The start of a very good night

Really enjoyed my first visit to Sushi Zone. The staff was able to quickly seat us and take our drink order. The sushi belt was always well stocked with delicious sushi. There are plenty of options across the board for people. The seats and booths are comfortable. We ended up only get sushi items but they also offer some hot items like fried chicken and other items.

Sushi Zone is probably the best conveyor belt sushi in greater Seattle area. They offer a wide variety of raw sashimis/nigiris and rolls. Everything was so fresh and the portion size was very reasonable. The staff were helpful, always checking in if we needed anything. It's also family friendly. Highly recommended.

Here's a polished version of your review: Had an excellent time at Sushi Zone! It's always busy whenever I go for dinner, but the service is impressively fast and the servers are very attentive compared to other conveyor belt sushi spots I've been to. I really like how they separate the cold sushi and hot dishes onto two different levels of the belt. The fish quality is pretty good for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, and most of the hot dishes were delicious. Definitely a solid spot when you're craving quick and satisfying sushi!

I'm not a conveyor belt sushi person but everyone I tried this place with agreed that it's one of the better ones that we've had! Food & drink: (3/5) I usually try to avoid conveyor belt sushi because of past experiences that weren't so great. We stopped by this place before drinks nearby and fortunately it ended up being pretty good. What surprised me was how well their rice was cooked and seasoned. This is usually something completely overlooked in other conveyor belt places. I thought the fish quality was mostly good as well with my fav being white tuna (underrated and hard to find). Ratio of rice to fish is also great compared to other places. While this won't be my new go-to spot for sushi, I really enjoyed trying it! Service: (5/5) They were so busy the night we came but were still so kind! I can see why this is such a local fav spot.

I walked up the street for lunch today. I had to wait just a few minutes to be seated but less than 5. The restaurant was very busy but they have lots of helpful and pleasant staff. I asked to order from the huge menu rather than using the conveyer belt. I was brought a large metal glass of delicious tea and was not rushed while I read through it trying to decide. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were delicious and less than $5. I picked the Seahawks roll and an eel and avocado rolls that were both great. I ordered four gyoza and the beef ramen to bring home for dinner. So good

Stopped in for lunch was brought water about 10 minutes of being seated. Then no one came by. Since it's a conveyor belt I was able to get the food I wanted. It was just ok a bit fishy. Service was literally non existent. I had to flag someone down just to pay my check. They just handed me the machine to pay and ran off. Never came back.

I haven't been to a sushi conveyor belt place in a minute and when a friend invited me, I was excited to go. Parking is in back of the place. Please take note of the address and park in the appropriate lot for an easy walk into the building. Staff was warm and welcoming and made all the difference for this lunch. The conveyor belt has an upper and lower track. The upper track is for room temperature, sushi and rolls and the lower is for hot entrées. We tried several different things and among them were salmon, tuna, yellowtail, Unagi, edamame, Tempura, shrimp, and vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious. What really made to visit stand out was the service that we received. Throughout our lunch, the staff were courteous and prompt to keep our glasses filled, and removed things from our table that we did not need. When we left my lunch companion left behind an item at about an hour later we went back to find that they had set it aside and saved it for us. Thank you very much. Great experience.

HOH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI SPOT. High quality fresh fish, phat portions, and great prices. I swear to everything that is holy--YOU HAVE TO COME HERE. They serve specialty cuts of fish (fatty tuna, toro, uni, amaebi) at neighborhood prices with thick portions. I got the chirashi bowl and it came with twelve HUGE slices of fish. Everything--from the conveyor belt sushi to the à la carte options--was incredibly fresh. The toro MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Literally the pork belly of the sea. The salmon was tender and luxurious. I also ordered a few nigiri options and a soft shell crab roll. Again, the prices compared to the portion size are ridiculous in the best way possible. Every other sushi spot (especially Sushi Koushi) is overpriced and a rip-off compared to Sushi Zone. Every single dish is a knockout. This place is truly one of Bothell's pride and joy. Service was friendly and fast. The interior is clean, and the conveyor belt had plenty of options. There's even a second belt on the bottom for hot dishes like teriyaki chicken, gyoza, and tempura. The exterior is unassuming, but it opens up into a surprisingly spacious dining area. Plenty of street parking, too.

