As a college student I order from Sushi Osaka often. Their delivery is pretty fast, about an hour or so. The food is great and the people are very friendly! My favorites are the California rolls, Gyoza and of course Bubble Tea. They have multiple flavors of Bubble Tea so you'll never get bored of the selection! Ugh. We were looking forward to great Japanese food based on the reviews, but were so disappointed when everything was terrible tasting and expensive. Fried vegetable gyoza should not taste fishy. Agidashi tofu should not be slimy and taste horrible. Chase ramen should not look like it was from a supermarket, cooked carelessly and dumped into a container. Not recommended at all. read more

Note to future self: never order from here. I've never gone to the restaurant but instead ordered a delivery. This review is for the quality of the food, not service. The food is careless to the extend of being disrespectful. All the sushi were mushy, wet, with too much mayonnaise, too little flavor. The dumplins and the grilled makarel were uneatable. The kolbi tang soup, which is beef in a clear beef broth, had about three tiny pieces of beef. The rest were huge chunks of boiled carrots. There was way too much oil in the broth of a clear soup. The only thing that the family of three ate was plain rice. The meal costed 70 usd. Be ready to make your own peanut butter sandwiches if you order from here. read more

Ate here twice in the last week. I had veggie sushi and tried out a Korean dish. Both were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Plus the atmosphere is nice and the staff is very friendly. I was hesitant in writing this review, because I only ordered once and I typically like to give restaurants a few tries before writing. But I thought about it, and for the betterment of the community and perhaps the restaurant, i provide this warning. Ordered the ton katsu bento box that comes with a variety of sides. Here's my breakdown of each part. Ton Katsu (my choice) - Might as well be called a fried panko box cuz that was about all there was with literally (and I mean literally) 2-3mm thick pork cutlet. It was honestly impressive at how thin they were able to make this pork cutlet. Minimal meat flattened to maximize surface area to look like a lot of food. Probably spent about 5 minutes taking off one side of panko on each piece and then putting two pieces together.... Other items that come with the bento box: Tempura - not bad actually. batter is decent. BUT they only give you vegetables and kani stick (no shrimp tempura, like plum tree in collegetown) Dumplings - gyoza and shumai are both deep fried. like deep deep fried with extra oil as you bite into it. I was hoping the shumai would be steamed (again, like plum tree). it would help balance out the grease of the other food Fried scallop - not bad. but it's absolutely the kind you get frozen in the supermarket. Seaweed salad - about a tablespoon, with meh flavor Green salad - decent California roll - ok i guess, but the rice is off. doesn't have the right consistency that sushi rice should have. Miso soup and rice - good, your standard miso soup and your standard rice tldr - it was ok. HEAVY on the grease. Same price point as Plum Tree's bento box but lower quality of food, unless maybe you like your food dripping with oil and your california roll mushy? don't get me wrong, it's edible. but i doubt i'll be ordering from there again. read more

I've been here twice, once on a Sunday around 4ish when there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant and it still took about 15-20 minutes to be greeted and given water. After the waitress took our order it was another 30-40 minutes to receive our food. We had only ordered sushi rolls so nothing should have taken 40 minutes to prepare. The second time I went with my boyfriend and my two friends. We went during happy hour (1-3:30ish) and got there around 2:30. The sushi rolls are 50% off during this time so we were excited for half off rolls. It took almost the entire hour to get our orders taken (we think the waitress may have been trying to wait out the happy hour special so we would have to pay full price). Either way, again, it was ridiculously bad service. The food was good and the price point is reasonable but the service at this restaurant makes the experience less than average. The food is good if you order it and have it delivered though. You get the good food without having the headache of going to the restaurant. read more
