I loved the chopped blue cheese pecan salad which was really delicious and a good price. The overall menu is very expensive.

We stopped in here before a movie to grab a couple cocktails and some food. Overall, it was just okay. Of course we ordered the blooming onion -- it was very greasy, which is somewhat expected with that dish, but this was a bit over the top. We also tried the clam chowder. Our server mentioned it was thick, which it was, but unfortunately it didn't have much flavor. I didn't even end up finishing my cup. The side salad was pretty underwhelming and seemed like it came straight from a bag. We also ordered coconut shrimp along with a few cocktails. Service was probably the most frustrating part of the visit. After placing a drink order, we could see the drinks sitting at the bar for quite a while, but our server was nowhere to be found and no one else stepped in to bring them over. On a positive note, the restaurant itself is large and seemed fairly clean. That said, with so many better dining options around, I probably won't be coming back anytime soon read more

We came on Mother's Day and despite it being busy we were seated quickly. The table was nice and big so we were comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job. I had the pork chop with baked potato and a side salad. My spouse had coconut shrimp with steak and a baked potato. The food and drinks tasted great and we were all full and happy! read more

This has been a favorite place for us to come with our neighbors. We love the steak dinners and they love to get the margaritas. We have been here several times every time we leave full with leftovers the bread is super delicious. The staff is always really nice and timely. Very good at their jobs. I watch for specials in the local paper, but really I come here whether there's a coupon or not just because the food is really good. There's lots of space in the booth and plenty of time to stretch out and relax. The best part is the smile on everybody's face is when we're done. It's well worth the time to come Here. read more

I hadn't been to an outback for a very long time, so took the family out for dinner here. It was a delightful experience. They have really good prices on kids meals, which I appreciate it very much, and other deals that made it a very affordable option. I'm a prime rib, lover, so I had the prime rib and I found it to be good, but not great. I loved the site options that came with it and I had the loaded, baked potato and broccoli both of which were fantastic. Really attentive, friendly service and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. This review is going to summarize two recent visits. The first visit was a family occasion and couldn't have been more perfect. We were seated right away and had an awesome table. The food was delicious, server was friendly and prompt. Hmmm.. what can I say about ambiance is just that it was a normal Outback and inside was nicely set up. Our rating for that visit was a definite 5. After such a great visit the week before we decided to go back for lunch when we were at the mall. If this had been the first visit, we would not have had a second. Service was slow. How slow? Very, very slow. We waited and waited to have our order taken and about ready to leave. Then, we waited and waited to have our food served. Our thought was they needed more help. No idea but not a good experience. Food was okay but not as good as the week before. The rating for this visit ... may 2.5 or probably a 2. With both visits behind I really hesitate to give it a 4 after the lunch but will. We probably won't go back for quite a while afterwards tho but at least if you read this, you'll have a picture of maybe good or maybe bad . read more

I absolutely love the Outback, I've been coming to this establishment since I was a little kid. The restaurant itself is always clean with updated furniture on the inside and makes you feel very welcomed! When it comes to the service it's always spot on and very friendly although the last time I went my server, didn't care to be there, but that will not change my thought on the restaurant itself. When it comes to the food, the steaks are always cooked to perfect perfection. The chicken critters are unbelievably flavorful with the crust of the appetizer from the blooming onion. Went here awhile ago with my boyfriend. Service was very slow. Took us more than 5 minutes to be seated and the restaurant was almost completely empty. The fried mushrooms were way too greasy and made me feel sick. My main course was just ok, not good enough for the price for sure. I had not eaten at Outback for over 10 years and the quality has definitely declined. The filet was tough for the cut. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very professional and attentive the entire time. The menu has a nice variety of choices. We had the peppered tuna appetizer (delicious) and it was the perfect amount for two people. I had the filet mignon and a lobster tail. Both were cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful. My husband had a rib eye steak with chimichuri on the side. He happily devoured it. Wrapped up our dinner with a slice of perfectly baked cheesecake with raspberry sauce. TRASHIEST OUTBACK EVER. Literally the worst service I have ever had at any restaurant, ever. I should have recorded it. Would make for good content. It is a skill for a server to walk past your table repeatedly while completely avoiding eye contact and conveniently not hearing asks for attention. Our waitress "Misty" had mastered this art. When she finally did gift us with her attention, she brought a refill. I learned she had added cherry juice in my diet soda instead of just cherries. She decided it would be appropriate to tell me that is what I ordered. I said no, I am diabetic, I did not order sugary juice in my Diet Coke. I ordered a Diet Coke with some cherries. Miscommunications happen... gaslighting isn't necessary. She told me that the last one had cherry juice in it. Well, what's done is done. She said she would remake it. Thanks, end of story, right? Let's just try to salvage this deteriorating experience. Oh but no. After another long wait, she came back with the new one and explained she tried really hard to get all the juice out of the cherries but could not get all of it - there still might be sugar in them. Uhhh what? Apparently it was time for this server to educate me about how there is sugar juice in cherries. I asked if she thinks I am an idiot... A little incidental juice is inside of a few cherries is entirely different than dumping liquid sugar in my drink. She went away and that is the last we saw her. After another very long wait, the the active sabotage began! A runner brought the food out. They were not very convincing when they "accidentally" spilled a drink all over two of the plates... mostly mine. (If it was really drinks for "another table", we would have seen someone come out of the back with replacements for that mysterious other table. That did not happen.) Whoops. She will have it remade. Went ahead and gave my husband his plate, despite the drenching. Asked for a manager. If that was actually the manager who came out, I would be shocked. I said we would just like to leave. The sarcasm from this guy was palpable. Egregiously unprofessional. We left. First time in my entire life I ever just left a restaurant mid-meal. Got home and my blood sugar hit a new record high and I feel ill. This Outback visit is the gift that keeps on giving. Dare I even eat the food they packed up for us? I recall there was a Southpark episode that suggests we shouldn't. If there was ever a restaurant staff not to trust, it would be this one. read more