I have dined in and done take out and prefer take out because my favorites aren't always readily available on the conveyor belt (if that's the case, you can place an order). Their tuna is consistently fresh and there's a variety of rolls to choose from. The service is friendly and they've always been happy to help me.

I LOVE sushi zone! It is one my favorite spots for sushi/seafood that is also near my university. My friends and I love to go there, they have delicious and fresh tasty sushi. I also enjoy how I get to try multiple different rolls and treats. They have sushi, appetizers, fruit, desserts, and more! Please try them out, they are amazing!

A rotating sushi restaurant with fun rolls and fast service. Come here for fresh food and quirky delivery. But don't be thrown off by the worn out furniture and the long lines.

I walked in to ask the Host where the sign up list was to get seated. He responded by saying to get in line outside. I did and then waiting right outside the door only to watch 3 parties walk right in front of me. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say some had reservations, but I knew two did not as I heard them discuss "oh they shut off the check-in" tablet. The area was disorganized and the host could have done a better job at asking who was next rather than just taking whoever was in front of him. This kind of service is well below the mark. If you like Kura, go to the Bellevue location where service is much more pleasing and accommodating. I have never had an issue at that location. This wasn't a one time issue. Last time at the Lynwood location, they took forever to even deliver water and wasabi. As a paying customer, you deserve better!

It seems like they have one person waiting the tables for the whole restaurant while also acting as the host. Kudos to him. FOOD Agedashi tofu: it feels like they repurpose me their tofu from another dish for this. It was made with FIRM tofu and was not the right texture. Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake): a bit thicker than I'd like but the flavor was good and had a lot of veggies. Udon: this was a surprise. Didn't use the typical brown memmi broth but rather a clear, maybe dashi?, broth. Full of flavor and kids loved it. Ramen: pretty decent. Noodles were cooked well and I'd definitely order this again if I come back. SERVICE Food comes out erratically as it's completed by the kitchen. Appetizers never came out. Server offered to take the tofu and appetizer off our bill. Overall, great service. VERDICT For the price, this place is quite reasonable. There are some dishes that are great, and others that are just okay.

Not a lot of people there for a random weekday lunch. Lots of different rolls and sushi on the menu, along with beverages. The happy hour menu is also valid during lunch time. We tried a bunch of appetizers. My favorite was the calamari. There isn't much batter but there is a sweetness from orange zest. The edamame and takoyaki were decent. The chicken kaarage was not particularly flavorful nor did it have much of a crispy skin. Also tried the Cos-no-politan mocktail which definitely had that grapefruit flavor. For mains, I got the bento and the Super Bad Boy roll off the happy hour menu. The bento box has good portions. The contents change day to day, but I got chicken teriyaki over rice, 3 pieces of a crab roll, 2 pieces of fish nigiri, seaweed salad with some small octopi. Everything in the box was decent except the teriyaki, which was a bit rubbery. As for the Super Bad Boy roll, it's one of their fried rolls, and the frying made the roll taste a bit dry. Should have ordered a non-fried roll. Overall, service was good, portions okay. Some items were good, some were not that great.

The restaurant's ambiance is such that it feels like you are dining alone, as the high-backed seating prevents visibility of other patrons, except for those seated next to you. Consequently, it is also impossible to see the staff. The restaurant utilizes technology to facilitate ordering and serving. Robot servers and automatic belt conveyers deliver orders to the table. Regrettably, it is challenging to request assistance from human servers. I dropped my napkin on the floor, and I was unable to request a replacement due to the absence of a call button, no option to order napkins on the tablet, and the invisibility of servers. This situation is unpleasant, particularly with soy sauce spilled on the table. I was quite frustrated. The constant overlap of loud radio music and zen music from the robot is not ideal. I would prefer it if the Japanese "Zen" music from the robot was played all the time, while the background radio station was turned off. The radio's energetic vibe does not fit with the restaurant's layout and atmosphere. Alternatively, using Zen music as background music and turning off the robot's music would be a better option. This is my opinion. I have mix uneasy feeling to dine here. I believe technology is most effective in a busy restaurant with adequate staff. The atmosphere, layout, music, staff, and food quality do not cohesively come together.
