was good. I don't love when the server tried to talk my son into ordering dessert. Also, the server hovered while we were paying. This is very awkward. I wish the machines weren't used that have people come to the table with the credit card machine. The restaurant itself is welcoming and has great decor.

Lure Fish House has some of the best quality fish in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you're at the ocean, with its modern but beachy-chic restaurant. The selection of oysters was small but great. Blue Points are some of my favorite and always a must order. My salad was so big. Definitely order the half portion because it was perfect. Sadly, they were out of sweet potato fries and crab ceviche starter, however, the swordfish, brussel sprouts and butternut squash were delicious. The wine selection was amazing and the French fries and Sauvignon blanc were the perfect pair to start my meal. As an East Coaster, it can be hard to find seafood in other parts of the country, especially Arizona. Lure raises the bar and sets the expectations high! Make sure to make a reservation and request booth, so you can be comfortable and cozy when enjoying your incredible meal!

Food is great, service is well, The restaurant's interior is also elegant. I love oysters shooters. Calamari is cooked well but soft, sauce is great match. I was full and can't order anymore, next time want to try another, my husband order crab salad, I taste little and asked to share more.

Came here for my dad's birthday since he loves ciopinno! He said it was delicious. Everything was perfect! Server went above and beyond making sure we had fresh bread and refills. We also had the Baja tacos and the double cheeseburger. Highly recommend this restaurant, bright, trendy and welcoming.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick lunch while vacationing in Scottsdale and were blown away. The restaurant is beautiful, very clean, with nautical but elegant decor. The oyster bar is stunning. A great place to sit for some oysters and drinks especially during their happy hour. The happy hour is an awesome deal. They have $10 cocktails, I recommend the Lure Martini which is made with fresh grapefruit juice. They also offer some happy hour bites including oysters and their $3 cup of clam chowder which you HAVE to try! The chowder is wonderfully comforting, chunky, and flavorful. I'm glad we stumbled upon this gem. The servers were very friendly extremely helpful when it came to selecting the right oysters. Come to Jersey, Lure Fish House, I'll be your very first guest! Thank you!

In town and once again Lure doesn't disappoint. Oysters and seafood Louie are a blast from the past. Josh and staff are friendly With a service first approach for a top shelf experience to match the ambiance.

Lure provides a beautiful atmosphere and quick service for an evening out. Food was good and cooked well, but nothing was a "wow" moment in terms of food Food reviews: Crab cakes--nice crispy crust with a herbaceous filling. Crab flavor got lost a bit, but corn and greens provided a refreshing, balancing bite Grilled Rockfish--cooked well, but missing flavor. Corn salad added to the fish when I combined it on top (I was surprised it was a cold salad!). Sautéed spinach was good and garlicky Sand dabs--my husband enjoyed and said it was very refreshing, almost like chicken piccata. Potato cake reminded me of mashed potatoes and was not crispy in texture like you'd expect from exterior. Cilantro rice was cooked well and had good flavor on its own.

Little late for my review! Visited Scottsdale to help my son move in. Wanted some seafood and had tried the Lure in SLO before. We both got variations on the halibut, and all were excellent... started with oysters, clams, and clam chowder. The chowder was fantastic- creamy but not crazy rich, lots of clams. The miso glazed halibut and butter, garlic, lemon and capers were really good. Service was friendly and efficient. Others in our party were equally happy with their meals. It was a very nice dinner!

Excellent, but I like a little extra dressing!

Whoever says you can't get good seafood in the desert has not tried Lure Fish House! Not only is their seafood fantastic, but I'd argue it's reasonably priced for the quality. The service was the best service I've had in months! Our waitress came at just the right intervals, had a wonderful personality and made sure we were taken care of. The seating inside is incredibly comfy and they have tons of booths to go around. Decor is modern, everything is clean and high end feeling. The waitress informed me that the kitchen had recently moved away from all seed oils - which for me is a huge bonus. I'd argue combined with the above mentioned attributes, I definitely plan to return in the near future! We shared the appetizer mussels, which were delicious. The real standout out were the charbroiled oysters. They're not incredibly huge, but their flavor more than makes up for it! I ordered the chef's salad which was very good. I think the only place for improvement would be a little extra dressing (I'll definitely ask for extra next time). The creamy clam chowder was perfect in every way and very filling. I definitely could not finish everything, especially after diving into the complimentary whipped butter and warm bread! Desserts looked delicious at the table next to us, but I had zero room left - maybe next time.

This place was one of the highlights of my trip. We stopped in around 345 for their happy hour in the bar. The red sangria blew me away! It was a great mix with yummy fruit juice and red wine. We opted for charbroiled oysters, The biscuits, some fresh shucked oysters, and ultimately the crab cakes. First the bad, which is pretty obviously the biscuits. They came to us burnt, and it really took a while for us to flag down at the bartender to let them know we didn't want them. They brought them up the second time and they were burnt again. We did swap to the crabcakes which were amazing in flavor! One of the best I've had and clearly didn't make it to the photo because we ate them so quickly! The fresh oysters were yummy, but I do think the mignonette that was served with them could be made a lot better. It needed a touch more vinegar because it had a flat taste. The charbroiled oysters were delicious! I do prefer a thinner Parmesan on top of mine rather than the large cheese pieces but nevertheless it was great! I do wish we would've got bread and butter like the tables around us but we end up, asking for some and received it. We had a great time catching up for the holidays and the restaurant wasn't too busy so it was perfect. I would definitely come back whenever I'm in town.