We always go inside and tonight we did curbside pu. It was ahhh not great . Steak was overcooked and I paid for a extra bag for cold food yet the salads were with hot food so by the time I got home the salads were wilted. We will always go back it just was meh today. read more

We met up with family for a bday dinner. It was busy but it didn't take long to be seated. We were greeted by our waiter in a way that projected unhappiness for being there but they were quick with the taking, putting in and delivering our food to the table but didn't really check in until it was time to pay the bill (which is done by the table setting machine (which didn't work when checking out)). Outback wins again! Took a quick trip to Washington to visit the grandkids. Headed to the Vancouver Mall and thought we'd compare our local outback in Roseville with the one in Washington. It was an opportunity to calibrate restaurant consistency. Well let's start with the service. Sierra waited on our table and she was fantastic! As for the food, my son and I split the Chicken Sandwich and Prime Rib Sandwich. This is a regular practice for us when we eat together. It gives us a chance to try two different meals...Oh Ya! They both were excellent, but the tender, juicy prime rib sandwich dipped in the au jus sauce loaded with caramelized onions was off the chart. The sweet potato and fries were also very good. My wife had the filet, as usual, and they didn't disappoint. She also loved the loaded baked potato and the perfectly cooked broccoli. The ambiance was fine and the meal comparable to our Roseville location. Congrats Outback, your quality carried over from one state to the next. The sleeper meal was my granddaughters chicken strips. They were tender, moist and cooked to perfection! Great job Outback and again Sierra! Service always makes or breaks a restaurant experience. And Sierra made our experience a good one. read more

