Last night was my first trip to Sushi Camp, but it will not be my last! My family got the all you can eat dinner, and the hardest thing was deciding which of the many, many options to take. All were delicious, the ones marked "hot" were really just right. Fresh ingredients, no wait time to get in. I couldn't finish my selections- only 3 rolls, with seaweed salad, edamame beans and miso soup and a pot of green tea. Good thing my husband was willing to go the last mile, lol. Stumbled upon this location near the Woodbridge mall. The decor of this all you can eat sushi is unique and transports you to Japan. The staff were very attentive, despite it being packed on a Sunday night. Restrooms were clean and overall ambiance was nice. I gave it four stars because their all you can eat dinner menu does not include sashimi and they charge $.50 per piece. The pricing was $25.99 which is not too bad for AYCE. We had dinner at SushiCamp and it was a great value. The all-you-can-eat dinner is $25.99 for adults, with kids pricing from $8.99-$13.99. They also offer an all-you-can-eat lunch for $16.99. The restaurant itself is really nice, with beautiful Asian-inspired decor that gives it a cozy and welcoming feel. The hibachi shrimp, grilled vegetables, and fried rice were delicious with that classic hibachi flavor. The steak could've used a little more seasoning, overall the food was good, with plenty of small-portion appetizers, entrees, and specialty rolls to choose from. They also offer a small dessert selection, although the desserts were nothing too special. We have been wanting to try to come here and finally made it. No issues with parking and no issues with getting a table. Inside decoratoon was cute. We ordered the Beef Gyoza Dumpling and the Shrimp Shumai to start. Both were pretty good and came out quickly. We also ordered the Shrimp Noodles which is like Shrimp Lo Mein. This was alright and had more onions than I thought. It wasn't my favorite. We did also order some off the Sushi Menu and the Chef's special rolls. The Chef's special rolls were all very good. Overall, the quality is okay, service was good sometimes, but slow in other times, we had to place orders as soon as we saw the server since we didn't know when they would come back to put in an additional order. If Costco had a sushi section it would probably resemble Sushi Camp. The dining area has basic seating. All adult meals are 25.99 AYCE and are served piece meal to slow down the process of stuffing yourself. This is not something I will repeat as the sushi was average and extra small. I am soooooo glad we got this addition to Woodbridge! I am a huge sushi fan and as much as I love Al-carte sushi all you can eat is just so much better. Now the menu is nothing special is the same menu I have seen at other sushi all you can eat place in NoVa but everything we had tasted good for the most part price wise I was happy. The service was solid and no issues. And let me tell you about the ambiance, this is probably the best I have see for these all you can eat sushi place. Great addition to the Woodbridge food area. All you can eat Asian cuisine. The menu is vast with options ranging from traditional California rolls to chicken hibachi. The restaurant is spacious. Truly would have rated higher but the service was not that great. Our waitress was slow to approach and did not clear the table whatsoever. I've been to a few other restaurants similar to this in the DMV, and after you finish a dish it's routine for someone to clear the dish away to allow the space for more items ordered. New AYCE sushi spot! My 4 Star rating mostly stems from the quick service and affordable menu. If you're looking for high quality/amazing food then this is not it but if you want convenience and an overall good AYCE experience then definitely try it. Servers were nice and efficient! The rolls are actually decent and I was pleasantly surprised by the crab rangoons. Wasn't so crazy about the fried rice and steak kitchen entree, it was so chewy it was hard to eat. The cheesecake is more like a pound cake, the chocolate ice cream is the classic cup one from the grocery store, and the chocolate mouse was nice and light. Liked that the dessert portions were small because we were mega full by the end. I have been here twice since they have opened. It's very clean and the staff is friendly. It does get very busy. It's not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's decent. I do like the concept of the all you can eat and no food waste. I think that is pretty cool. I have a teenage son so he can pack it away. The crab Rangoon wontons are my absolute favorite I love that the wonton itself is not too thick. It's very thin and crispy. And I did enjoy the Hawaii roll I only eat cooked sushi so I can't speak for any of the other options I did try the shrimp, hibachi, and love the sauce that comes with it read more

