    Let's go Dodgers!
    Erica H.

Yummy sushi, attentive service and the Dodger game was on! Here from out of town and I was convinced to come here thanks to the photos my Yelp buddies posted. They serve you good portions, reasonably priced and the fish is fresh....taste like butter.

Volcano cake, appetizer, and housemaid kimchi

I got the Volcano Cake appetizer and house made kimchi at the Carpinteria location and it was SCRUMPTIOUS! Keep in mind that this particular appetizer is only available at two out of four locations; Carpinteria and Santa Barbara locations. The service was excellent. They offered lemon with water as soon as I sat down. The views of the Santa Ynez Mountains are stunning.

Miso soup + seaweed salad = happy girl

First time in and wow! If you're looking for food to nourish the thyroid, heart and soul, look no further than their miso soup and seaweed salad. the seaweed salad was thick, hearty, and delicious! Miso soup was perfectly seasoned with more tofu than I've ever had in a soup. So grateful for spots like this! A simple salad like this gives the body an abundance of Iodine, prebiotics and overall high quantities of antioxidants. Thank you Sushi Teri!! Also the space was super clean, and fresh - and most importantly the service: our male waiter was a beautiful soul, and you can tell the others working are in an upbeat mood which was refreshing to be around. Ours especially was very kind. Will be back!

I love Sushi Teri. By far it's my favorite and most frequented Japanese restaurant! A locally owned restaurant, the food, service and restaurant setting is always top notch. This particular time I ordered a couple appetizers, the Seared Albacore and Hamachi Jalapeño. Both dishes were flavorful and the fish was of high quality! We decided get some rolls as well. The Dragon Roll, a personal favorite of mine, and the White Dragon. Again I loved each one of them and was very satisfied with the order. On top of that we split the vegetable tempura which I recommend. The dipping sauce and the crispy nice are a nice touch to some fresh vegetables. Sushi Teri is getting 5 stars but that's only because I can't give i

Sushi Teri is the to go place in Carpinteria, and let me tell you--the food was amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, which made our first visit extra special. The sushi and spicy ramen were excellent--I highly recommend it 100%!

Sushi Teri was such a wonderful experience! We were a mixed party of 8 (5 adults,2 teenagers & a kiddo) nearing closing time and with the restaurant quieting down, they cleared the large table at the front window promptly for us -even though there were other tables available.. they welcomed and took complete care of us all! food and drinks were quickly served. which we really appreciated as we were all Terribly Hungry AND THIRSTY! Everything was served with a smile and a quick chat. they were running-back and forth-as we were finishing plates and sakes & beers before they could even leave the table!! LOL!! Everything was delicious!! crispy tuna cakes, spicy edamame, seaweed salad, yellowtail carpaccio, pink cadallic, girls night out, a ramen and so many pieces of sushi and...ohhh im getting hungry just to remember!! Such fun and so YUM!! We will definitely be back when in carp! thank you so much Sushi Teri

The sushi lunch, with a spicy tuna roll, and salmon, tuna and yellow tail nigiri.

The place was nearly empty when I arrived at 12:45. There was one other table occupied. Large place, with plenty of seating, and ample natural light. The service was phenomenal--the wait staff was very responsive and food was delivered promptly. The food was, well, okay. I ordered the lunch sushi special, with a spicy tuna roll and standard nigiri fare (tuna, salmon, yellow fin). It was fine, but I've certainly had much better. Tea was from powdered base (not necessarily unusual for Japanese, but not as good as fresh brewed), and water was tepid, not hot. They had a couple of signs up advertising kimchi, so I got some of that to go with my meal. It was quite good, although I suspect they didn't make it there. All in all, reasonable food and great service. But not a place I'll rush back to.

Great sushi! I highly recommend this spot if you are coming down to Carpinteria. Owner and staff are really nice. Place was super relaxing and comfortable.

Today we had a chance to dine in Sushi Teri. It is a nice spot, with good service and decent food. I had a lunch special soup with pork belly and egg and thin noodles food was good, however quite expensive. Lunch special cost 18$ per plate, which is higher then average. Atmosphere is calm and nice.

I really enjoy their crunch rolls! It's my favorite. My dad got the Korean bbq entree and it was delicious. Love the cabbage salad. My husband got the ramen with pork and he said that he enjoyed it. Service was great! I wish they had better sake options and the large sake comes in what most are small bottles but aside from that we enjoyed the food

The vibe was classy and trendy but still lively. Such a pretty spot! The four of us shared a bunch of things. The Everybody Loves Raymond was my favorite roll. It had these little cubes of tuna on top that were almost like a mini poke bowl. SO good! The Crouching Tiger was another favorite. The rainbow and spicy tuna rolls were good too, just more classic. The crispy tuna nigiri was my favorite appetizer. Super fresh with perfectly crispy rice. We also loved the firecracker rock shrimp, which was light and crispy without being oily. We got the sauce on the side so the spice was totally manageable. But the GARLIC NOODLES!! Easily some of the best I've ever had. Buttery, garlicky, creamy and everyone at the table agreed they were amazing. The shrimp fried rice was great too, and they were able to make it non-spicy for us. We obviously did not have room for dessert, so we ordered it anyway The French vanilla crème brûlée was delicious, the green tea mochi was good once I got past the texture since it was my first mochi experience lol, and my sister said the tiramisu was the best she's ever had! Service slowed down a little after our entrées came out, but they were also extremely busy. Great food, gorgeous water views and such a fun dinner. I would absolutely come back. And I'm not sharing the garlic noodles next time.

We were the first table seated there, but the rest of the tables filled up quickly. The cocktail menu was great. I ordered a paper plane and my husband ordered a cabrillo, which was a smoky mescal drink. Peter, our server, was fantastic. Friendly and very helpful - I wanted sashimi, but didn't want 5 pieces each of the same fish. Peter suggested we order from the nigiri menu which is 2 pieces each, and make it sashimi style (no rice). This was a great option for us to sample 3 different types of fish (although a bit pricey imo - $16 toro, $10 yellow tail, $10 salmon). We also ordered the blistered shishito peppers ($11) but were surprised not to get a single spicy pepper. For rolls, we had the piranha ($20, my favorite) and Everybody Loves Raymond ($22). It was the perfect amount of food for us. No room for dessert. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at Oku. I thought the price point was a bit high compared to places we frequent in the San Francisco Bay Area, but it was our first time in Santa Barbara so this may be typical.

We were starved after a day in the mountains and luckily didn't have to wait too long for a space here at Full Moon. The restaurant can maybe only seat 30 ish people outside/inside at once and my girlfriend were sat at the bar which initially didn't excite me too much but being right in front of the sushi master was sweet as were handed each role by him as soon as it was prepared. My girlfriend and were instantly impressed with each item we ordered. The pork belly skewers and Ceviche came out first which was stark contrast between the steamy chewy tendy pork and the zesty rich ceviche with a lovely serving of crunchy red onion, cucumber, and a lovely mix of seafood. Also the cut rolls were premier. Quality of mint, fish, and cucumber and wasabi were all 10/10. If remi from ratatouille was Japanese, I would have thought he'd been in the chef's hat as he was preparing our food. All our plates were powerful in flavor, presentation and made us eager to return if ever in Ojai again. The service here is friendly, genuine, and efficient. I look forward to another chance to dine here again.