We got lucky and ended up at The Lure in Scottsdale for a last-minute Mother's Day dinner reservation, and I'm so glad we did. This was my second time here, and it absolutely lived up to my first experience. My mom has been here several times and already loved it, so we were happy to get so lucky. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the mussels, oysters, and crab cakes as appetizers and they were delicious. For our entrees we had the halibut and lobster ravioli. Honestly, not a single miss. The seafood tasted fresh, the portions were great, and every dish came out beautifully prepared. The lobster ravioli tasted especially fresh and comforting without feeling too heavy. Our server Joel made the experience even better! He gave thoughtful recommendations, was attentive without hovering, and genuinely helped make our dinner feel relaxed and memorable. The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for a family dinner. Definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to whenever we're in Scottsdale.

We were seated immediately after arriving and our waiter, Trevor, was right there to greet us. This was our first visit so Trevor took some time to talk about some menu items with us. We ordered and our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered crab cakes. They were the best I've ever had. They were crab meat, sauce in a panko crust. None of the mostly stuffing with some crab pieces thrown in. Delicious! They wet accompanied by the summer green beans and corn. This was served cold, like a salad with a light dressing and some shavings of Parmesan on top. Amazing! My wife doesn't like seafood, so she had a pasta dish. Buck & Rider was kind enough to replace the shrimp with chicken for her. We split a banana cream pie for dessert. Great graham cookie base, banana cream and then whipped cream on top. To top it off, we ordered a classic margarita on the side, which paired perfectly with the meal. I already need to go back just to try the other specials on the menu. The Ambiance & Service: We made a reservation ahead of time to be safe, and we were seated immediately upon arriving. We visited during the transition from winter to spring when the evening air was a bit chilly, but they had a heater placed perfectly near us to keep everything warm and comfortable. The service was top-tier our food arrived in a quick 12 to 15 minutes after ordering. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

This place feels like someone at the casino ran out of ideas--and space--and decided, "Sure, let's…read morecram a seafood restaurant into this random corner and call it a day." The result is a space so small and awkward it borders on absurd: a few tightly packed tables, a tiny circular bar, and just enough room to guarantee a wait time that feels wildly out of proportion to what's actually being offered. It's wedged at the end of a hallway off the casino floor, with all the ambiance of a service passage. Calling it a restaurant is generous; it's more like a seafood-themed afterthought. Honestly, it would make far more sense as a grab-and-go sandwich counter or coffee stand. As it is, it comes across as the fast-food version of seafood--minus the speed, convenience, or value. I was there with my 21-year-old daughter and we sat at the bar, which turned out to be a mistake. Instead of even the bare minimum of professionalism, the staff treated the space like their personal break room. We were subjected to loud singing, nonstop chatter, and unfiltered complaints about coworkers and management--all happening just a couple of feet away while we were trying to eat. It wasn't just distracting; it was genuinely uncomfortable. There's something uniquely off-putting about paying for a meal while being forced to listen to an impromptu staff gripe session. With so many legitimately good restaurants nearby, there's absolutely no reason to waste time--or money--here. It's the kind of place that makes you immediately regret not going literally anywhere else. I would have happily waited to dine at Orange Sky, where the setting and service actually match expectations. In hindsight, skipping this entirely wouldn't have just been the better option--it would have been the obvious one.

Sides including the whipped potatoes and Mac and cheese were also good. We also enjoyed the coconut cream pie with a birthday candle for dessert, but I will say for the price we paid for the entire meal, the dessert should have been comped for the birthday. The batter was seasoned well, and was complimented deliciously by the marinara served on the side. - Raviolo, spinach artichoke, crispy shallot butter sauce, cured yolk: our server suggested, though we both didn't particularly care for. We believe it was possibly the cured yolk that was off putting. It's a pass for next time, but we understand it was just not our flavor palate as it was executed well. - Rigatoni "alla Zozzona": A house speciality, so we had to order to try. My boyfriend chose this as his dish and I tried a few bites. Definitely a delicious dish, and he was very pleased with choosing this one. - Dry Aged New York Strip Steak: My choice and don't regret the $110 price tag one bit. This is the dish of ingredients sourced from the top kitchen if this was Next Level Chef. The demi-glace was decadent and rich. It paired beautifully with the steak, and loved the potato purée. Always see purées on Next Level Chef, and other cooking shows, so it was great to see one executed to this caliber. It truly complimented the dish and paired nicely with the roasted carrots and snap peas. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dish if you dine here. - Tiramisu: To end on a sweet note, we were intrigued by table side tiramisu as we've had at a different restaurant where they assembled it entirely at your table. This is just scooped from a tray, so the experience was a little disappointing. The flavor of the tiramisu was very coffee forward, so it was still a hit. - Complimentary Anniversary Gelato (Strawberry Shortcake): This came out with a sparkler and an adorned with a beautiful piece of chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary." Though both of us aren't fond of Strawberry Shortcake, we enjoyed the beauty of this dessert and appreciate the gesture. Shout out to Robert and the other staff who made our anniversary feel extra special. If this was Next Level Chef, they would earn the immunity pin! What a beautiful dining room, exceptional dining experience, and incredible service team. One of my top five dining experiences in the last decade - thank you! Our one year anniversary will be hard to top, so perhaps this will become our yearly spot.

I'd give this place zero stars for the food, but I'm giving it one star because the service was…read moregood and the ambiance was decent. The food was a major disappointment. The menu claims the pasta is house-made, but it tasted more like boxed pasta than anything freshly made. Worse, nearly every dish lacked flavor. Nothing stood out, and everything felt bland and forgettable. The gnocchi was especially strange, it had the texture and flavor of stale bread, making it one of the oddest gnocchi dishes I've ever eaten. Across the board, the food felt uninspired and poorly executed. Given that Richard Blais' name is attached to this restaurant, I expected much more. Based on this experience, it's hard to believe he had much involvement in developing the menu.
