Respectable conveyor-belt sushi, but still conveyor-belt sushi. I've actually eaten at Sushi Hana five or six times, and every time was consistently good. Not great, but good. They can be packed out the door with people waiting for a table, and the traffic on the facing street is a /nightmare/; despite those drawbacks, if we're in the area we'll eat here. The decor and cleanliness are tolerable, nothing spectacular there. The service doesn't go above and beyond (the conveyor belts should be a clue), but they're always incredibly friendly even when the restaurant is packed with people. But the consistency of the sushi and the ramen win my praise. A big plus, you can ask for items you don't see traveling the belt. Sometimes, if it's not crazy busy, they'll make special requests. All in all, if you're not too snobby about your sushi, then this place is awesome. Friendly service, lower prices, and the ability to ask for special orders combine to push this from a tepid 3-star to a solid 4-star sushi experience. read more

Having been coming here lately for sushi instead of the usual sushi land and is now my favorite conveyor belt sushi! Never had a problem finding parking or a seat! One thing though is that when it gets busy, it never seems like they have enough servers. So to order or to even get your check, you have to go hunt them down. Obviously, if you're coming here, you're probably coming for the sushi. They have a huge variety of sushi and rolls. I rarely ever grab rolls as I always grab Nigiri. I always grab salmon or the seared salmon with garlic. The salmon seems to be more fresh compared to competitors but the seared salmon is to die for! It does take longer to get but so worth it! They do have sushi rolls based on the 4 elements of avatar! Will have to try each one one day~ Besides sushi, the only other thing I have tasted is their calamari. Their calamari is probably one of the best I have ever had! The thing stopping them from the 5 star is the price. For a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, I do feel that they are overpriced. Probably twice the price as their competitors! Even after eating 20 dollars worth of sushi, which would be way more than I need at other restaurants, I am still not full! That's a problem! They are good though but considering the price, I can't come here too often. read more

The two things that I wanted here didn't seem to be on the belt, but I didn't have any problem ordering them. The dragon roll was delicious; I really liked the eel sauce. And the clear flavors of the Washington roll (crab salad, cucumber, seared salmon, green onion, spicy sauce and sweet sauce) were the perfect counterpoint to the richness of the dragon roll. Not the best sushi, but it's the best Sushi Ring around the area. The pricing is adequate however the portions do make up for the pricier plates. The waitresses and waiters are always on top of orders and serving, plus they're really kind. They have a great variety of sushi from the raw to the cooked stuff. Hands down the worst sushi place I have ever been. The sushi was poorly made, the conveyer belt was empty, and it was overpriced for the quality of the food. My boyfriend got katsu, one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, and they brought out a bed of rice with a few tiny pieces of chicken. The experience, as a whole, was extremely disappointing. I came in today with my son and we were waiting for the other 2 in our party. There was one booth left and they wouldn't seat us because the rest of the party wasn't there even though I insisted that she had just pulled in. I even saw her unloading her baby into a front carrier and pointed her out. They ended up putting a different group, who walked in after us, into the last booth. Sushi Hana is awesome! My fiance and I were really excited about the opening of a sushi place just down the street from us and could not wait to try it. We came on opening day and were greeted by all the staff. They were all very friendly and we felt very welcomed. This is a conveyer style sushi place, which means you pay per plate of sushi. The plates here are so affordable, starting at $1 plates and the highest plate is $2.50! Most of the sushi I like tends to be on the $1.50-2 plates, but it's great because you can eat many kinds of sushi and leave without spending a fortune on it. It cost around $25 for my fiance and I to eat a ton of delicious food here. That included his $2 soda, which was a little pricey in my opinion. I will continue to come to Sushi Hana because it's close and they have really great sushi. One of the best parts of Sushi Hana is that they will make something if you ask and it's not out on the conveyer at the time. The chef's there are always friendly and will ask if there is anything you're looking for or that you'd like to have made. read more

They are AWWWWWESOME! Just as good, as Bluc C and SO much cheaper. I just like things that come to me on conveyer belts that I can pick up on a whim. Even though this is still my favorite sushi place I can now see how their customer service is going downhill. There are some employees that are consistently great, smiley, friendly and attentive. Big thanks to them! But some come across ignorant and a little rude at times. Unfortunately the store manager is the same way. My first place to try Sushi (ever!) and boy I loved it. Conveyor-belt style sushi is really exciting. Service is very friendly, you can order anything you don't see on the conveyor-belt to the staff and they will have it ready ASAP. Great place for team lunches too, considering I work in this area this is a quick and easy stop to get a filling of yummy sushi! Not too pricey and even family/kids friendly. read more

Decent conveyor sushi at a reasonable price. Often has fresh fruit on the belt, which is a nice touch. It's small, with no ambiance, and it can take a while to be seated. In other words, a good choice for weeknights when you don't want to cook, but you won't bring a date or out of town family here. If you have small children that need to sit in a high chair, the counter and the booths are too high for the high chairs they have. read more

