Sushi, sashimi & roll combo X-large $140 (as of April 2025)
    Phen O.

Rating: 3.5 My son found this place and he asked us to get some sushi for his birthday. We decided to get Sushi, sashimi & roll combo X-Large. It is priced at $140 comes with sushi 20 pieces, sashimi 30% and 7 regular rolls which we can't choose which rolls we prefer. This place is a small store that is set up for pickup only style. No tables and no seats. It seems like a family restaurant. If we are not mistaken, the owner is Korean and he is pretty friendly. The food comes in a very big tray and they look good. Sashimi is fresh but the rolls are not worth the price. About half of the rolls are just simple cucumbers and crabmeat imitation. Rice is also a bit hard. We liked that they use good quality wasabi and one of the sushi types is using something like Korean gochujang sauce as toppings. We thought the price is slightly too high for the portions and the taste. We might or might not go back again depending on how much the price will be next time we are looking to get some sushi.

Fresh, fResH, FRESH! It's a shame that this little hole in the wall is just for takeout because they would be good as a sitdown restaurant. But I'll do their takeout any day of the week when they're open and I will most certainly ENJOY! They have parking spaces in front facing Northern Blvd, though they may be a challenge to get in and out, but you can also park in the larger area on the side of Carvel also to run in to grab your sushi. The front door is barricaded by a table where you can put in your order or pick up after phoning in. The gentleman servicing orders is very kind and pleasant. Notice that there is also a wall of fame board that lists the customers that have given them favorable reviews. Our first try with a bunch of specialty maki rolls (Crazy, Brian, Rainbow & Eel Futomaki) and Eel Rice Bowl were so good, we made it a point to order again the following week. I don't know who Brian is, but he makes a pretty good maki roll with salmon over spicy tuna and drizzled with spicy mayo. Going to have to try out all the other specialty rolls also. On our second visit, we ordered the XL nigiri, sashimi and maki combo party platter for a Thanksgiving get together and it was a hit! It disappeared in less than 15 minutes. Miso soup is included also and I haven't figured out why, but each order comes with a small bag of Doritos or Fritos. Quick Update - 12/29/22: On our last visit, we met the sushi chef/owner. He remembered us from when we used to go to Sushi Family in Little Neck. What a small world! We used to be regular customers there and we were sushi-less for a while after they closed. We are so glad he decided to open Sushi Enjoy!

Not particularly fresh, done well or priced all that well, in fact it was all a little average to below average for a slightly above average price. I ordered a party tray for 2-3 people with sashimi, sushi, nigiri and some rolls. Came back home with the tray, as this is a take out spot only, and proceeded to eat with much excitement. As the meal progressed the excitement turned into apathy as everything was just average on all fronts. Probably won't be back as the limited ordering options and price makes this place unpalatable for what it offers

The owners are so nice. Some sushi spots don't really treat you well if you're a younger customer but they treat everyone the same. Always includes a bag of chips for our son and also gives us a little extra something on the side. Sushi and sashimi is always fresh and they take the time to make every platter delight. I would definitely recommend!

Extremely grateful to have discovered this sushi spot during quarantine. I've been craving sushi and this place really delivered. My boyfriend and I ordered the sushi, sashimi, and roll combo (feeds up to 3 people). I appreciate how the person who took my order took the time to confirm my order. During covid, they set up precautions to ensure safe transactions. A pick up window was set up and I love how they spray down the credit cards with alcohol. Our order came with a container of miso soup and a small ice package over the food to keep it cold. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious - definitely get a bang for your buck.

Very delicious sushi! Taste was very fresh and rice to fish portion was perfect. Service was great too. Will definitely be coming back.

