    Belt sushi $3.25 a plate
    Frances L.

They have all day one plate menu prices, no watching for colored plates and seperate amounts which I LOVE! The sushi is fresh they cook and prepare right in front of you. They have some unique items of sushi, sashimi, and noodle dishes. 5 of us were easily seated around noon on a Monday with no wait time. The conveyour is frequently stocked with everything from just made sushi plates to dessert and fresh fruit. The decor is a little dated, but with prices these days who can afford to renovate right? ;) We will be back great lunch and early dinner option in EastCouve.

    Love potato croquettes.

My expectations are low for conveyor belt sushi, but this one is better than most. I was pleasantly surprised that potato croquets were one of the choices: yum. Also enjoyed the roll with the green pepper base. I did pass on a few items as they looked dated, but a few other cut rolls I tried were more than satisfactory. And a good beer selection too.

This is a great location to try a variety of sushi and everyone can pick whatever they like. This is a great spot to bring someone for a date or even for family. All of their sushi plates are the same price, and they also make hand rolls to order. There is ramen and udon too.

    Not so yummy sushi

Well it's been before Covid when I was here. I have been going here for sushi for 20 years. I see new owners taking over all the time. You can always tell by the new sushi rice machine. Lol The place was semi crowded for a Wednesday evening around 6pm. I tried their sushi and there was really no taste to it. The portions are super small too. The wasabi is not hot at all and their green tea tastes like water. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and there was not spicy sauce on it. It's costs $6.00. The prices are pretty high too. All the sushi plates there costs $2.95 each for just 3 bites of sushi. Plus, the sushi looked and tasted stale. At least the spider roll I got was kind of yucky. I mean the crab was kind of spongy. I had to put two large tablespoons of wasabi in my small soy sauce dish and still it was not spicy hot at all. Overall, please save your money and go some place else like the Longhouse at ilani.

My favorite sushi place in Vancouver. Been going here for 2 decades. Since I was a kid with my family, I'm now 34. I remember when they had $1 plates, $1.50 plates + now every plate is $2.95, not complaining. But if you have a family of 4 - 6, plan on paying $100+ ....Between the two of us, our bill is usually $40 - $50. Staff is quick, fast, and friendly. I will be a forever customer. The only suggestion I have for them, is to remodel their bathrooms. The bathrooms smell good, but it's dingy and in need of an upgrade. They make a ton of $$$$ charging $2.95 per plate now, so hopefully they renovate the bathrooms soon. Other than that, love this place

Terrible food. Sushi choices consist mostly of imitation crab. Gyoza is covered in tempura. Dirty restaurant. Avoid.

The new renovation definitely feels more elevated, and honestly Vancouver needs more spots like this where you can enjoy a nicer atmosphere without having to drive into Portland. Service was great, staff was professional, attentive, and overall gave off a good vibe. It actually felt like they enjoy working there, which makes a difference. I did read on their webpage that they aim to bring authentic Japanese and Korean food. Personally, wouldn't consider it fully authentic, especially if you've traveled to Japan or the mainland, you'll notice the difference. The food leans more toward American style Japanese/Korean cuisine. That being said, the food was still good and satisfying. Not authentic, but enjoyable. We would come back and are interested in trying more items on the menu. I'll update my review if anything changes.

Didn't get to get a picture of the new look inside but it was very beautiful w the white centered tree. Wasn't busy when me and my sisters went around 3 pm. The food: was amazing! I got the Dia-bowl ramen and Gyoza. The Dia-bowl is actually very spicy, would only recommend if you love spice. My sisters got the Korean Bulgogi which she loved, and The Original Ramen bowl which she also said had great flavor. Would come again!

Review is based off Thursday (4pm-7pm)…read more I needed a place to do homework that had both actual food options and coffee, and behold this place was the perfect answer to all my needs. Ambiance: there are various options of seating, I enjoyed the booths in the back, it felt extra cozy. I loved that the lighting was natural and slowly adjusted as the day went by. Food: I saw someone's post of the fried rice and because I could literally taste it through the photo, I had to order it when I got here. It was as delicious as it looked, so flavorful!!!!!!!! Chicken Fried Rice w/ Medium Spice: 5/5 flavor 5/5 spice level (medium tasted like medium, thank goodness) the chicken could've been diced up a bit more, but no complaints here, we finished the plate! Truly one of the best dishes I've ever put in my mouth. !!!!!!‼ I will add... there were fun little surprises in the Fried Rice.... Raisins, Pineapple, Cashews, Onions... Be aware of that if you have any allergies ‼ Service: the lady that took our order and served us might've been the owner, but she was incredibly nice and attentive. She was cheerful to take our order and deal with our first experience- I tend to ask a lot of questions... I didn't see an option for spice on the menu and she was happy to custom my order and I am so glad I asked! At one point she even turned down the music just in case it was too loud. Service Speed for dine-in: Coffee: less than 5 minutes Food: less than 15 minutes !!!!!!!!! Highly reccomend this place, I will definitely be making this my go-to late study spot. I wish I could gatekeep but let's support our local businesses! (・・)
