My family and I came here to satisfy a sushi craving we had and it delivered! We had sushi rolls and the kids had a plate and some noodles. So full of flavor and great texture on the chicken, even my kids finished their food which is rare. Our sushi rolls tasted good, but want to go back to try other sushi rolls they have. I love the crunchy texture so I'd want to try some of their other rolls. The server was so friendly and tended to us so patiently with the kids. It wasn't too busy on a week night so it felt like service could've been quicker but not that bad. Considering the amount of customers that were present, I didn't understand why my order took an hour plus from order to delivery. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and was asked to put our name on the waiting list. There were two tables open and the entire bar was open. However since it was our first time there, we just thought the bar was closed since they didn't mentioned we can sit there. As they clean the tables another table wanted to switch tables, so that they got to clean that too. It's not a big place at all. It felt really busy though. I don't think they have a system down so it felt kind of all over the place. One person cleaned and sat everyone while the other two I saw was doing other things. The one person who clean and sat everyone also ended up taking our orders as well. She pretty much did everything. We ordered and sat, while doing that regulars came in because they sat at the bar and was served immediately. They knew what was up. Have we have known we could have save 30 mins waiting. Wait time is NOT it. My mom and i sat at 9:00 PM and we're still waiting for our bento box 30 minutes before closing-- that's 1.5 hours!!!! Server was kind to tell us it will take 40-45 minutes but they gotta re-estimate that. We contemplated leaving about 3 times, but I was craving for a bento so we are sticking it out... but we were getting so tired that we were about to sleep on the bar. Sushi night? This is the place! My husband and I wanted to celebrate moving into the area with some sushi after all the packing and unpacking. We got the wings as an appetizer which were cooked to perfection. The flavor and crisp was amazing! We got tuna roll and California roll as well, and we also tried the Mexican roll! The Mexican roll was different but man- worth trying! We were surprised with the flavors and the taste! Can't wait to have another date night here. I'd give this place 3.5 stars. I don't know if this place would have been better on a weekend due to being staffed better, but we'll see. I would still go back. My husband and I came on a Tuesday night around 8:30. There were a few tables open, but they were all dirty and covered in previous guests' plates. The host told us to wait there until they could get it cleaned up. It didn't seem too priority though and we waited awhile. It also took a bit to get the menu and a water order in. The table was really sticky so we felt like we couldn't put our elbows up. That being said, the food was good, the waitress was nice, and The food came out quickly. We ordered the sunset roll and the Cajun roll. We also ordered this thing called a firecracker that wasn't on the menu. It's a fried rice with spicy tuna on top. It also came with avocado on top. This is genuinely my favorite place. I'll go here on my birthday, Christmas, St. Patrick's day, and any other day. The variety in the menu is perfect when bringing the whole family, though it's all sushi, there is something for every picky eater which makes it great for everyone. (The Korean fried chicken is awesome.) Sushi isn't usually my first choice since I am very picky about the quality of fish however, this place is excellent quality. You can definitely taste the difference between this place in comparison with others. Not only is the food great, the overall ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming. The staff were sweet, and you can tell that it is a family restaurant truly built of love. The waitress recommended a roll I really liked but, I sadly forgotten the name of it. It had seared or smoked salmon on the top and that was my favorite part about the roll. We also tried the Udon and I enjoyed that as well. The staff were all very friendly and helped recommended a lot of dishes we really liked since it was our first time there... It seems pretty pricey for everything, but I'm not eating as an everyday thing. I ordered the Korean chicken wings. Soy bean and spicy. They were both great. My son loved them. I also ordered sashimi, the 3 kinds and the fish quality was very fresh. I loved it! I ordered the calamari but felt the portion was too little for the price. Got edamame and and mussels. They were good! For rolls, we got 2 sunset rolls bc it was sooooo good! I got the shrimp lover roll. That was so tasty. We got a red dragon and some various other rolls. Salmon skin roll and a simple unagi roll. My son got an una don. And I got a yakisoba udon noodle style dish. Everyone enjoyed their food, and since it was my brother's bday, they surprised us with a birthday boat of vanilla and matcha ice cream! Very cool and generous! We also got the mochi. You can get better sushi at the grocery store. Upon arrival we were told by the waitress that we shouldn't order sushi due to a long wait time. When we asked for an estimate, she said 40-45 minutes. We decided to stay, order a few appetizers, and wait it out since my wife and friends have been eyeing this place for a while. Unfortunately, our sushi didn't arrive until what was nearly an hour and a half later. Based on the reviews, we hoped the food might redeem the experience. It didn't. The rolls were extremely underwhelming. The portion of fish on each roll was minimal, borderline stingy and the flavors were bland. Worst of all, my wife found what appeared to be a nose hair or a male eyelash embedded in her roll. Disgusting discovery that ended the meal for us. This was easily the worst sushi/dining experience we've all had in years. Between the poor service, the excessive wait, the disappointing food, and the hygiene issue, this place is a complete miss. I won't be back, and I definitely won't recommend it to any friends or family that visit Temecula. read more

This is a great family owned and operated restaurant! We love coming here, every time we do it never disappoints. The Kevin Special is one of our favorites, highly recommend.