This is my Aunt's favorite sushi platter restaurant but not my brother's. His is Northern Sushi nearby. So I will be comparing them. Pricing-wise, they are similar. Enjoy offers more size options. They offer the same styles with Enjoy offerings a bit more variety. Enjoy had the Saba with Capelin Roe and real Fluke, while Northern had Masago in their platters. Northern served larger pieces than Enjoy so I can see why my brother likes it. Meanwhile, Enjoy uses different sauces so the rolls all taste distinct and more flavorful. Cut-wise, Northern had better cuts. The Enjoy's sashimi came in unusual shapes and were thinner than how it is served in the restaurants. Ultimately, you get relatively the same amount of food. I liked them both and would go back to them.

Delicious, very fresh, and great customer service( very polite) . I'm most definitely going back to pick up more sushi thank you !

The fish was fresh and the men worked in the counter was nice. They hurried up my order when I showed up 20 mins earlier than what they told me! Will come back

My local mom & pop sushi spot that's around the block from me. They've been here for the past few years, and survived the pandemic. I love their food quality, great and fast service, and reasonable prices especially their lunch specials. A nice hidden gem on Northern Blvd, thats easy to overlook. But if you're in this area, and looking to for that sushi fix. This is the place!

Super easy to call ahead of time for a specific pick up time. Service was friendly and sushi was good. They packed it with ice to keep the sushi cold which was awesome. Would definitely go back for my larger orders.

Great option for take out sushi, fresh and good options. Pieces are on the smaller side compared to other places. But still decent enough.

The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.

We are very familiar with the area and must have walked passed this neatly tucked away gem without ever noticing it. Our son had mentioned that he and his friends have been going to a sushi place near Asian Jewel, our former dim sum go to place. When we sat down to order, my wife and I were quite impressed by how clean and cozy the restaurant was. Kind of on the small side with a few tables on the ground floor level. The menu offered cooked food as well as fresh sushi. We decided to start with the sushi & sashimi combo. They also offered a sushi or sashimi a la carte menu where you can choose to order by the piece. I believe that if you choose one of their standard menu sushi or sashimi orders and pay with cash, the a la carte price per piece of sushi / sashimi is only $1.35 / piece! Well we were famished and in addition to the sushi & sashimi plate we ordered two rounds of sushi & sashimi a la carte. Their salmon and yellow tail was so fresh and so scrumptious as was the sweet shrimp. The tuna was also very yummy and did not disappoint! When all was said and done we were quite happy with our experience with Yoi Sushi Japanese. I highly recommend Yoi if you're anywhere near Tangram Mall or Asian Jewel and have a hankering for yummy sushi. They also offer cooked food as well as ramen bowls.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. The chief was so friendly and took his time to explain each dish to us and also took time to chat with us which I thought was really nice especially since I have mainly been to "fast casual" omakase locations recently where they don't really chat with you. There was a good variety of appetizers, fish and dessert. The appetizer options were so unique and the platting was so pretty. The fish options were also very plentiful and I liked the topping that they put on top of each one, the rich was not as warm and soft as I would usually like it but they paired well with the fish. The portion sizes were also pretty large which I thought was nice especially since we were paying about $165 a person. There were the basic chutoro, salmon, otoro fish but no other fish was unique. There were only 13 courses and it felt that they were reusing ingredients because we had uni and caviar multiple times. One dish was uni, caviar, and white rice which felt like a cop out considering uni was a separate course. I did not need uni 3/13 courses provided as someone who enjoys uni. It was three oysters, similar to Crown Shy except I wasn't a huge fan of the flavoring here. I think a bit more kick was needed to enhance the flavor profile. The handroll set was pretty good, I liked the spicy tuna the best, then the salmon and then the yellowtail the least. In order, I'd probably give the spicy tuna a 9/10, salmon 8/10 and yellowtail 7/10. However, the tiramisu was fantastic, one of the best tiramisus I have had, creamy, good notes of coffee flavor and wasn't overly sweet. Our server was also very friendly, she showed us how to properly eat the handrolls which was nice. The place also has a nice vibe to it, very relaxing and not too loud or overly grand.
