[[HIGHLIGHT]]This isn't your classic sushi belt restaurants, but it has a similar self serve vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The difference is you order off of a tablet and a little train brings you your food and drinks. Your server is a robot that sings a song and wheels water and plates your way. So really wouldnt be a place that you would go to as a fancy service place. You do get greeted and seated, but then it's kind of a self serve experience. The menu covers sushi basics: nigiri, sashimi, donburi, salad, gunkan, hand roll and roll. They have a limited selection of beverages and teas. Food is good, priced well but I wouldn't say high end sushi. But I come here a lot

We've been coming here for years and the food and service at sushi hana is wonderful every time! Fish is always super fresh and delicious, and the hand rolls are huge. We we got some rolls, udon and karaage today and everything was delicious as always!

Been a fan of this location since I was younger. There's always parking and seating. I think it's interesting that they took the conveyor belt out and had robots and train cars. Servers were friendly. 6 of us fit in a booth. I think the tablet experience could be a bit funner. Like a wallpaper when you're not ordering so you don't have to see the running total and maybe a little "call server" button for those not facing the server. Food was great! It is mainly $5-8 for a plate (prices are going up) but tasted good and after ordering on the tablet it comes in a train pretty quickly. I can on a Friday night and it looked like some people were on dates, eating with their fam, or eating with their bros. Ambiance was great!

Cool backdrop but it's in the back by the kitchen & bathroom

The host was quick to seat me, then the drink machine brought my drink promptly, and I was left to order using the tablet. The table doesn't swivel, so it takes a bit of getting used to. The food delivery was quite fast, ypu can feel the food belt move and you'll hear the beer when it delivers your food. The food was alright, rice was a bit gooey, overcooked. Fish was OK. I ordered the spicy tuna, salmon sashimi, firecracker and other rolls.

A good selection of seared nigiri and more!!!

For a Casual Sushi Bar, Sushi Hana his all the right notes! It has a great variety and selection.. including basic sushi, as well as a good variety of speciality sushi (cooked and prepared differently). I really enjoyed the Vegas roll which is a deep fried roll, with cream cheese. Yup, it's amazing! Crispy and delicious! I also love all the selections they have for seared garlic nigiri! They also have different selection of fatty sushi, which is a great option to have! Quality is great, and price is a little bit higher for a casual sushi bar... but the quality speaks volumes! Another different and unique aspect is that it's a converted conveyor style sushi bar. You order on the tablet, and the sushi will come automatically to you on the two way conveyor belt! Sometimes a little tricky to go with kids, as they have a more difficulty time listening to instructions to not push the tray back... but it's still prettt exciting and entertaining for them! Would go back again when in the area, and craving for sushi!

This has easily become my favorite sushi place after my first visit. The highlights are taste, variety, price, cleanliness, and dining experience. A lot of the positives stem from the new monorail system the restaurant has. Each row of seats (around 4 booths) gets its own monorail. You order from the tablet what you want, it gets made in the kitchen and delivered to you in a clear container that goes down the rail and stops at your booth. The monorail system combines the benefits of belt sushi and off the menu sushi. You get about 3-4 rolls for around $5 in a plate. And 2 nigiris for ~$5. I like that you don't have to order full rolls since this allows me to try a variety of rolls instead of having to order just 1 or 2 per meal. But since it's also being made specifically as you order, the rolls taste fresh. The warm rolls and sides that are fried are delightfully warm when they come out. You also get the added benefit of knowing the sushi hasn't been sitting around on the belt for who knows how long. (which is nice while covid is still around) I really enjoyed everything that we ordered. All the seared salmon dishes, nigiri & maki, melted in my mouth. The shrimp tempura & calamari were nice and crispy. And all the rolls had their own distinct tastes instead of tasting all the same. My favorites were the Vegas roll and the Crunch Philly roll. Which is surprising as I don't usually like cream cheese in my rolls. I think the fact that the cream cheese is warm when it comes out really sealed the deal for me. All in all, this is a great sushi place in my opinion and you won't regret trying it out. :)

Cute atmosphere. Loved that we could sit and talk without interruptions. You order from a tablet on the table and can order when you want something! Great selection. Cute little robot brings the water. Food is delivered via a monorail system. Food is fresh and delicious.

This was an interesting dining experience. Ordering was done on a tablet at the table. Sushi was delivered on a monorail system straight from the kitchen. The sushi train makes it a fun and exciting atmosphere because the food comes directly to your table without warning. Robots are also servers here, they delivered the water. Food was a bit pricey considering there are only 3-4 pieces per roll. I liked the seared salmon nigiri best. Would pass on getting the rainbow roll, it was mediocre. Highlights: *seared salmon nigiri *paradise roll *garlic lover roll

Delicious sushi! I really appreciated the ability to add additional sauces on the side. This is the first sushi place I have found that has that feature for their online ordering via DoorDash. I got the New York, Spicy California, Creamy Tuna and Dynamite Rolls with unagi, spicy mayo and soy sauce on the side. I felt this was very good value for what you got and was generous portions. Absolutely recommend.

The cuisine has excellent seasoning. I chose two appetizers, Takoyaki and Hamachi Karma, and found both to be delicious. The Takoyaki had a well-balanced flavor. Yummy. The Hamachi Karma displayed both the fish and dipping sauce with wonderful flavors. The drizzle sauce and spinach on the plate seem to be intentionally included. They complement the dish altogether. I think both the recipe maker and the chef demonstrated great skill in their execution. I should experience different dishes next time. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive to their customers. My green tea never ran out. I rarely ate at a restaurant without asking for more water or tea. It may seem like a little thing, but I valued their attention. This restaurant may become one of my go-to places to eat.

