Seriously, one of our go to favorite places. Both locations are great. The Kee Mao is fantastic. Volcano Chicken is also a favorite. The only thing I don't like at lunch time is the soup or salad that usually comes with your meal. The soup because I'm not a fan of miso (my hubby likes the soup though) and while the ginger salad dressing is tasty, sometimes the lettuce is a little wet... but that's just a little "extra" ... I come for the Kee Mao!! Lol And i eat so fast, I never remember to get a photo. Both locations are comfortable. But I do think the Broadway location is nicer for date night, and better ambiance... the Frontage Road location is quiet and nice for lunch or meeting friends. Staff at both locations have always been fantastic though... and for the food you get, you just can't beat the price. read more

This wonderful little strip mall Thai restaurant was quite a delight. Once inside, the interior decor and classy jazzy music felt like an upscale restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly, very attentive and willing to engage with us. They have many Thai and Japanese cuisine on the menu with several Vegetarian options. We tried the cheese rolls with a sweet dipping sauce which was a creamy delight. It is different than the normal cheese wanting we get at other restaurants. Our friends had the Tempura Tofu with a sweet and spicy sauce and loved it. I had the Spicy Vegetable roll which was topped with some spicy (not too hot) vegetables and avocado with the usual Ginger & wasabi on the side. It was different having the spicy vegetables on top which was delicious. My wife had the Sizzling Pra Ram, which was a very tasty peanut Tofu spinach dish. Our friends had the Popeye's favorite chicken dish, the Thai salad and an avocado & cucumber roll and they loved them all. I wanted to try something different and the Thai place was in the shopping center I frequent. It's a cozy joint and when you enter immediately you are greeted and seated. I wasn't sure of what to get asked for suggestions and was told pineapple fried rice has mild curry and pineapple s makes it sweet. Oh yeah it also had chicken and shrimp. One order was plentiful, I actually split the meal with my lunch partner. The taste was bland to me nothing really special. I didn't get a lot of chicken and shrimp but what I received was also bland tasting. I'm not sure what I expected maybe alittle spice but overall a hot dish (large container) of rice veggies, peanuts, onion, carrots and cabbage was the totality of dish. Food was so-so. The peanut chicken tasted like it was sautéed in peanut butter and the chicken chewed rubbery. The veggie roll was excellent wrapped in rice paper versus seaweed. Service was great off and on. We were waited on by 3 different people and 2 of them were outstanding (non-Asian). Sushi Thai Delight, you had me at your expansive menu filled with sushi and Thai cuisine! Located in an innocuous strip mall off of Interstate 35 in Edmond, Oklahoma that is part of a larger shopping complex that is fronted by both a Sam's Club and Walmart Supercenter, I came to this location of Sushi Thai Delight while I was visiting family in the area for the week and after a long day's worth of activities, we needed a place to head for dinner and someone in my party suggested we try this place, as it was still fairly new restaurant in Edmond. I was initially slightly confused with their suggestion, as I assumed they were talking about Edmond Thai Delight on Broadway, which has since been rechristened Thai Delight Broadway. Apparently this is a new spinoff of sorts as this location is similar to that other location on Broadway with everything in name only as the menu at Sushi Thai Delight - Edmond has a very similar sensibility with menu items as vast as Japanese sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, bento boxes, noodles dishes to that of traditional Thai soups and salad, and entrées featuring curry, stir-fried noodles and fried rice. Getting a table for our party of four was super simple, as although we didn't have reservations. We were sat immediately in a booth which is aligned on every wall as well as the center of their dining room. Also what was nice is that they give every Yelper who checks in on the app a complimentary Thai Iced Tea, which was a sweet delight to start off my meal. This is where I would spend most of my gaze while looking at their menu. What was really nice is that each table had a menu of images of "What Our Meals Look Like" that was separate from their regular menu. The image of their Duck Basil, which featured sautéed duck along with sautéed mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, onions, green beans and basil along with a spicy basil sauce was simply calling my name. This and the fact that every entrée under their Duck menu, among other sections, is served with a side of steamed rice and a choice of miso soup or a salad topped with house made dressing. Our meal was presented in no time, as my dish was a huge meal filled with plenty of pieces of duck, including two drumsticks, along with tons of fresh veggies and plenty of sauce. If I had one gripe with the dish is that there was a little too much sauce as it covered every aspect of the dish. Nevertheless the sauce was overall very good and I was able to savor it more thanks to all of the steamed rice that accompanied my dish, which was only aided when I decided to take half of my meal home with so much leftover steamed rice, I had another full meal a day later. Whatever brought Sushi Thai Delight to this strip mall in Edmond, I am so glad that they are here at this new location, as it is super easy to get to with plenty of parking in front. The menu is fun and since it is so expansive that with additional visits you can order something completely new off of their menu and completely realize that you have been to this location before. I did see them present one of their sushi boat combinations for two and it looked really good. I can't wait to make Sushi Thai Delight - Edmond one of our go-to places for a solid dinner, as they even give out stamp cards for frequent diners in addition to the aforementioned free Iced Tea or Coffee upon check-in, which similarly happened at the other location. Which goes to show you no matter the location Sushi Thai Delight is ready to continue to delight our taste buds for years to come with their wide variety of authentic Japanese and Thai dishes. read more

This place is fantastic!! Great/friendly/attentive service and delicious, fresh food. My favorites are the Tom Kha Soup with chicken and the Yellow Curry with chicken. I get both of them with a spice level of 1, just to kick it up a tiny bit. Flavors are phenomenal and execution is always consistent. This is one of my favorite places to visit, or to get food to-go. Their to-go food packaging is very sturdy, so you have zero issues with leaks when you order soupy items for pickup. Restrooms are clean and well-stocked. What's not to like? Give it a shot. I recently moved 30 minutes away of Edmond but went just to eat here, unfortunately, I shouldn't have. Friday night at 7:00, it was busy as usual and I was alone so I was sat in the little booths in the back-totally fine. While I was being seated, the table in front of me asked to be moved. I couldn't hear why, just the waitress saying sorry and there's nothing she could do about the problem but that she would move them. Like I said I couldn't hear why so I just ignored it thinking someone was being particular. The waitress moved them, then brought my menu and said "sorry we have a few gnats, is that okay?". I hadn't seen a single one so told her I didn't care and ordered. Boy did I care when the first of my food came! It felt like I was in the middle of a swarm, it was wild. I ate my starter and asked for the entree I'd ordered to be to go and bailed out of there about 5 minutes later. The pic I took is after I had eaten. You can imagine how many were flying around if EIGHT of them had landed. Really the only reason I posted is because I've had fruit flies in my house before and they are a paaaiiinnnn but there are so many things out there to get rid of them and within 2 days tops (including restaurant safe non-toxic whatever). For them to be as bad as they were in the dining room I can only imagine what the kitchen was like and that is why I posted. For the waitress to say there's nothing they could do was nonsense. At 6:30 they told him a little longer. At 6:46 they told him that the order was lost. They told him 5 more minutes. Finally at 7:10, he receives the order. What was the point of placing the order online and paying ahead of time? I will never place an order here again. Terrible service with no attempt to rectify the situation. read more

