Omg this cute little place is a hidden gem. Craving sushi and ordered sushi A comes with 8pcs and a roll. They were quick. Waited in the car and the nice gentlemen came out when the food was ready. The sushi is worth the price. Highly recommend and will come back to try other items on the menu!
Rating: 3.5 My son found this place and he asked us to get some sushi for his birthday. We decided to get Sushi, sashimi & roll combo X-Large. It is priced at $140 comes with sushi 20 pieces, sashimi 30% and 7 regular rolls which we can't choose which rolls we prefer. This place is a small store that is set up for pickup only style. No tables and no seats. It seems like a family restaurant. If we are not mistaken, the owner is Korean and he is pretty friendly. The food comes in a very big tray and they look good. Sashimi is fresh but the rolls are not worth the price. About half of the rolls are just simple cucumbers and crabmeat imitation. Rice is also a bit hard. We liked that they use good quality wasabi and one of the sushi types is using something like Korean gochujang sauce as toppings. We thought the price is slightly too high for the portions and the taste. We might or might not go back again depending on how much the price will be next time we are looking to get some sushi.
Fresh, fResH, FRESH! It's a shame that this little hole in the wall is just for takeout because they would be good as a sitdown restaurant. But I'll do their takeout any day of the week when they're open and I will most certainly ENJOY! They have parking spaces in front facing Northern Blvd, though they may be a challenge to get in and out, but you can also park in the larger area on the side of Carvel also to run in to grab your sushi. The front door is barricaded by a table where you can put in your order or pick up after phoning in. The gentleman servicing orders is very kind and pleasant. Notice that there is also a wall of fame board that lists the customers that have given them favorable reviews. Our first try with a bunch of specialty maki rolls (Crazy, Brian, Rainbow & Eel Futomaki) and Eel Rice Bowl were so good, we made it a point to order again the following week. I don't know who Brian is, but he makes a pretty good maki roll with salmon over spicy tuna and drizzled with spicy mayo. Going to have to try out all the other specialty rolls also. On our second visit, we ordered the XL nigiri, sashimi and maki combo party platter for a Thanksgiving get together and it was a hit! It disappeared in less than 15 minutes. Miso soup is included also and I haven't figured out why, but each order comes with a small bag of Doritos or Fritos. Quick Update - 12/29/22: On our last visit, we met the sushi chef/owner. He remembered us from when we used to go to Sushi Family in Little Neck. What a small world! We used to be regular customers there and we were sushi-less for a while after they closed. We are so glad he decided to open Sushi Enjoy!
Not particularly fresh, done well or priced all that well, in fact it was all a little average to below average for a slightly above average price. I ordered a party tray for 2-3 people with sashimi, sushi, nigiri and some rolls. Came back home with the tray, as this is a take out spot only, and proceeded to eat with much excitement. As the meal progressed the excitement turned into apathy as everything was just average on all fronts. Probably won't be back as the limited ordering options and price makes this place unpalatable for what it offers
The owners are so nice. Some sushi spots don't really treat you well if you're a younger customer but they treat everyone the same. Always includes a bag of chips for our son and also gives us a little extra something on the side. Sushi and sashimi is always fresh and they take the time to make every platter delight. I would definitely recommend!
Extremely grateful to have discovered this sushi spot during quarantine. I've been craving sushi and this place really delivered. My boyfriend and I ordered the sushi, sashimi, and roll combo (feeds up to 3 people). I appreciate how the person who took my order took the time to confirm my order. During covid, they set up precautions to ensure safe transactions. A pick up window was set up and I love how they spray down the credit cards with alcohol. Our order came with a container of miso soup and a small ice package over the food to keep it cold. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious - definitely get a bang for your buck.
Very delicious sushi! Taste was very fresh and rice to fish portion was perfect. Service was great too. Will definitely be coming back.
This is my Aunt's favorite sushi platter restaurant but not my brother's. His is Northern Sushi nearby. So I will be comparing them. Pricing-wise, they are similar. Enjoy offers more size options. They offer the same styles with Enjoy offerings a bit more variety. Enjoy had the Saba with Capelin Roe and real Fluke, while Northern had Masago in their platters. Northern served larger pieces than Enjoy so I can see why my brother likes it. Meanwhile, Enjoy uses different sauces so the rolls all taste distinct and more flavorful. Cut-wise, Northern had better cuts. The Enjoy's sashimi came in unusual shapes and were thinner than how it is served in the restaurants. Ultimately, you get relatively the same amount of food. I liked them both and would go back to them.
I have been craving sushi for a while now and pass by this place daily coming home from work. Today I finally decided to check it out. Its to go only and really cute. I went inside and looked at the menu. Right away The Crazy Roll caught my eye. It combined a shrimp tempura and spicy crab roll. I also ordered a spicy salmon roll. When I got home I tore into it. Omg both rolls were so yummy. With a roll you also get miso soup and house salad. Each roll had 8 pieces. The salmon roll was $6, the Crazy roll was $12. Definitely worth it. I will 100% be going there for my sushi cravings especially since its walking distance from my house.
The fish was fresh and the men worked in the counter was nice. They hurried up my order when I showed up 20 mins earlier than what they told me! Will come back

