We were back here and loved it as always! I loved the broth of the veggie miso ramen - comes with quite a few veggies like zucchini and spinach. I got extra seasoned egg and garlic oil. Forgot to ask them to make it spicy but it was very flavorful nevertheless. There is a review from two years ago saying that the menu is covered in something sticky. They couldn't address this in two years? The first thing we noticed when entering the place was the flies and the stickiness coming from the menu. The utensils were just not clean. When the waiter came to give us two bowls, he noticed something on one of the bowls and returned quickly with a new one. This tells me that the staff is aware that there is a cleanliness problem, BUT it is not being addressed. Next is the food. We ordered pork vermicelli noodles, ramen stir fry spicy with beef, takoyaki, and tempura roll. Tempura roll came in the most shrinkflation size possible. It was just so small! It also had carrots. For some reason... The vermicelli noodles and ramen stir fry came with a lot of lettuce. Not sure why the ramen stir fry comes with lettuce garnish but we thought it was odd since a lot of the lettuce seemed very old (I attached picture). If we could describe the ramen stir fry and vermicelli noodles in one sentence, it would be "something my dorm roommate cooked up on a Thursday night."Not terrible, not fantastic, but fills the stomach to carry me to Friday. In the end, $53 for vermicelli noodles with a couple slices of pork mixed with old lettuce, stir fry ramen of a very strange mix of vegetables, mini tempura rolls with carrots, and 6 takoyaki balls. read more

It's a nice little spot. It is off State St. Which I think it's nice since I feel like most restaurants on State St get pretty packed and busy. They have a big menu. A little overwhelming. I am so thrilled that years later I am back and today we had a fantastic meal & super awesome service. I'm always happy to provide a positive updated review when warranted and today Sachi completely hit the spot and will definitely be a restaurant worth revisiting in the near future. She raved about this spot and despite my reservations from eating here many years ago and not loving it, I figured enough time had passed that I wanted to give it another go. The restaurant itself is super easy to find and there was plenty of street parking on a weekday. Easy in and out. The restaurant itself is a pretty good size and very welcoming with decor and window views of the street. They had a good number of booths and regular tables. Also a couple of small tables outside. The service was super great and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We had two different servers, a male and female who helped us out throughout our dining experience. They were kind and helpful. I also appreciated that they were quick to refill drinks, clear plates, and when we asked for sides of different sauces they were on it! Service alone was a 5/5. Impressed with the menu here as it's pretty large. Great selection of some Thai based dishes, sushi, and ramen. Ramen is one of my favorite dishes and I just knew I had to try another ramen bowl here. The owner replied to my last review noting all of the effort that goes into their broth and I was really eager to give this dish another try. I opted for the chashu ramen. Let me tell you it was a fantastic bowl of ramen! Totally blew me away and now I really do see from my visit a few years ago it had to have been an off day as this ramen was perfectly rich, flavorful, and super umami. The pork belly chunks were huge and well cooked. I love spots that don't skim on the pork belly and this place is super generous with their portions. The marinated egg was perfection and I love that the server was able to bring me some traditional chili oil which isn't normally offered at the table unless you ask for it. Man was this ramen super good and an easy 5/5. I'm hooked! I will be back for this bowl of ramen because it really just had the best flavor and every bite was better then the last. If you are not a ramen enthusiast like myself, feel confident that they have a lot of other great dishes. My friends had the teriyaki chicken bowl and the chashu bowl and they looked really good. I was blown away by the entire experience. We were greeted immediately when walking in the door by restaurant owner Hugh. The service, food, and ambiance is in my opinion 5 star for sure! Sadly, I didn't take pictures because the food was so good I thought about it after we looked at our empty plates!! But I will say among the things we tried were, Beef Ramen, Sushi, Katsu Chicken, Soft Shell Crab Ramen are all EXCELLENT choices!! Food is fresh and packed with flavor. My kids gave it a 10/10! (Takoyaki: 75% | C) - The takoyaki is unfortunately a bit doughy and tastes frozen. The texture is adequately crispy, but the taste of the takoyaki could be improved with more sauce in abundance. (Spicy Tuna: 42.5% | F) - The $8 happy hour deal is already not a great deal. This is further compounded by the problem that the tuna tastes so unfresh that the salt and spice cannot hide this problem. (Soft Shell Crab Ramen: 95% | A) - As always, I think this is the standout dish in their menu. The crab is crispy and full of meat, with a nice miso based broth to develop flavor and richness in the broth. (Spicy Duck Ramen: 67.5% | D) - This dish was recommended by others to me. Unfortunately, I found the duck to be dry and the ramen to be overloaded with ginger, making it very unpleasant to consume; would not recommend. Roasted duck ramen 9.41/10- this was so good. I absolutely loved the broth. With a lot of ramen places when you ask them to make it extra spicy, they don't really but this place does. On top of that, they give so much protein (in my case I got duck) and they gave A LOT. The duck is also incredibly tender and so flavorful- wasn't dry at all which is really hard to find tbh. I thought the toppings were also really interesting. They put pickled ginger and bamboo shoots (the bamboo shoots were very soft and don't scratch your tongue) Crispy tofu 8.56/10- really good and flavorful, reminds me of agadashi tofu. I really liked the flavor and it was perfectly crisp, while the tofu was soft and melts in your mouth. If you're vegetarian, make sure you clarify that you don't want fish flakes on top! First time at Sachi ramen, and most certainly not my last. The service was phenomenal, and the menu is so expansive.
