Monkey Roll (top) and Dinosaur Roll (bottom), very good!!

This was such a great experience. My fiancé and I came in on a Sunday around 5pm, we were quickly seated and greeted by our server. We ordered quite a few dishes off the bat, steak hibachi, 4 different types of rolls, rock shrimp and gyoza. I kid you not, everything was delivered to us maybe 5 mins later. All hot and fresh. The steak hibachi was delicious and had super tender hunks of meat. All of our rolls were delicious. I always order a spicy tuna roll anywhere I go, and this was for sure one of my favorites! The rock shrimp was our absolute favorite and we ended up getting 3 orders of that. Also the gyoza was decent too. To end our fest we ordered fried Oreos and bananas. Both were very good and as expected. Everything is truly delicious and sooo fast. We figured, if we go out to any other sushi place, by the time we order rolls, apps and drinks it would be the same amount as the AYCE. Totally worth the price to come here instead. 10/10 would definitely come back and bring more friends so I can try more stuff.

First time customer and happy with my meal. Service was exceptional and servers very friendly. The atmosphere is casual and beautifully decorated. We tried the all you can eat buffet. You scan a bar code to access your menu. I did not see any paper menus available but I didn't ask either. There are no robot servers here. They give you a 90 min time limit. We went on a Saturday and during weekends they charge dinner prices all day. The sushi is good and flavorful. I tried the dinosaur roll and the spicy girl roll. We shared a bowl of shrimp Udon noodles, edamame and spring rolls. The food was brought out very fast.

We decided to try out this place since we're looking for a new sushi spot so we ordered a bunch of rolls. We got the salmon avocado roll, spider roll, Jurassic roll and a bunch of other rolls. However, I realized that for most of the rolls, there was no flavor. I couldn't taste the eel, salmon or tuna due to the sheer amount of avocado on the roll. So basically all I could taste was avocado. There were also very small amounts of eel in one roll and a bunch of cucumber and avocado. This made me sad because I was excited to try this place out and they arranged everything so aesthetically. The wasabi also had no flavor despite me using so much in my soy sauce. If they use less fillers (avocado/cucumber) and put more of the sushi meat, I think that would help improve the taste of the sushi a lot. We also got the chicken udon which was good and the takoyaki was delicious. I really enjoyed the miso soup. We ordered takeout and they made all the food in 25 mins which was pretty quick.

Tried out those new AYCE sushi place in Henrietta, and it was great! Fish was fresh, rolls were tasty, and the service was attentive. Will definitely return! Restaurants was tastefully decorated and plates were unique.

Very calm ambiance, with amazing service from the waitress, and the food THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! I only got two Spicy Salmon Rolls but my brother got AYCE and he loved it and has gotten it before. They deserve 5 stars!! Great place for Sushi lovers They also have (actually) real wasabi!!! So far, I've been to this place twice in one week now. It's just that good. Luckily each time, I didn't need a reservation as I visit during the "slow time" and also, it's probably due to them being so newly opened. The menu is attractive and there seems to be three categories to choose from. Kitchen, sushi and/or dim sum. I've tried primary the sushi side and only a few dishes from the other categories. For the sushi, I've found it to be fresh. Being mainly a sashimi person, I prefer my fish straight. There hasn't been any fish I've tried that was off. It's presented beautifully and taste great. As for their rolls, I found them to be on par with any other restaurant that would charge $15 - $20 per roll. They aren't packed with rice (as some places do for obvious reasons), also presented well and having tried 80% of their Chef Special Rolls, the flavours work very well together and not two rolls are the same. I really need to curb my appetite for sushi and try more of their dim sum which so far, I've only tried a few which were fantastic. Side note, I found all the staff members to be very friendly and hospitable. They were very helpful and this added to the already great experience. Overall, for roughly $33 per person, this is a steal. I felt I 100% got my money's worth and I can't wait to return.

Sushi was filling . Somewhat seemed all the same , just had different names . Service was great. Inside the restaurant was nice .

Wow. I usually have low expectations for AYCE. I'm a bit of a Sushi snob. The place was clean. The service was great. You can see they take pride in the place which is rare these days. We had 10 rolls, Appetizers, sashimi, dessert. Everything was outstanding. I mean really good!!! Will definitely return. Highest recommendation.

My full order. Couldn't wait to dig in before taking this Pic

Stopped in and had the BEST sushi in a long time! Blown away. Service is friendly and patient (Ryan & Chen). ENERGY vibe is hip which makes dining more fun when you're solo Here's a tip: If you can't do AYCE, you can order a la carte off the Order Online Menu Here's my order (super tasty) - Spicy Girl Roll - Rock Shrimp - Beef yakatori - Seaweed salad - Salmon Avocado roll

Over sauced, less than mediocre sushi. Not worth the price at all. Super disappointing and had to trash half of my order

The food was delicious and all you can eat. My advice is to go during lunch time as it's something like 10 bucks cheaper. :)