The sushi here is decent enough, but the service is pretty much terrible. There's a sign that says booth seating is available for parties of 3 or more on the weekend and fridays, but despite going on a Tuesday, my girlfriend and I were told we couldn't sit there. It isn't the worst thing in the world, but having the server literally tell us that we could just leave was insulting. We were considering staying at the bar, but after being told we could just leave for requesting booth seating is so horrendously off-putting. We've been there plenty of times in the past, and we've never had a problem sitting at the bar in the past, but this was our 18-month anniversary dinner, and we specifically came in on a Tuesday so that it wouldn't be an issue to sit at a booth. Plus, there were 4 or 5 open booths that we could just directly see. And the waiter was unbelievably rude, man, you shouldn't directly tell your customers to "just leave." Wife and I went to this place today when we saw that they had opened. This is a sushi belt place very much like Sushi land. The prices were comparable to Sushi land as well and the food quality was excellent. The staff was very attentive and quickly brought us our drinks and miso soups. The place is bright and very clean. The sushi menus are clearly labeled and easy to see what type of sushi is on the belt. We tried a couple of different things, like salmon, red snapper, spider roll, seared salmon. All were fresh and good. We also tried some calamari, which were very crispy and delicious. We also tried their poke tuna. Although it's different from the Poke we're used to, it was still quite tasty and worth trying out. We didn't try any other hot food other than the miso soup. The miso soup was one of the best miso soups I've had at a belt sushi place. The seaweed and tofu are generously placed and the miso paste to water ratio is well done, not too watered down, and not too concentrated. Overall, a great place and we're really happy that there is a good sushi belt so close to our house. We'll be coming back more often for sure. read more

The wait staff continuously check on you to make sure you have everything you need. We ordered many items off the menu and it was made very quickly and delivered right to our table. I have been here a couple times and it is not good. I stopped on 8/12/15 in the afternoon, it was fairly full, but no selections on the conveyor, and I saw some oxidized avacado on a few items, so that tells me they have been going around for a while. I ordered some items, only got one within 15 minutes of ordering. They have an automatic nigiri sushi maker, and the salmon was pre-packaged and cut. Even when people ordered from the "chef", they would just take it off the conveyor if it was there, they would not make a fresh one. I will not be returning, Fred Meyer has better. read more

It's exciting when you come across a conveyer belt sushi restaurant that's actually better than decent! Typically you would expect none to mediocre service and fair food, but this place was definitely different. First of all right when you walk in, it's noticeably clean. The servers and cooks were nice and very responsive. Usually at places like these, if you put in an order, you're most likely going to have to wait forever or you're just straight up not going to get everything you ordered. When we came, we placed all of our orders for sushi at once and received all of them in a timely manner. Not only was the service consistent, the food was all very fresh. My favourite is the Garlic Lover roll and seared salmon oh my goodness, it's amazing I swear. We also got calamari which is a big hit or miss at most places. I was scared it was going to be stale but nope! Super crunchy and the serving size was bigger than most places. This place is relatively more pricey than most conveyor belt sushis. The range is from $1.45 to $3.65 for main dishes, and the you have the special udon that are $6-7. This is a great place for lunch, I'd highly recommend. read more

They always have customers here which is good since the sushi doesn't spin on the conveyor belt for hours like other places. I used to be a regular customer to this place. For the price and options, I came back for more. But tonight was the worst experience ever and by far the pathetic service I've ever received. And its not like we order for some chump change. The people working there were very disrespectful to us. Not serving water or chopsticks or napkins for good 10 minutes whereas we had already picked food from the belt. We had to stop and ask after we couldn't wait. We ordered 5-8 items and none showed up. We could clearly see them making it but they didn't bother to give it to us. They would just put it on belt and someone would already pick before it reached out to us. Not once did somebody stop by to ask us. I wanted to speak to the manager but some server apologized for the incident. I'd like to warn people if they do wanna go there, stick with food from belt instead of ordering. read more

But the squid was what I kept re-ordering in the past 3 times I was here although they have a great udon selection too. I love this place for my family. Our four year old loves the plates going by and for her (in her opinion since she's not quite to sushi yet) is the fresh fruit options. They were closing in about 45min when we got there and so we just got to order exactly what we wanted. We have been coming to this restaurant for almost 5 years. Up until the past few visits we have enjoyed coming here. The last couple if visits have been different. When we come in we prefer a booth. We eat fast and are quickly gone. There are other health reasons that sitting at the bar is not an option for us. We were told both times that since the size of our party was only 2 that the booths were not available for us. Even after mentioned the health reasons the employees wouls not change their position. A restaurant should cater to what the customers ask for. When all the seats in the house are not full should there be discrimination because of the size of the group. Unfortunately because of this we will not be returning to this establishment. This would be a zero star review if yelp would let one rate that. read more
