I ordered through the restaurant's website - The ordering process was a bit clunkier than expected, but nothing overly absurd. The credit card processing system could be a bit better - For whatever reason, it decided it was going to disallow the use of one of my credit cards, even though it was valid and from the same issuing bank as the one that I ended up using for the order! No idea what went wrong there. The "billing address" section seems excessive and unnecessary. I ordered the Teriyaki Style Chicken, +$1 for fried rice. I ordered to-go, and the food was still of a good hot/warm temperature when I got 20 minutes away to my destination. Great packaging! What I got was a container of soup, a salad, fried rice, and my chicken teriyaki. Upon pick-up, even though it was the only to-go meal on the rack, I was asked to provide the order number, so I guess have that ready when you go in, even if you placed the order thru their own site and not DoorDash/UberEats. The soup was very good. I assume it was a miso soup - it had mushrooms and green onions. It was a nice light broth with plenty of flavor. The fried rice was a bit lacking on seasoning - particularly salt / soy flavor. Just kind of bland. But, it did stick nicely together and seemed to be quite freshly made. The only other added parts I could see in it were egg - No onions, no corn, no bean sprouts. Simple fried rice. I would have to say that the food I was craving and looking forward to the most was the thing that let me down the most. I have no idea what brand or kind of teriyaki sauce they are using on their chicken, but my god does it totally NOT fit the quality that should be present in their food. The first bite I got was riddled with just a straight weird chemically flavor that didn't fit at all with teriyaki chicken. You should expect teriyaki sauce to have a sweet and savory flavor with a salty tang from the soy sauce, a sweet honey flavor, and a rich glossy texture. This was not that! This was chemical, fake smoke, slightly peppery, very watery, and just all-around not a good taste for the seemingly-fresh chicken it was served upon. The chicken tasted great by itself, but then the spices and sauce just completely destroyed any good flavor that was there... Don't get me wrong, the taste wasn't bad to the point of being inedible, but it was very strange and not at all what was expected. Still a decent meal if you're looking for something non-traditional. I think I'll stick to other places.

Food is amazing and plentiful! Service is fast and good ambiance. I love that when someone is celebrating birthday they give free cake and play drums. Highly recommend!

I dined with two other people this evening. Our chef amused us when he used a spatula to make an egg roll on top of and then inside his chef's hat. The mushroom soup and the salad were good. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp and Lobster, which was too salty. I could barely taste the seafood. The same marinade was used for the Hibachi Filet Mignon that my dining companions ordered and felt was perfectly seasoned. So a low-sodium sauce is the better choice for hibachi seafood. My glass of water was cold and refreshing, and it washed all that sodium down. My lychee martini was a good bargain at $7. There is an automatic gratuity of 18% that is included on each check. A sign advising customers about this policy is posted on a column near the hibachi table. The restaurant is perfect for families and date night. I highly recommend.

Food and service was good...but the silly manager wouldn't take off an item I didn't want and never even touched! But It's cool will find me another sushi spot from now on. So be careful what you order these folks be acting different. Maybe it's the Supreme Court case got them feeling a certain way...but they won that! And thanks for charging me extra for cream cheese but didn't get it! I'm good on this place!!

Service was amazing, we sat at the bar and had Kaitlin (I think that was her name) - she was wonderful! We definitely ordered more than we could eat but the quality was good. My only critique would be that the extravagant decor when playing the sushi (though gorgeous) looked a bit stale (my sashimi dinner came with a beautiful design however in the lettuce I could see a tiny spider crawling). The food however was great and the drinks were delicious we'd definitely return again.

If you go, request Jason! All the hibachi chefs are great but he's the best! Will be returning soon 10/10

If you go request Jason! Experience was wonderful & food was great! 10/10 will be returning soon

A great hibachi restaurant in the Woodbridge area. This is the corner store in a line of stores situated on the corner of Potomac Mills Road and Gideon Drive. It may not look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the location. I would recommend reservations as this place can get busy. The decor is tastefully minimalist, enhancing the dining experience without distraction. It seems to have 3 different areas inside the restaurant: regular tables to the right, a bar in the middle, and a large area with many hibachi tables seating 8 people each for most of them. Our party checked in with the hostess and we were seated immediately on one side of the table. They seated another group across from us. We ordered drinks and dinners. The menu showcases a fusion of traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine, featuring expertly crafted sushi rolls, sashimi platters, and savory hot dishes like teriyaki and tempura. The food was cooked at our table with a chef who did a good job making it enjoyable and had large portions. The prices are a little bit higher with the prices for hibachi dinners ranging from $20 to $40 but the food and service were well worth it. . Overall, the restaurant offers a delightful blend of ambiance, cuisine, and community spirit, making it a must-visit destination for Japanese food enthusiasts in the area.

Do they have the grills open during weekend lunch for lunch and a show or seat Hibachi groups at tables and bring it from the kitchen?

Isn't this just a new name and new ownership I'm assuming of the last sushi/hibachi place that was already there before?

No, it is a whole new company. They are based out of Maryland and brought the old building and closed it for 6 months, while it went through a total remodel. Different owners and different business altogether.

The second time we came we were seated in a booth that I felt left us a bit neglected. There were 4 of us; 3 ordered steaks and all three ordered medium rare. They were cooked beyond that. My salmon was cooked exactly as it should be. The third steak was sent back as it was the wrong order. Because it took awhile to get it corrected, the birthday boy ended up eating his dinner alone as the rest of us completed our meals. To be fair, his steak was done correctly.

But Longhorn did not even have it as an option on their menu. Ok... So I decided to get if I can remember correctly a ribeye and some sides. The drink I tried was a dragon fruit margarita. Not what I expected but it will suit specific people looking for their offerings. Burton's Grill is your typical all American restaurant but focuses on serving all the dietary needs of Americans with allergies or not. The place looks new, the kind of place you wanna wear clean clothes at a minimum and not look slovenly. Outside sitting, full large bar, sports on several TVs above the center of the bar, and a lot of servers milling around here. Great lighting, not loud but not quiet either, just chill. We were starved so our eyes ate. Brunch was still being served till 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays so I grabbed the French Toast and the Steak and Eggs. My friend had allergies with gluten so she went with a salmon and some super salad dish. She was happy as all the dishes had markers for gluten free, food free, soul free, etc. Very helpful for all allergy infused humans. Great waitress btw. Fantastic service. Food came after some time, we requested for everything to come out on time. Steak and egg was okay but I'd go with the prime rib next time. The steak came out sliced with 2 poached eggs on top. The hash on the side was on point. Salmon okay too. Salad was okay but we should have added a protein on top. A little dry on dressing maybe but we could have requested more so that's on us. On the other hand, the French toast had me scratching my head. It was cubed challah bread but eggs was 0, zero, nada eggs on it. I thought I was eating croutons which would have gone great with the super salad dish thinking about it now. The French toast really bunched up my undies, French toast is my favorite breakfast thing you see. They explained it was prepped that way for allergy sake due to the egg. Well, I'm not allergic and never said I was, but my friend was but she wasn't eating my dish so why make it in this fashion. Overall, this experience was just okay. Nice environment and service but I realized how lucky I am not to be allergic cause if I have to eat French toast like this forever, I'm not sure what to do. Definitely not up to eating croutons with syrup.