The cherry tomatoes were a nice touch. The service is attentive and the food is served quickly. I may move to Rochester because of this place. It's that good. Now, when I was going to RIT (back in the day), I remember this being a Might Taco... but I'm quite delighted to see it as an OG Dumpling House location too! (Though it's probably a good thing that it wasn't a dumpling house when I was in college, because those freshman 15 would have been aaaaaaaaaall because of the soup dumplings.) You can order takeout or sit in the restaurant. Our getting offered a table when we first got there was a bit discombobulated, but we were asked after a few minutes if we wanted to sit or takeout and we confirmed we wanted to eat in the restaurant. After another minute or two, we were given our table. Because of the time waiting for our table, we had already decided on what we wanted to eat and drink... so we were able to order pretty quickly. We ordered the xiao long bao, of course, as well as steamed pork bao, and then fried green beans, fried calamari, and shumai to share. The items came out quickly enough... but as we were making our way through the plates, I was a bit surprised that our server wasn't also taking away plates that we'd finished. In most dim sum-type restaurants I've visited, it's common for the server to take finished plates away throughout the service to ensure you have room on the table for anything else that might be coming out. Since the tables in this location are perhaps a bit on the smaller side, we soon found ourselves running out of enough space to really spread out the plates to share. The soup dumplings are good... though they perhaps didn't have broth that was quite as flavorful as I'd been hoping for. I'm glad we visited, as OG Dumpling House has been on my list to try for quite a while. Now that the craving is appeased though, I'll be happy to try another one of Rochester's Chinese or dim sum-style restaurant locations.

I visited on a Friday night for the dinner all you can eat (AYCE) and it was not overly crowded…read more(but did start to fill up more after I was seated). Service was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. For the AYCE, you can get almost every item on the menu by either ordering it via the tablet at the table or taking a plate you want off of the revolving belt that goes around the restaurant. My friend and I did a little bit of both. We tried a lot of items and definitely got our money's worth. My favorites were the scallion pancake with beef roll and mala soup dumplings. Everything was good, the only small complaint I have is that I love a very marinated smashed cucumber salad and the one I took off the belt seemed like it hadn't been seasoned and allowed to sit for very long, so it didn't have a strong flavor. Other than that, everything was very good and I'd return, although I'd probably do a la carte next time (simply because AYCE led me to eat too much!).

I was greeted by friendly staff and immediately shown to a table. Looking around, I found this restaurant to be smaller than what I had in mind, but nevertheless it was decorated nicely, and seemed clean. We were met by Jessie who gave us the run down how everything worked. Everything on the conveyor belt is part of the AYCE, and we're also able to place orders on the tablet which will be delivered either by server or by a secondary conveyor belt which is above the revolving one. The thing I really loved is the fact the sushi rolls on the conveyor belt were 3 - 4 pieces. A great way to try the roll if you're nervous about placing one in that would consist of 6-8 pieces. We were satisfied with the options for sushi rolls that made its way around. A few appetizers we also enjoyed were the cocktail shrimp and pickled daikon and carrots. Looking through the menu on the tablet, we placed in a handful of different dim sum and sushi. Some highlights for us were the shumai, shrimp dumplings, and tripe. Some appetizers from the tablet we enjoyed were the fried scallops and egg rolls. For sushi, we really enjoyed the white tuna tataki. The nigiri and sashimi were fair and pretty standard. Now onto why this is a 4-star vs a 5-star. I visited twice now, and it seems certain items are always sold out. Reading other reviews, it seems to be the norm. It makes me believe it's possible perhaps these items are always sold out or rarely offered at the restaurant. This is a disappointment considering we're paying full price for several items to not be offered. Egg tarts, roast pork pastries, even some sushi options were sold out such as salmon roe and surf clam. Overall, this is a nice restaurant, and we were treated with great hospitality from Jessie and we enjoyed the majority of the items offered here. We're hoping our next visit, there won't be so many sold out items.

Chopsticks had included a fork, napkins and the small packets of sauces without being asked. When I arrived at my hotel room and opened the weighted take-out bag, I was surprised to see a large bowl instead of the usual cardboard box for my Szechuan chicken. The accompanying rice was in a box though. The Szechuan chicken was super-hot in temperature and extra spicy as ordered. Normally, when you ask for extra spicy the restaurants are fearful to actually make it so. Maybe it was the double extra, extra that clued them in. But it normally does not work for others. The Szechuan chicken had a lot of vegetables (green/red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn cobs) that make me feel better about eating Chinese food. The vegetables were not only abundant but fresh looking and cooked thoroughly. There was also plenty of white strips of chicken to enjoy with all those vegetables. My only negative was that for it to be that piping hot, it had to be microwaved. Not sure if it was done in a wok earlier and then reheated, but that is my assumption. I am in search of good egg rolls. I travel frequently and like to try different Chinese restaurants in different cities across the U.S. Good egg rolls are very difficult to find. They are either too greasy, insufficient filling, or just lacking flavor. These were not greasy at all. So not greasy I found myself wondering if they used a convection oven/ air fry oven. A+ for that, but C grade for the filling. The filling did not have much flavor overall and with the shell being dry, the filling needed moisture. Oh well, the search continues. They do have seating for around 50 people and it appeared clean from my brief exposure to the restaurant. The woman at the counter was friendly and spoke perfect English. The price for the food was fine, not too expensive and not cheap. I would return to Chopsticks to try out other items next time I am in Rochester.
