I've never gone in but I've ordered here many times and the sushi has yet to disappoint. The prices are a little extreme in my opinion but it's worth ordering every now and then.

I'm not sure what some of these negative reviews are about because I've eaten here at least 5 times and everything has been very good! Today I had the Honolulu Roll (crab inside and seared salmon topped w/ spicy mayo) and spicy tuna roll and both were excellent. I'm sure they are getting the fish from H-Mart literally next door, so it's always been fresh and tasty as well as reasonably priced.

The excitement wore off this is my second visit within a week, I order the exact same thing beef undon and baked mussels . The food came out hot and udon I wish you ask for more noodles or more whatever in the soup. They did have some specials combo udon and sushi but it it was the soup noodle only and the rolll. I did see that there is a stand alone restaurant in the area maybe I'll hit that up and they more options, but this was in hmart food court. I like it but I don't luv it , it hit the spot but no grand slam.. service is basic you order they make it and you pay and nowadays leave a tip before you eat. I would go back to this again no problem but it wouldn't go out of my way to just eat at this place again and not shop btw the mussels have what appear to me and I'm not a chef but the sauce tasted like thousand island dressing don't get me wrong I like it. But not my favorite was putting my soup in the soup did you see the pic

Food - 3.5: I had the beef udon noodles, but they didn't seem fully cooked. However, the broth was amazing, and the beef was great. Service: Not rude, but not very helpful either. They mostly let you do your own thing--definitely no small talk. Ambiance: It's an H Mart food court, so it's busy. The chairs aren't comfortable, but the atmosphere is interesting.

I know that near us in Mill Creek there is a Sushi Spott and I believe that the Sushi Spott we came across at the H-Mart food court is the same owners. So being one of the few places we haven't tried in the food court (so far every place we've eaten there has been pretty damn good) and being in the mood for sushi it was time to try the Sushi Spott before doing a little shopping in the H-Mart. The Sushi Spott did not disappoint on several levels. First off service was fast and efficient. It's not "fast food" fast, but fast enough for the quality and amount of food you get, plus it's made to order, so fresh and hot. But once you get it you won't be disappointed, I know we weren't. Second the food, price to quantity ratio was excellent. Prices were on par if not slightly better than some places, we didn't walk away hungry AND the quality and taste was SPOTT on....see what I did there. There is ample seating in the food court and once you submit your order you are given a pager so you know when your order is ready for pick up. The area is clean and bustling with folks like us enjoying a good meal. The sushi combo platter I ordered was nice and fresh (no fishy smell), as was the spicy sashimi bowl my wife ordered. Good wasabi, the kind that hits you in the back of the nose. We were definitely taken aback as the size of her bowl and amount of food was huge. The spicy sauce was so good and....spicy, but not so spicy it hurts, just enough spice for a nice sweat, clears the pores you know? But one of the big surprise for me was the spam musubi I ordered. First off, this is probably one of the best versions of a musubi I've ever had. The rice to spam ration was seriously SPOTT ON! And the price for this beautiful piece of work was on par if better than most. This was a quality musubi, the SPAM slice was maybe an inch with the rice bed a perfect amount, just a tick thicker. The sauce had perfect placement so as not to make the nori soggy, but you still get the taste with each bite. This musubi was made with thoughtfulness and love I tell ya. Other places I've had here in Washington, not so much. After you have this one, it will definitely ruin other places for you. You won't look at other places the same. You'll hold other's to this one's standard. The Sushi Spott musubi is definitely better than the one I had at the T-Mobile Park. That one was a joke with a sliver of spam ( I swear maybe 1/4" if not a tick thinner) and a bed of rice 5x that of the spam. Kona Kitchen's musubi, while good, is not not as good as the Sushi Spott musubi. Kona Kitchen's musubi is better than the T-Mobile musubi, but not as good as the ones I make or have had in Hawai'i. And I saw that they sell SPAM musubi's in the Town and Country Market Mill Creek deli (formally Central Market). Yeah, WAAAAY better than that musubi. Hell the Sushi Spott musubi is better than the one's I've made only because I use a SPAM slicer so my slices are uniform, but next time I make thicker slices! I know I kinda went off on the musubi, but next to a good loco moco I'm kind of a musubi nut, but everything we had there was just outstanding. Quality sushi with out the fancy sushi restaurant prices and portions. And now we are motivated to try the Sushi Spott in Mill Creek, otherwise we just go back to H-Mart. But don't take my word for it. Give it a go the next time you are at the H-Mart in Lynnwood/Alderwood. Funny story, I'll make this quick. After we picked up our order a couple in the food court asked us where we got our food so we told them what we ordered and where. In addition to the sushi and bowl, they were impressed with the musubi. They ordered from the Sushi Spott and as we were finishing up our meal they looked our way and gave a big thumbs up with a smile. So nice to help folks with their food decision. Hopefully this helps you too! Mahalo!

Middling H-Mart food court sushi and ramen shop serving up rolls, sashimi, poke and ramen. I ordered a poke salad, which featured a decent amount of salmon poke, and miso soup. The salmon had a tasty sauce, but was overwhelmed by a large amount of iceberg lettuce and raw onion. Iceberg lettuce certainly has its place, but its crunchiness and fibrous texture just didn't work here. Anyway, I'll need to try some other offerings another day, but my first experience here was just okay, at best. (2.5 stars).