I was prepared to leave a stellar review but that opinion changed once I got home and gave the take out order to my mother whom did not receive what I paid for. First I'll start with dinner in general... decent for an "all you can eat". Sushi Camp is the sister company to Sushi Ohayo, which we have frequented multiple times (Chantilly location). I will say the food at the Woodbridge Sushi Camp location is a bit tastier (hopefully no MSG was included... lol). The restaurant is pretty clean to include the exposed kitchen, prep/cooking area and the restrooms are decent. My mini and I walked in and we were seated right away in a booth which was lovely. There are multiple types of seating in the dining area. Ben was our server, he was personable, efficient and attentive. Issue: I wanted to order takeout for my mother, Ben told me that I had to order at the front desk. Layla completed the take order (great customer btw), I order chicken and shrimp hibachi to go. When the order was ready, Layla packed it up, handed it to me and my mini and I were out the door. Fast forward to unboxing, my mother opens the container to devour her meal... no shrimp! Now Layla had stapled the bag shut per Asian takeout customs so I never thought to look and check to make sure I received what I ordered. I called the restaurant to address my concern and the phone just rang and then the line disconnected. $19.80 for chicken and shrimp hibachi but we only received chicken... so if you order takeout from Sushi Camp, CHECK YOUR ORDER before you walk out the door! read more

You may see some serving are small but we do not mind as it will prevent wastage and it is easy to ask for more after. That way you can try other menu anyways too! New AYCE sushi place so we had to try it out! Every nice inside and servers are very attentive. There's a slight language barrier but for the most part, we can figure out what is being said. You order from the menu and it's made fresh to order. Everything was delicious and they had a great variety of options. The sushi tasted fresh and the fried tempura items had a nice light crispy batter. The hibachi IMO needed more seasoning but the hubby and son seemed to think it tasted fine. New AYCE place open in Woodbridge, the place is bright and clean with cute umbrellas on the ceiling for decoration. Service is nice and fast but the place wasn't crazy busy either. Food options are pretty much copy and paste from other AYCE sushi places in NOVA. However, the food was very mediocre at best. Beef Hibachi come with soggy blah noddles, on top of rice, the beef kinda powery texture and bland. Sushi rolls were lack flavors too.... Went for the lunch deal, around $16 is a good deal for the quality and amount of options there is to choose from. The special rolls were yummy, and the rice was soft. The other dishes weren't too special for us, tasted fine, but it's equivalent to any Chinese restaurant you'd find around the area, just probably prepared a lot cleaner and safer. It is not an ordinary buffet. Waitless taking your order on their tablet and starting to make the food then bringing it to you. You need to order the next dish in advance so you don't have to wait 5~15 min. with an empty dish until the next dish brings it to you. This is very inconvenient. They should order paper ready on the table so you can pick your dish and give it to the waitless before your dish is empty. The food quality and price is good, but fish on the top is very small and thin. It is 1/3 size of ordinary sushi. A few comments: Service was slow and really hard to order - mainly language barrier which I try to look past but the slow service and mixed up food order wasn't good. Apps - Kani salad and avocado salad were good. Crab Rangoon was good. Shrimp shumai was ok. Beef potstickers were ok. Sushi was ok - kinda like sushi you'd get a supermarket, honestly. Hibachi was good - steak quality wasn't bad and shrimp was good also. That was my favorite. Dessert - ice cream was little prepackaged cups (nasty, artificial, I'm used to actual ice cream machines) and the cheesecake wasn't cheesecake, it's pound cake. I took a small group to check out this new place which was replaced Cheeseburger Paradise located in front of Home Depot in Woodbridge at corner of Minnieville Rd and Smoketown Rd. There was plenty of parking. As you walk in, there's a statue of a samurai warrior wearing armor in front of the hostess stand, has decorative items on the walls, ceiling, very spacious with tables as well as booths. It is a AYCE and as you place your individual items, just remember what you order because it will be delivered to your table and called out by the food runner. The sushi which comes in forms of rolls, nigiri and sashimi. They also have other items such as tempura, hibachi, soups, salads, kids menu and desserts. All dishes are tapas style. You can order anything from the front and back menu for just $23.99. All the sushi items are on point and delicious. There were some items that stood out and it's a must get such as crazy monkey roll, chicken noodle (chicken lo mein); volcano roll, and Hawaiian roll. The service was impeccable, our server Sunny was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and all staff were friendly. I will definitely make another visit in the near future. So beware on holidays and also beware of the hours. They have a cut off time for lunch and dinner. The all you can eat deal was great value but the quality of the food has had a lasting effect on several of my friends me included. Many of us have had upset stomachs for a couple days, nothing violent and could just be from overindulgence. The decor was cute and the bathrooms were very clean. My husband and I ate there for dinner last night. We focused on nigiri and dynamite rolls. For one the fish is thinly sliced on rice so it's easier to get full on rice before the fish. If you want sashimi they want 50 cents more per fish. Crazy! Anyway, we were getting our orders fast until more people arrived and then it was a long wait. The biggest reason for giving one star is that the fish was room temperature and I got Scombroid food poisoning.
