Great location, fresh delicious sushi, and BYOB! We made a reservation for a Friday night, and the place quickly filled up. It's small but cute inside with a nice sushi bar to watch the chefs. Our service however took a long time throughout the night - we even had to say something because our food took so long. Other than that, the experience and food was stellar. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine that we brought with the meal as well. No corkage fee! We started with the sashimi appetizer, ginger salad, and some rolls. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We also tried the toro nigiri, which melted in our mouths. We also had to add on the spicy miso ramen - it's a huge portion. It was flavorful with delicious noodles, though I wish it wasn't ground meat. Prices were great overall too! Definitely recommend this spot for your sushi and ramen fix. read more

Cute little spot, nothing fancy but very cozy. Has a lot of rolls, ramen, appetizers to choose from. I did the fire phoenix and the King Kong . For me The fire phoenix was the winner ' so delish not over powering and is baked ! 10/10. Glad I stumbled upon this place located in west loop. Service is prompt and the food doesn't take long. Our usual sushi place no longer serves sushi, so we decided to try this after getting their menu in the mail. They have amazing rolls. We got the snakebite, Mexican maki, spider maki, and the King Kong rolls. Snakebite was really good and spicy. King Kong is deep fried, so it takes a little bit longer, but the crust is great. I love the location because it's walking distance from where I live. I you love driving, there's always a spot right outside the restaurant where you can just park and run in to pick up your order. Cozy and intimate sushi place with friendly servers. The servers were attentive and professional. The sushi rolls were good especially with the portion of rice and filling. The sashimi was decent. We were a little disappointed that some of the pieces were still frozen. I understand to keep the fish fresh it needs to be kept in the freezer but it's not pleasant to bite in a hunk of ice which really takes away from the taste of the sashimi.
