We have seen new reviews for Sushi Man pouring in and couldn't wait to try it. They also have glowing reviews for gluten free. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. A few people were sitting in the restaurant. We were promptly greeted and seated. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. They verified what could be made gluten free, and assured us that the sushi chefs knew what contained gluten. They also brought out gluten free soy sauce. Food is very good here. My girlfriend and I were originally going to Mind, Body and Soul which is a minute away from Sushi Man. The service was so bad that we left and came here. We ordered the calamari which was probably my least favorite. Very tough to cut and chew the calamari and it was the first time I ate calamari that was that big. Wasn't really a fan of that. Next we got a huge plate of chicken fried rice which was enough for my girlfriend and I to share. The rice is amazing with soy sauce. 10/10 for sure! Then we got a roll of chicken tempura roll and a roll of shrimp tempura roll. I loved it. Next time I'd try and see if I can get my rolls without guacamole on it because I'm never really a fan of guacamole but this food was very very good overall. I highly recommend it. This is a smaller, unique sushi restaurant. Everyone was very attentive and kind. The owner even walked around checking on food. The explanation of how he chooses each fish himself and where to use it was insightful.
