She is argumentative, condescending, and will lie and put words in your mouth to make herself look like the victim when you make a legitimate complaint. Staff is always nice except the Manager "olga". She messed with the wrong person when they treated my wife and me like garbage. As a business owner on the same street as them and a loyal customer for years I will never step foot in there and will not be referring you guys to any of my clients when they ask about a reasonable sushi spot. So disappointed!! Use to come here all the time too. They have coupons all the time we receive in the mail through Valpak that we use almost every time which are awesome. However, I forgot my coupon today but I did have the Valpak online coupon that you "present to cashier." The manager refused to accept it even though he knows we come all the time. We live just 5 blocks down the road and didn't wanna walk home we told him. He just said that he meant to take it off online and can't honor it. My brother and I wanted to get away from all the tourist restaurants located on Lincoln and we ran across the yelp reviews for this place. The sushi was fresh and the service was quick. This is not mind blowing sushi, but it is what it is. It is chain sushi that is (in my experience so far) decently rolled and nicely priced. Aside from their vegetable roll, which tastes a little wilted and is a bit large to enjoy in one neat bite. However, I do not like their items that are not rolls. Their rice bowls and dinners are quite unpleasant and resemble cafeteria food. Chicken Katsu Don is either too dry or too soggy, with breading that flakes apart easily. Gyu Don (beef) tastes like stringy dog food which had been boiled till it lost most of its flavor. If you go, stick to the rolls! They have some tasty and creative ones for an inexpensive chain restaurant. read more

Rainbow Roll for $7? Hamachi and Salmon nigiri (6 pieces) for $7? In Sobe this is a fantastic deal. Most places around here will charge $2 or more for each single piece of hamachi. I ordered delivery past midnight and the sushi was very fresh. Not just fresh for a sushi dive with rock bottom prices, but legit high-quality fresh. This is a great place for a cheap quick lunch. I used to go here all the time when I worked in the area. It is super inexpensive and generally pretty good. It's certainly not stellar sushi...but it certainly satisfies that lunchtime sushi craving. You might want to order a few things because the serving sizes are pretty small...but for the prices it's kind of what you would expect. I like swinging in here whenever I go to the beach to get some sushi without having to break the bank. Give Hiros a shot next time you need a quick sushi fix. read more

I really like this place. I've never been inside yet, I always order takeout as I work down the street from them. The delivery is always fast, of course I am close so it shouldn't take long anyways. The sushi here is cheap, but not cheap as in 'use the grossest cheapest fish possible' cheap, cheap as in good quality but not crazy priced. Found this spot on yelp and it was in walking distance from my hotel while I was on vacation in South Beach. It's pretty basic and a quick meal. The rolls are heavy on the rice and it's regular white rice, not sushi rice. My sister and I had two shrimp tempura roll, caliente roll (wasn't hot at all), cheese wonton (good), wings (good, plain, came with hot sauce on the side), and rock shrimp (very good), and side of white rice. We had a lot left over. Price was around $40 for everything. I also had a Corona beer during happy hour ($2.50). I recommend if you are not a sushi snob and want a quick meal to eat in or take out. Here's the deal people. This is by no means a great Sushi house. If you want the best, go to Nobu. This is a fast food, sushi concept. On that merit, this beats picking up sushi that has been sitting in your grocer's counter all day. The worst sushi ever! I wonder if people who rated this place with 4 or 5 starts have ever tried good, delicious sushi. I know, there's nothing to expect from a cheapy-fast-sushi, but they at least could've made the same rolls as they printed on their menu pictures. The menu is colorful and shows more or less beautiful rolls fully covered with masago, but what you'll get from these guys? Rice cubes with a tiny piece of something that looks like a fish with 5-10 berries of masago on the top of this cube. Generalizing, you'll receive just rice! As a matter of fact, they have mixed up my order and I brought me wrong sashimi with you know what? Crab imitation meat! Show these to Japanese, they'll laugh!
