I love Sushi Jin, they have the best ramen in Woodbridge. Its a small spot tucked into the shopping center.Everyone is super nice and helpful with recommendations. The drink selection is limited but they have a lot of sushi and other items to choose from.I always get the spicy ramen and green tea. The easiest $20 I'll ever spend

A convenient stop, while shopping, Sushi Jin is right in Stonebridge and has some nice sushi. A typical Japanese food menu, which most dishes are executed well. I enjoy the bowls, soups, and sushi; but some starters left me wanting. The service is lovely and it is a well laid out, small sushi spot. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but when I'm in the area, I'd grab a quick bite.

In the Stonebridge shopping center so some street parking and parking lots around. It's pretty quiet here. We came in here a little later than intended and we wanted to order and be done before the closed so I understand the server beeing a little more apprehensive. We asked if it was okay to eat in and they said yes and sat us. While I first server seemed unhappy to be there, another server ended up being very nice and was helpful foe the rest of the service. We ordered the Spicy Jin Ramen, the Russian Roulette Roll, the Shinjuku Murderer Roll, the Osaka Street Roll, The Crispy Shrimp vs Sweet Crab Roll, and the Memory of Geisha Roll. Everything was really good, I really enjoyed The Crispy Shrimp vs Sweet Crab Roll. The Shinjuku Murderer had a great kick to it. Russian Roulette was fun. Overall the food is pretty decent and service isn't bad but haven't had a bad experience with the food!

The ramen was not very good and had a bland taste. The sushi was okay, but nothing special. Service could definitely be improved, as it wasn't very attentive. Overall, an average experience.

My partner and I come here pretty often. The sushi is always good and service is generally fast. They are definitely busy during peak lunch and dinner times so ambiance can sometimes be a little louder since it's a relatively small space. Miso soup is a must have for me and theirs never disappoints!! Also received a complimentary tea bag to go since I had ordered the jasmine tea which I really liked so our server offered me one.

Sushi Jin, you know exactly what I want. Now, bear in mind this is affordable sushi and ramen, but even that has to be done with a level of consideration and they delivered. I'm not looking for anything ground breaking but what I am looking for is does the description adequately match the food, proportion, and portions. Sushi Jin keeps their rice ratio low, which is good because I hate it when sushi is affordable because they bulk it up with rice. It was well seasoned too, even a basic roll has sesame seeds so theres a variety of texture and flavor even for a simple roll! Not all of the attention was on the fish (which was fresh) which is appreciated! Ramen was kind of an impulse order but I'm glad I did because it lasted me 3 meals. The portions were huge and the meat was very generous. Where you might expect a fatty pork belly style char shu is braised pork, which I appreciate because it keeps the overall eating experience light yet still filling. This was a mobile order, so sushi is always a hit or miss but this was a hit. I think its a simple menu but its exactly what you want in a late night craving!

I've avoided going to sushi restaurants since I don't eat fish, and when I have gone in the past I'm the one ordering chicken teriyaki. But my friend recommended Sushi Jin for lunch one day and introduced me to vegetable sushi. And now I'm a huge fan! The sweet potato business and fried kimchi roll with a side of steamed or grilled edamame has become my "go to" meal. The hours are a little odd so I've had to leave some sushi cravings unsatisfied because they were closed, but I really like this place. I usually order items for pick up, but the restaurant is really nice and cozy.

We met a friend and her daughter for lunch right when Sushi Jin opened at noon. We already had a table waiting for us. I think my friend called ahead. Staff came to serve and wait on us immediately. They were attentive and friendly as well as able to answer all of our questions about the menu. The first thing I noticed was that the floor was slippery. My shoes were slipping and sliding on the floor, but we didn't have to walk far into the restaurant. We sat with our backs to the rest of restaurant and faced the door so I could not appreciate the decor of the restaurant. However, my friend and her daughter commented on the anime figurines on the shelves behind us. So the food was delicious - the chicken teriyaki skewer was perfect. The teriyaki sauce was sweet, but not too sweet. One of the servers brought us an extra cup of teriyaki just in case we needed it. Once we tore into the pieces of chicken, we dipped the chicken into the extra sauce! Perfect!! My daughter reported that the gyoza was amazing! She always tries gyoza any place we go that offers it. We all tried the different sushi pieces. The California roll was as expected. Nothing was a surprise there. The shrimp tempura roll was also good - no surprises. The Boston Roll was good and nothing we'd had before. Shrimp tempura rolls are usually a favorite of mine, so I did wish the Boston roll had tempura shrimp in it instead. I did not try the white tail tuna, as I do not choose raw sushi. Husband and friend said it was good, but the avocado piece in it was too big causing the texture to be mushy. Overall, the sushi we choose was a great combination. We will make it a point to come back again - probably before a trip to Wegman's since it's so close!

The food was delicious! Fire mussels were amazing and the Philly rolls were surprisingly our favorite sushi rolls that we had tonight. The other rolls, Lobster Lasanga, were great too. We also ate their shrimp dumplings with the sauce that comes with it, another amazing dish. Great food, good vibes with the music, great service.

Variety of sushi rolls, standard sushi and nigiri style.

Any news on the Alexandria location opening?

Does anyone know if they have sushi on a boat? I saw one picture of Titanic sushi but don't see it on the menu. If so, what's the price? Thanks!

Yea they have sushi boats: titanic and santa maria. I saw it on the back of their dinner menu. Titanic is around $60, I think.

It was noticeably quieter, with no music, and lacked the energy and ambiance that seemed to be present elsewhere in the restaurant. Our server, Maddy, did a great job managing a large party of around 15 people. While we did have to remind her about a few condiments that were forgotten, that's understandable given the size of our group and the fact that she appeared to be handling a lot on her own. Throughout the evening, she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. As for the food, I was starving and decided to stick with appetizers. I ordered the fried pickles, hush puppies, and chicken wings. The chicken wings were the standout of the meal. They were fried hard just the way I like them, and the spicy honey garlic sauce was the perfect compliment sweet, spicy, and packed with flavor. The hush puppies were decent, but the accompanying "whipped cinnamon honey butter" missed the mark for me. It was overwhelmingly sweet and lacked the rich, buttery flavor I expected. It was also brown and not the buttery yellow of whipped butter I was expecting. Instead of tasting like a butter spread, it tasted more like straight sugar, which didn't pair well with the hush puppies in my opinion. Unfortunately, the fried pickles were a major disappointment. As someone who absolutely loves fried pickles, these were probably the least enjoyable I've ever had. The restaurant uses pickle spears rather than the traditional pickle chips, and the batter didn't adhere well to the pickle. Most of it fell off after the first bite, leaving me essentially eating a warm pickle spear. I think cutting the spears into bite-sized pieces and ensuring they're thoroughly dried before battering would greatly improve both the texture and crunch. They simply lacked the crispy, flavorful bite I was hoping for. One bright spot beyond the wings was my Moscow Mule. It was delicious, strong, and reasonably priced. Overall, if I return, it will likely be during happy hour to enjoy the bar area or the outdoor patio with a Moscow Mule and an order of those wings. While there were some misses, there were enough positives to make me willing to give The Harbour Grill another try.

Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more I love Belgian beer, and Cock and Bowl is my favorite place to nab some of this great nectar. This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.
