Best sushi at the beaches! For Covid they have a great to-go menu and minimal contact set up. I love the dynamite roll, which is baked salmon with spicy sauce on top. The shrimp tempura with salmon on top is also great, lots of flavor. The Philadelphia roll is my brothers favorite, it has crab and cream cheese and I like the teriyaki chicken roll, which has avocado in it. The chicken is cooked and tender and the avocado balances it out with teriyaki sauce on top. The edamame is great and super fresh! The portion is very big so it can be shared to feed multiple people. We got 4 sushi entrees and a side for less than $30, so it's not too expensive. I think it's a great value. Love this place, definitely a local staple. read more

We were seated after a 10 minute wait but it was totally worth it. We both started out with a miso soup and after much deliberation ordered the tiger roll, caterpillar roll, black dragon and chefs roll. All were fresh and tasty-sushi perfection. The star of the show was definitely the tiger roll. It paired pineapple, cream cheese and salmon. It was our wild card pick of the night that quickly became a favorite. The sweetness of the pineapple goes great with the creaminess of the cream cheese and the delicious salmon. The prices at this place are awesome! They charge very fairly for the price and portion of the rolls. These rolls are definitely bigger than most sushi places in the area! For a party of two we paid $30! That is hard to beat! read more

Got takeout from here since it's takeout only. I ordered Yellowtail nigiri, and two pieces of Salmon sashimi. My partner had the Katsu chicken hibachi with clear soup, steamed white rice, and ginger salad. However, the sauce that came with the Katsu Chicken tasted like straight BBQ sauce. We used the sauce because the chicken was SUPER dry. But everything else tasted really good. The tails were super easy to take off the tempura shrimp that was in the black dragon roll. The rolls stayed together because the jasmine rice was really sticky, which I enjoy. Less likely to have a piece of the roll come undone. I would definitely try to eat here in the future and hopefully they open up after the pandemic calms down since it was takeout only. The food is so good! So far I've been 3 times and gotten different things each time and I haven't been disappointed! My recommendation for appetizer would be the Krab Rangoons. Definitely get the miso soup! And for rolls if you want no rice the cold roll is amazing! It's wrapped in cucumber. For cooked rolls I recommend the Monster Roll! It has friend krab on top and tempura shrimp inside. The ambiance of the place is nice, I like the little 2 person booths they have and the decor. The service is good because everyone helps out with the tables. I always forget to take pictures of the food so I'll update the review with photos next time! read more

This is my favorite sushi restaurant of all time. Everything always tastes fresh and they have this rolled piece of heaven called the monster roll. It is undoubtedly in my top 3 things to eat on the planet. I even cheated on a preop diet to eat this thing (all is well, I didn't die). They have a bunch of delicious specialty rolls and their rainbow, tuna, and salmon rolls are top notch here. This is one of Jax Beaches' best kept secrets. Seriously some of the best sushi I have had. I always get the caterpillar roll which is topped with a mound of seaweed salad-probably my fav one here. Today I also tried the EST roll plus cream cheese- full of flavor, would def get again. The crag ragoons are here which is the main reason I go back. They are filled with a good amount of stuffing and always piping hot when I get them. Today I was quoted 20 mins for pick up and it was ready when I got there. The dining room looked to be about 75% full when I arrived, 12pm on Sunday. Normally they tend to run slow so keep that in mind when you go visit. Def worth checking out! read more

After work, before grocery shopping, I finally got the chance to come here. I sat down at got a glass of water while I checked out the menu. Typical of me, I ordered the filet mignon, which also came with chicken, rice, noodles, veggies, soup, and salad. Everything came out ok, except the chicken. I don't know what cut it was, but it was very low quality. I, being super picky with food, was not too pleased. They also gave me fried rice instead of steamed rice, but they quickly corrected that mistake. There was a bit of a language barrier with some employees. They were friendly, though, and checked on me often. The food was so-so. I should have ordered the sushi instead, hence the name to this place. Live and learn.