I was looking for some good prime rib and thought "hey, why not outback?" So disappointed. So We went to Outback in Vancouver, wa on a Friday hoping to get the prime rib. It was about 6:30 pm, so I was fairly confident I could get rare prime rib at that early hour. Sat in bar area. Service was so-so, bartender was very distracted or maybe in-different. No smiles, no enthusiasm. I asked if they still had rare prime rib, which she said yes, and we put in our order for prime rib, rare and my partner ordered filet medallions, medium-well. Service was slow, and when dinner was brought out, it was clear that the prime rib was closer to medium, and was dry. Partners steak was more rare, not medium well as ordered. After a couple of bites, and after finishing my sides, No check back to see how our dinner was. Nada, nyet, nothing. Finally flagged down the server and I asked if I could get another cut, rare, as I ordered. She was argumentative, and less than understanding, and more about telling me that they may not have any rare prime rib. She asked the kitchen and returned to tell me that that was the rarest they had, and that she only brought me that dish, saying "it was meant for someone else", meaning maybe someone changed their mind or sent it back. That would explain why it was dry and completely cold. When I waited tables, I would never take a dinner out to a table that was clearly not what they ordered. If you say you have rare prime rib, then please double check BEFORE you take it to a customer hoping they will be ok with a marginal product. Waiting for another steak to be cooked while my partner eats, is not my idea of a good dinner date. So for the $100+ dollars for dinner, I will go to Costco and buy 4 ribeyes and cook them myself. Typical Outback next to a Mall on a Saturday night experience! Had a party of 5, so called 2 hours in advance to make a reservation. They explained they could only make a reservation 1 hour in advance. We called back and made a reservation. Showed up 15 minutes before our reserved time. ***I highly recommend you call 1 hour in advance to make a reservation.*** The hostess didn't see our name on the reservation list but there was a similar sounding name with the same about of people at the same time scheduled. The place is a freakin ZOO BTW. People everywhere. It was super cold outside so it was shoulder to shoulder in the waiting area except for these three young Mormans trying to spread the word with anyone who would listen. The hostess ended up giving us the similar sounding name spot. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was super nice and did her best to check on us but like I mentioned it was freaking crazy in the there. Our table and everything was clean and surprisingly the restrooms weren't too bad except for the trash overflowing. Kudos to all the staff for doing what you do!!! I'd probably quit after working like that for an 8 hour shift. Anyhow!! I gave this experience a solid 3 based purely on the crazy hectic environment and the outstanding job the staff does. Once again, Outback Steakhouse does not disappoint. It is consistently awful and remains on my never again list. I gave two stars instead of one because the service in the bar was really good. I would say the service as a hole was worth at least four stars. They had no draft ciders, no draft Pilsner but at least the hard liquor selection for a mixed drink was also very poor. I didn't dare order a steak as the last two times I did, it came out well done instead of medium anything at all. I was really hungry and tried an appetizer and the shrimp came out just dripping and soaked in grease. I regret not taking a photo to post here it was just so exceptionally bad. I batter fry shrimp all the time and I just don't see how it can come out that bad. read more

Nice flavor on my 6oz sirloin, cooked to my request, Tender! Baked Potato with the fixings fine - enjoyed the coconut shrimp with the dipping sauce citrus y with some sweet heat. Service was pleasant, given time to select, and checked on during meal if everything was OK. All in all, simply a experience I look forward to repeating. read more

We were hungry for a drink and a blooming onion so we took a chance on this place, ignoring the reviews. The hostess was delightful, and we let her know that we were going to the bar. We waited 10 minutes for service and gave up and left. We'd understand if the place was packed or if we were ever even acknowledged, but neither were true. Two servers were behind the bar and spent the entire time at the register, only stopping to refill the only other Parton at the bar. Not even a glance out way. Came to the outback today for a late lunch or early dinner! This location is at the Vancouver Mall. I must say that the steak today was delicious! I got a ribeye with a baked potato and Caesar salad. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and the potato had all the right toppings. The Caesar salad has a very delicious dressing on it, plus fresh with croutons that were just right. Not too hard. My son got the bone in ribeye. Also delicious and perfectly cooked. He started with the loaded baked potato soup. Lots of yummy ingredients including bacon and cheese. Nice serving size as well.Our service today was awesome. The server was attentive and checked on us several times. I had a strawberry lemonade which was very tasty and fresh. The steak was so heavily peppered I could not eat it. Save some pepper for the rest of the world, please. Lobsters were overcooked and rubbery. If you're going to boil your lobster tails remember one minute per ounce. That will probably be our last time here, the prices don't really match the quality of the food. read more

Didn't expect such good service from our server and OMG the manager. We were a party of 4 but ordered for a party of 6. We wanted our bone in rib-eye steaks well done and it came out medium rare. We sent it back after receiving it for the 2nd time, this time the manager came out and gave it to us apologize for it not being cooked the way we wanted it. Now as we were getting ready to eat we cut into it and it's still wasn't well done. They took it back and the manager had it fixed. Now that's what service is, we weren't trying to get anyone in trouble we just wanted to eat our steak and enjoy it. Which we finally did enjoy it. I also ordered separately a sweet potato , a cheesecake and a carrot cake. The total coming to around seventy nine dollars with tip. What I got Was A rare Burger with so much mustard on it. It overwhelmed the whole Burger. The second burger was med and had the same issue. Both burgers bottom bun was totally soggy. We removed the bun, scraped off the mustard and ate them. There was little if any seasoning on them. The 2nd burger had a small portion of Fries. The overcooked sweet potato was shoved in with the fries. We were supposed to get bread but as usual it was left out. On the flip side the mac and cheese was good, as well as both deserts. That meal was a waste of $78. 3 strikes , never again. read more
