I have no idea how this place does not have an overall 5 star rating. While traveling in Miami we were looking for a sushi lunch place since most of the hotel sushi restaurants didn't open until dinner. This place was the BEST find! The fish was so fresh especially the salmon. Even the avocado was insanely fresh too! We placed our ordered and were literally shocked with the prices. The sushi was so cheap and the rolls were packed with fish. For a don bowl, a California roll, a sushi appetizer, specialty roll, and soda and my bill was $28!!!! I have never seen prices so cheap for sushi! The rainbow don was probably the best thing I've ever had. It was a bowl of rice with fresh fish and avocado on top. It was delicious. The service was also super fast for how much we ordered ! I wish I could come back to this place every day and try everything on the menu it was so good! read more

Quality: while cheaply priced sushi can often be questionable or made with cheap ingredients, the quality of the ingredients used here is wonderful. Everything is always extremely fresh. Price: I mean you just can't beat $5 rolls! At many other sushi places in the area, a single roll will cost you upwards of $20, while here you can get 3+ rolls for less than $20! It's such a small little place, we almost walked past it. Between two of us, we ordered the dish with 6 pieces of salmon nigiri, a salmon don, takoyaki and shrimp yaki udon. For all that, we spent under $35! The noodles were delish, I really liked the flavors. The sushi was fresh. The takoyaki was the only thing I wasn't too impressed with. The sushi bowl had a huge amount of sushi rice underneath, but for only $8~ and a wide selection of fish, I had no complaints. Yesterday I made a pick up order from this place and went straight home after picking the closed bags. My husband LOST his TOOTH because there was a ROCK inside the Chicken Teriyaki Box! He is in a lot of pain now because of that! I called the restriction and talked to OLGA the person who says is the manager and she said that there was NOTHING she could do and said it was impossible that could have happened. What? I am lying? I have gone to Hiro's now a few times with the boyfriend. Prices are affordable, food is plentiful, but honestly what I think is the best part about this place is the customer service. Then again, I am extremely grateful that one of the girls working there kept me company when I got sick last Saturday night, while boyfriend went to get the car. She was a doll, honestly, and I wish I had gotten her name. Customer service aside, the place is somewhat small, but there are plenty of chairs inside and out. They sell a variety of items from sushi to Thai dishes for non-fish eaters like me. I usually get the miso soup, which is always surprising to me as it's in a sterofoam cup, as well as fried gyoza. Meanwhile, boyfriend loves the takoyaki there. Hence when in Miami Beach, we're open to paying a visit to Hiro's. Oh and for those playing Pokémon Go, the amount of PokéStops here is insane. read more

After looking forever through reviews for quality sushi at a good price my girlfriend and I decided to come here. You order at the counter and then can sit wherever you want. A friendly busboy gave us water and then brought out our food after about only 5 minutes from ordering. We got california rolls, salmon california roll, shrimp tempura, dragon roll and a spider roll. The california roll was very generic but the rest were great. We liked the shrimp tempura the best. Despite the very casual atmoshpere, our experience was great.
