Ordered takeout on a Saturday night, and was told it would be about a 30-40 minute wait, but it ended up only being 25! To start off positively, I would recommend their baked rolls, especially the Cajun roll, which is 100% not authentic, but totally delicious nonetheless. Their seared rolls were alright, but nothing too special. The no rice Asparagus Tempura roll was oddly flavorless. And, even though they specialize in mostly sushi, I think its worth mentioning that their udon is a meh. Its quite salty (was chugging water after having a small bowl of the order), and had that "instant noodle" taste to it. Their portions here seem to be smaller and pricier than their competitors, and without the quality of taste I would expect from a more expensive dish. I was also disappointed to discover that some of the dishes listed on their menu were not available online (e.g. Agedashi Tofu, Calamari Tempura). Overall, their sushi is alright, but my advice would be to take your business elsewhere, if only for your wallet's sake. read more

Ok This place is nice, and nice staff, but horrible food. I had the teriyaki chicken for $16 the portions are small, the teriyaki sauce was terrible bland not sweet it seemed to have gotten watered down by the chicken juices making me think the chicken was precooked and microwave heated, the chicken was dry and smelly, the rice didn't look fresh. I have no clue how this place has such a high rating. Sushi for the area base on 5 being average is at best a 6 but probably a 5. The service was at best a 5. Theres all of maybe 14 small tables there, 4 servers and could barely keep up without appearing distraught. Since I've been a server I know the struggles and patient but still didn't see why their service was so subpar. I've literally had better microwave Meso Soup than what they offered. Their rolls are a little over priced since it's more than other places that have better quality sushi. They forgot to bring our soup out that we ordered 10 minutes before ordering our rolls and didn't bring us any wasabi (isn't this automatic unless you ask not to have it?). There's certainly an issue with experienced servers and probably more importantly a management issue. The Yelp dollar sign should be updated from $$ to $$$ or $$$$ even. Paid 150 for a meal I could've gotten for 70 elsewhere - for the same quality, if not better. I am baffled with the rave reviews, which got me to try this place to begin with. Our server was extremely nice and accomodating. The place was clean. The ventilation was poor as I felt extremely tired the minute I walked in (no a/c?). There were two Sushi chefs, one had an N95 and totally followed the guidelines, while the other was wearing a black fabric mask with his whole nose sticking out - while preparing food! It stayed like this the entire time we were dining even though we brought it to their attention. When establishments have Staff like these, it makes for a very uncomfortable dining experience for the patrons. While we are here trying to stay safe, but also want to support local business in the area, the behavior of one Staff (this guy in particular) can ruin it for the entire business. Maybe it's me, but it's sending an "I-dont-care-about-your-safety" message loud and clear. The price felt like I dined at Little Tokyo, for the quality of, well, Wildomar. The portion could be better. The temperature of the appetizers (e.g. Miso soup, rice, shrimp tempura, calamari) could be a little warmer. The cuts of sushi could be better. Everything lacks flavor and authenticity. Believe me, it saddens me to write this review. But where is the justice here? Overpriced mediocre food, and Staff that cannot even follow a basic COVID requirement. There are better choices for Sushi and business that are grateful for your support. They put together a special ponzi sauce vs soy for dipping shows understanding of that compared to other houses. The Summer Roll was SO GOOD. Recently moved here from Irvine. Sushi Ka had good sushi but teeny tiny portions. I ordered a dinner entree serving of Unagi (eel) because the menu said 7 pieces & I LOOooovE eel. However, the pieces were not like you'd normally see, they were SHAVED, thin, 7 pieces thin.. like lunch meat.. for $21. Literally the mass you'd expect for the $7.95 nigiri item but very thin and spread over 7 pc.. I was Very disappointed. I LOOOVe quality sushi & am happy to pay more for quality but was this an opportunity to make up for costs maybe? Because it was take out? We've been eating at Sushi Ka in Wildomar for the past 3-1/2 years. It's truly the best sushi in town and that's including Murrieta. We just left here and I couldn't be more disappointed with their service. 3 waitresses yet it took a really long time for someone to even take our order and even longer to get the check and our cards back. The food is good but the service will keep us from ever coming back. Out of all 3 waitresses that were present, not a single one thanked us as we were given our check or as we were leaving. The atmosphere is not welcoming and left a really bad taste in our mouths. My advice would be to pay attention to new customers and not just your regulars you were socializing with. I have to say this is by far my favorite sushi place- we've ordered from here so many times since this crazy pandemic and the food always arrives beautifully packaged, they throw in extra sauces, and everything is always prepared beautifully and tastes delicious. Extremely disappointed with this place. We spent nearly a hundred dollars on takeout sushi and each order had very small portions and subpar quality. I wish I had taken a photo before we finished it. But basically we ordered 2 sashimis (salmon and tuna, 7 pieces each), and each slice was extremely thin. The rolls we ordered were also very small as well and nothing special. Great sushi but pretty pricey! Maybe I have been spoiled by AYCE places but even the regular rolls are pricey. I feel like a spicy tuna roll everywhere else is $4-5 and here it's $7.50 I think.
