Korean-Style Ramen w Bulgogi
N.J. R.

Rating based on food court cuisine. The ramen noodles looked like the type you get in the packets at the grocery store and they were a tad undercooked. Beside that it was good. Plenty of flavor which surprised me and they didn't skimp on the bulgogi. The service was decent and it took a while to prepare and I have the feeling it was "freshly" made CC save came out piping hot. I would try it again if I'm in the mall.

Doordash delivery...the Sweet Catch Bowl. See how it's a mess

So yes I did not know a mall food court spot would be this good! But I tell you I was very surprised when I prefer off of Doordash because I was wanting some ramen. Yeah I know I could have went to the old trusty ramen we all have a pack of two in the pantry. But I wanted something more authentic and rich with flavor. So I ordered the Korean style ramen extra noodles and decided to try this sweet catch bowl. Doordash delivered but must have dropped my bag because the bowl was all smashed together and leaking out the bag. Other than that the food was very tasty. Now it coming from the food court I had to stop by today to fool inside because I wanted that bowl again. The worker who made my bowl was nice, attentive, and fast. I added some green onions to the mix and extra crispy garlic. I love me some garlic kind of wish he could have given me a little bit more. Only complaint I would have is you get a lot of rice but the protein raw salmon and tuna is a very small portion. Probably would have to pay extra for additional portions. But for $12 it's definitely worth it because it's a great way to eat a little bit healthier and get full. Next time I will do the brown rice instead of all white to get a little added fiber. But it's a win win in my opinion!

The Vine

Food Court fast food, didn't expect much. 2*Korean style Ramen with bulgogi: probably opened a bag of fast noodle package and added some hot water and meat 2*The Vine: tofu salad, the portion was very small, not enough for a filling meal. Taste was ordinary.

Beef bulgogi "The Seoul Bowl"
Douglas S.

Good size portion. Price is like $12 something. Food is pretty good. Not the best, but maybe 7/10. I would def come back and try the chicken. Which looked very good, but I was told that the beef bulgogi was the popular option.

Ramen

I love Ramen, but this place here, 10 out of 10. The perfect level of ingredients and spice. The service was fast, and the cashier was super nice.

Bowls are stuffed, hot, and delicious. Can her 3 timr after the mall shut down and each time the employees are helpful, kind, and welcoming. I pair my bowls with their drink shop KokeeTea down by TJMaxx, the best lunch for the price.

I tried the Seoul Bowl as described; actually, I asked for a few more shakes of garlic. It was tasty! The trend to scoop the meat without "juice/gravy" if you want some more flavor ask for it. You may have to speak up through your mask. The poached eggs are not runny. You may need to request one that has not been lounging in warm water. The yolk was firm. My niece customized her bowl. I didn't get a picture, but she reported the chicken was delicious. My son tried the Golden morning bowl, and the same as my niece, I was unable to secure a picture before the devastation.

Pokërea at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge is a great place to go for all things quality bowls, ramen, and much more. I really like the selection that they have available here and have been happy with all of my orders.

I was able to order lunch through work and I was craving poke. I wanted to like this so bad but it was just not good. My poke bowl was drenched with so much sauce I couldn't even eat it. The cilantro tasted gross and I love cilantro. The dumplings were okay.

Great food & service! A quick quality authentic meal!

Great food & service! Quick quality authentic food! Stumbled across this place at the food court & it was just what I was looking for. Ingredients were fresh & it's a good way to get quality food fast. A better option than getting fast food.

Fuse Box's approach to Asian fusion is a little different compared to other fusion restaurants ;…read moreThey've carefully selected some of the most popular items and stuck them into one place: Most Asian fusion eateries usually blend two cultures within a dish, with one culture being more prominent and another culture being used to enhance the flavors. With FB, you're fortunate to explore a sampling of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese dishes respectively. The DIFFERENCE from most Asian fusion places is that each dish is a cultural stand alone. For example, if you order Kim Chee fried rice, you'll get a Kim Chee fried rice that you'd get at a Korean restaurant. Fried pork chops? Classic Vietnamese flavors. Their presentation may be a little different, but it is the flavors you'd get at a Vietnamese restaurant. Don't be intimated by the chili next to the menu items...it can be adjusted for the non-spicy friends joining you. The besties said they found a restaurant right down the road from where we live. We were there on a Sunday at 11am. It was fairly empty, but I heard it gets quite busy and I can understand why. They also have a bar so they serve drinks there.

We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future.

I also picked up a shirt love. Dumplings filled and tasty. The miso soup was your standard fair. It did not have any tofu in it so that was a disappointment. I would definitely return to try their breakfast options.