Both nights, I enjoyed great food and excellent service. The first night, I thoroughly enjoyed ikura (salmon roe) with quail egg, ami ebi (sweet shrimp) -- love me fried shrimp heads, and a specialty roll -- black lava spider roll. The second night I ordered miso soup, yellowtail scallion roll, saba (mackere) nigiri, eel avocado roll and tobiko nigiri. On both evenings, I opted for green tea instead of an alcohol alcoholic beverage. Another reviewer commented that there is a brisk takeout app service, which was noticeable both nights I was there. I am talking these experiences up as a win. I will be back in the area, and it is nice to know there is a restaurant I can count on for great food and service.

Yet, it's disappointing to say that we've been sourly disappointed the last 2-3 times we came here. Not sure if it's management change or something happened, but Nakagawa lost its magic with us. 1. The service has been terribly slow and just not inviting anymore. After ordering, we waited easily 35-40 min for the food. I know it takes time to meticulously prep rolls, but after 30 min of just sitting and waiting, you can't help but start feeling hangry. And this isn't just a one-time occurrence - this happened multiple times for us. 2. The bento box quality. I LOVE bento boxes - it was such a treat to dine on so many different Japanese options, like a sampler box of goodness. Ranging from nigiri to sushi, from tempura to the soup, bento boxes have a special place in my heart. Yet, I feel like Nakagawa's bento boxes have sadly missed that mark. The protein (chicken teriyaki/katsu) tastes old and oddly mushy, and the portions are quite small, just leaving me wanting more. Don't get me wrong - the fish is still good. Solid place for seafood, paired with a lengthy wait. But Nakagawa just lost its touch with us, and driving that 30-35 min trek is not worth it for us anymore.

We split an udon dish ($12.95), ordered 5 sushi plates + 1 order of crab rangoon but the portions felt quite small for the price. The fish did not taste as fresh or high quality as I was hoping, and the overall meal was underwhelming. Service was also inconsistent during our visit. We waited about 25 minutes before anyone noticed our water glasses were empty. At one point, I tried to get a staff member's attention for a refill, and they told me to hold on while they grabbed a white to go bag for another table in front of us. Unfortunately, they never came back, and we ended up waiting even longer. My friend and I's total came to about $41 per person after tip, and I left feeling disappointed with the value for what I received. For a similar price point, I personally prefer BittyFish in Lynnwood, where I have found the portions, quality, and overall experience to be better. Sushi Zone was not terrible, but it was not memorable enough for me to return. The flavor was good, the place is pretty clean and stocked though for options. Just wish the prices were better priced for the portion or the portions were bigger to match the price. Felt a little scammed.

I'm placing this as one of my new favorite sushi spots on the Eastside! Four of us came for an early dinner around 4:30P on a Saturday and got seating right away in a booth. The restaurant is on the smaller end with just a few tables on each side and a few seats at the sushi bar. In addition to an appetizer, two of us shared three specialty sushi rolls and the other two in our group ordered the chicken katsu meal set. Our sushi arrived beautifully all on one plate. Each specialty roll included 10 pieces and they all contained a generous amount of filling with a relatively thin rice layer, making the average price of $18 - $19 per roll worth the value. + TAKOYAKI ($7.50): These deep-fried dumplings had a soft creamy interior and housed a small piece of tender octopus. Four pieces came in an order, topped with mayo, unagi sauce and bonito flakes. I loved the crispy exterior and they were served steaming hot. I am not sure they were made in-house or frozen, but they were delicious. + KOUSHI ROLL ($17.99): A crab, avocado and cucumber roll topped with cajun seared salmon, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, green onion and fish roe. Between the crab filling and spicy mayo, this is a pretty creamy roll. The salmon on top had a very light sear, so while the smoky flavor was noticeable, I considered it closer to raw. The unagi sauce added some sweetness that offset the mild spice. + NAGOYA ROLL ($18.99): Tuna avocado roll topped with salmon, ponzu sauce, sweet sesame sauce, green onion and fish roe. The freshness of the fish especially shined here between the large cubes of tuna inside and the meaty slice of raw salmon on top. The sauce simply enhanced the roll without taking over the flavor, so it didn't distract from the purity of the ingredients. + SETO ROLL ($18.99): Spicy tuna and cucumber inside topped with tuna, ponzu sauce and green onion. This roll is HOT, like at least 3/5 stars on the spice scale! As spicy as it was, I really enjoyed it, especially since half the roll was topped with medium fatty tuna which was such a nice treat. Lean tuna draped over the other half. Chopped green onion on top added pops of freshness. The chicken katsu meal ($16.99) came with salad, rice and miso soup. I tried one piece of the chicken which was tender and had an excellent light crunch! Service was great as the two employees managing the dining room checked back a couple times and were actively watching in case any of the tables needed anything. I know I'll be back again for more sushi!

Tons of options for gluten free too! The takeout site was super easy, but I will say that it had different pricing depending on if you accessed it through their site, google, or a third party. The cheapest option (by a few dollars per roll) was to access pickup directly through their website. Glad I saw that and caught it before ordering. I got there right at the time of my pickup and the food was ready shortly after. They packaged the two veggie rolls in one box, and the two fish in another. She got the ACC roll which was basic and satisfying. She also loved the green dragon. I got spicy tuna which had a bit too much tuna for my taste, and I LOVED red dragon roll. The staff inside was quick and friendly. It looked like they were pretty busy, but managing the crowd well. The place wasn't too loud and seemed to have a great lunch vibe.