Hmmm the reviews for this spot seem to be off... I've lived out here for just over a decade now. First time trying this place. Found it online. Oddly there is no way to order online. When I drove there and ordered in person the guy said they don't take online orders. I can appreciate not using door dash or GrubHub or any of those companies. Splitting profits with them for a restaurant can be tough. Still there should be a way to simply order directly with them off their website. Anyway, I ordered the super tuna roll, eel avocado roll, miso soup, and avocado salad. The soup was good but tiny. Came in a 8oz cup with probably only 6oz of soup. So 2-3 sips and it's gone... The salad was great od get that again. Super tuna roll.... Um it was ok but didn't really have a kick to it... I would not get that again. The roll wasn't cut evenly. There was even this 1 sushi piece that looked like 2. Eel avocado roll... just wasn't a fan This place was a bit pricey for what I got. Paid about $40... Not worth it. My other sushi place this would be probably just under $30. The people inside seem nice. Everyone looked a little stressed though. Anyway, just wasn't worth the money for what I got. read more

Grabbed some take out from here. I ordered the sashimi, sushi, and roll combo for 2 and a spicy tuna roll. Order came with spicy salmon roll, squid sashimi, salmon, tuna The fish was fresh but the cuts were very butchered. Some were thick some were end scraps. Many uneven cuts almost as if the knife is dull. Spicy mayo had too much Sriracha unlike normal sushi restaurants Overall, it's not as worth it vs our go-to sushi spot. My local mom & pop sushi spot that's around the block from me. They've been here for the past few years, and survived the pandemic. I love their food quality, great and fast service, and reasonable prices especially their lunch specials. A nice hidden gem on Northern Blvd, thats easy to overlook. But if you're in this area, and looking to for that sushi fix. This is the place! read more

I've been craving sushi for the past two months in quarantine and trusted the reviews on this place. I splurged on a sushi lunch special ($22) and the x-small sashimi platter ($40) and ordered ahead on phone. The man who picked up was super pleasant and repeated back my order and took time to ensure we were on the same page. He gave me a 20min estimated time and the whole thing was ready when we drove over in 30. The pickup experience was top-notch, both clean and seamless (pick up window only, credit card sprayed down, air purifier, and hand sani). Most importantly, the food was presented beautifully and it was fresh and delicious! A little ice disk came on top of my sashimi platter to keep it cold and they included miso soups. This store clearly cares about food quality and putting customers first! I'll definitely be ordering again soon. read more

Nice little Sushi spot but it's more for take out rather than sit down. There's literally only 2 tables to sit and with only 3 chairs per/table to boot. Their specialty according to the menu options seems to be making platters of all sizes and offering rolls galore. While they did have chirashi and sashimi on the menu, it was literally that...one of each item. There was little to no wiggle room to order things a la carte and it was not meant to be so customizable. Seems they have in mind, a preset menu and options. I did happen upon this place on my way to another take out spot across the way. I thought I'd pop in and see. Ordered one Sashimi dinner to go. BUT I did ask for it to be all salmon (not mixed or chef's choice). This dinner was intended for my kiddo so that's all the fish he wanted. Great deal, for $20, got 18 slices of salmon sashimi, rice, salad, and a miso soup. The slices were cut smaller than expected (but this is typical of many Korean owned Sushi joints near our hood). And in case it was just my order, it was not - I noticed the table next to me had ordered and ate in. The sushi dinner this person had also were smaller than usual pieces. So my gut tells me, order the platters, they look more worth it than these individual plates. I'll return but for the shared platters only. read more

The sushi here is AMAZING! Its very hard to find a good sushi spot in the area but thank god I found this place. The fish is very fresh and unlike other places it doesn't taste frozen. We usually get the large sashimi platter and another medium sized plater of rolls and sushi. It is enough to feed a group of five people. The service here is great, the person making the sushi behind the counter is very caring of your needs and is willing to go beyond to make your food come out delicious! He takes his time making the sushi and it always comes out prefect. Also the old lady is so nice and came out to my car to load the platter of fish. The parking can get crazy at times since it's located in a big street with busy traffic. But they do have couple of parking spots in the front but don't expect it to be open all the time. I would recommend calling and picking up your food an hour before since it does take some time to make and prepare the food. read more

New favorite to-go sushi place thanks to Kat C. I ordered on New Year's Eve and was quoted about an hour wait time for pick up. I guess it's usually a lot faster but the lady said they were busy due to the holiday. I ordered the sushi, sashimi, roll platter combo for two and an eel over rice. The combo was a decent size and all the fish tasted fresh. I asked for more salmon instead of tuna and they happily obliged. I loved that they packaged the platter in a box and tied up all nicely with a red ribbon. They also gave us a container of miso soup and crab meat salad. Not sure if that always comes with the platter but it was a nice tasty extra. They also supplied plates, cutlery, and soy sauce. Don't worry about parking here as there is a lot. Makes it very convenient to go in to pick up your food without worrying about the meter on Northern read more

We ordered the 10 regular rolls and 2 specialty rolls combo because I got to select what we wanted. We also ordered an extra small sushi and roll combo. We asked for more salmon and they were very nice to accommodate. The food was amazing and super fresh. I ordered two days in advanced for a holiday weekend. My guests really enjoyed the food and I couldn't ask for a better experience. I am so happy I tried this place. We got plenty of soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. The owner even gave us an extra order of roll and a snack for my 9 year old son who was helping me carry the food. Parking was easy and they take credit card. Definite will order again. read more

Prices gone up since covid. Found this hidden gem on yelp and decided to try it because many people rave about how fresh the fish was. It is indeed very fresh. But the fish was sliced small. But the deal was still a lot cheaper than regular restaurant sashimi's. Definitely recommend. read more