Fuschia fish... 14. Tuna Tataki Sashimi
    Ash A.

Based on Yelp and Door Dash reviews, I gave this place a shot. Succinctly, I should have just stuck to my tried and true faves. I picked easy things - tuna tataki, spicy tuna roll and even their musubi. (Hawaii girl here - what can I say?) The tataki was an off-putting fuchsia color (no joke) and just didn't taste right. Usually happens when they sear frozen/treated ahi (some sort of chemical reaction to the preservation treatment). Most definitely did not look at all like the fresh-looking pics online. Spicy tuna was incredibly fishy and not worth the BOGO deal. I ate 2 pieces and just couldn't bring myself to go beyond that. As for the musubi, I can't believe I actually encountered one I couldn't eat. Pretty hard to mess it up to that extent - it's spam, rice and nori. Even without sauce it's still good. This, however, was not what I grew up with. The spam-rice ratio was perfect, nori was actually roasted crisp, and the sauce had potential...BUT they use sushi rice, which gives the whole thing a funky sour taste that does NOT belong in a musubi. So sad about this - it seriously could have been one of the better musubis out here in WA. Ah well, live and learn...for $50. :(

    Newly renovated front.

They have changed their name from Oshima to Sushi Spott. The newly renovated place is clean menu signs are well lighted and clear. Sushi selections are wonderful and wide array of other Japanese cuisine. Price is fairly reasonable and sushi portions are good. My only comment to me the front cashier strikes me as snooty or "selective " with the customers she engages with. I have been there many times and she seem to always feel like she's rushing you to get your order. If you don't mind this kind of service, this is a great sushi to go place located inside H Mart in Lynnwood.

The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great. I especially like the sashimi combo.

Located in Alderwood Plaza, there's plenty of parking nearby within walking distance…read more I'd say Sushi Hana is one of my favorite conveyor-belt sushi spots in the Lynnwood area. I usually come here 2-3 times a year when I'm craving "fast" sushi. Since they've been open, I haven't had a bad experience or poor-quality food. If there's one small drawback, it's that some staff (not all) aren't always attentive with things like water refills. That said, service here is fairly minimal by design--staff mainly help with drink refills, clearing plates, and bringing out items that the conveyor or robot can't deliver. The ambiance is fast-paced and casual. You order from a tablet, and your food arrives via conveyor belt to your table. Most diners aren't here longer than 1-2 hours. It can get a bit loud due to close seating and the conveyor/robot activity, but it's nothing that takes away from the overall experience. As long as the food and service stay consistent, I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in the mood for quick, convenient sushi. TL;DR: Reliable spot for quick, good sushi with a fun conveyor setup. Service is minimal and can be hit or miss, but the food keeps me coming back.

It's definitely not the best sushi in the world (I would give that between 3 to 5 stars depending on the item), but the convenience and value just can't be beat, hence the 5 stars. Also, I take people with kids here because the entertainment value is so high with the water delivery robot and the automatic track delivery system. It's a fun ambiance - like we're living in the future. My favorites are the seared garlic salmon, the french roll, and the negi hama roll. For the hot foods, it's hands down the oden udon and the chicken katsu donburi. Definitely highly recommended.

I cannot give this fine restaurant enough stars. I've been frequenting Ryu Nakano's sushi…read morerestaurants for many years and it's some of the best sushi I've ever had. We reserve well in advance and mostly sit at the sushi bar. The space is on the smaller side but I've seen hopeful walk-ins be seated (I've also seen many turned away--I suggest reservations.) Service has always been stellar. We normally enjoy a salmon flight, a tuna flight, the kelp-cured scallops (must be ordered in advance) and whatever else strikes our fancy or Nakano-San recommends. It's always spectacular! I find the nigiri to be just about perfect--just enough rice to offset the fresh taste of the fish. There is plenty on the menu beyond sushi but we admit to coming here for one reason only so I can't speak to much else (although the green salad is very nice, as is dessert.) Plenty of wine, cocktail and sake options. I remember the many years we didn't have a sushi restaurant in downtown Edmonds so I never take an evening here for granted. We are fortunate to have Nakano-San as a part of our community. Check it out if you haven't yet, and enjoy!

I would say that many parts lived up to the high praises while others did not unfortunately :( The service was amazing! The staff were very attentive and kind. We were seated quickly and were not left waiting long for any part of our dinning experience which was very nice. We both got 2 portions of the 11 piece omakase ($53) and the great pacific northwest roll ($20) to share. The omakase offered good variety and came with an explanation of each cut of fish which was nice. We both enjoyed everything just fine but were left a little disappointed with the quality. Because of all the great reviews and the price point, I think we just were expecting to enjoy our meal much more than we did. The fish quality was not poor by any means but just not that good. The roll also lacked a bit of flavor as well :( I don't know if we just went on an off night or not, and I am hopeful that might be true. The ambiance was nice and balanced, the tables were spaced apart well, making the hum of the restaurant nice but not too much. I don't think we would be back due to the overall quality of our meal but it think it is worth a stop if you are craving sushi in the area.