Located at Shoppes at Fox Lake -E 15th & I-35, Edmond, this Japanese food / sushi restaurant is a solid option any time of the day in this neck of the woods. It is the same owners of Thai Delight on Broadway Ext. in Edmond. This is their third location as they have one on Broadway Ext. in Edmond and another down in Norman. As stated in other reviews, they have giant portion sizes, which will last 2 meals--easy. So take your bill and divide it in half and realize that's a win-win-just don't forget to take your take home box with you, because that would be epically sad (yes, it has happened to me). Their food is consistently flavorful and served right. Their presentation is wonderful and makes for fun Yelp-a-licious photos. Their green curry is delightful. Green curry is my favorite and as such, my always go-to. Their other curry options look delicious as well. The curry comes with a mountain of rice which so this plate served with an appetizer is easily enough for two. Their summer rolls are tasty. They have a nice flavor and you can get them with tofu or shrimp. They have a nice spread of veggies inside. They come three to a serving. The star of the show is their peanut sauce. OMG. I usually finish it off with a fork if there's any left over-don't judge. I think their mixed vegetable dish on the "curry and stir fried dishes" portion of the menu is insanely good--and I love meat and I still order this as my main course. Its an abundance of fresh veggies in a light but deeply flavorful sauce. Again, served with a mountain of rice. I'd def. recommend it. The real reason I come is here is for one roll in particular--the Spicy Vegetable roll-- holy s*&$ it's delicious. It is a veggie roll served on a small round plate with the pieces of roll spread in a circle on the plate covered in a giant amount of spicy soy sauce seeped veggie deliciousness. I love this veggie masterpiece so much it is on my top five crave-a-licious dishes of all time. I like to order this with another roll, I've had several that are good, that helps to palate cleanse since the flavor of the spicy veggie is so overpowering. Other good sushi options: The Beauty and the Beast roll, the Jungle roll, the French roll, the Dynamite roll, the Vegetable Temaki hand roll--this one is a great value as its about $5 and packed w veggies. I think its better than the Salmon Temaki, but that's just me. The Volcano roll is good, but I would either pick the Volcano or Spicy Vegetable and wouldn't order them together. They are both very flavorful and the Volcano is very heavy. If ordering the Volcano, be sure to get a palate cleansing roll to go along with it. I really haven't had a bad roll here yet. This place has great service, consistently good food, has clean bathrooms (which I think says a lot about a restaurant) and there's a "so-many-booths-to-pick-from" atmosphere. The walls have cool scenes and set the mood. My only complaint is sometimes the music doesn't seem to go with the ambiance of the restaurant-I hate it when that happens. Also, there are TVs here so if you are deciding between great tasting Japanese food and the game that day--you don't have to pick--you can have them both! Come here to check it out. At about $10 per entree, portions that last two days (even for kids!!), and kind service, Sushi Thai Delight is fabulous. This is a new location for an old restaurant and my first time going to either. I was deliciously not surprised as my friends had been going on about how tasty it is. Tables were clean and the highchairs are still new, which makes this mom so happy during flu season. Everything felt clean and new. Germaphobe much? Haha. My husband saw the volcano chicken on someone else's plate and ordered it. It was crispy and fabulous. Sweet and spicy thin-sliced chicken covered in volcano sauce. So good. I had the red curry as I usually opt for panang. The sauce was soupy, and perfect for my rice. THE RICE!! This is just a pretty touch, but it comes out in star shapes. And that makes my heart happy. I ordered steamed noodles for my big almost one year old baby ($1.50, ya'll) and definitely had some in my soupy, red curry sauce. Ice cream tempura was the best I've had in years with a crispy shell, soggy inside with firm ice cream. If you ever had Mexican "fried ice cream" with cereal, this is NOT THAT. Easily located right off I 35 and 2nd St. This restaurant serves the best of Thai and Japanese cuisine. Everything is fantastic here, and it always seems to be busy and full of patrons. Whether you're looking for the stirfry selections, the amazing curries, or just some pad Thai you will not be disappointed. They occasionally seem to be a little understaffed for the amount of people they have there so I've had to wait a little bit on my food a few times. But that's only a slight criticism. Also they bring the heat! So if your heat tolerance is not up to par, order it a spice level 0. It will still be very flavorful. I am generally don't go past a one or two. Well, I've been in and out of this restaurant for over a year now. I've been trying several Thai food from the menu and I like them all. My favorite at this time is the Sea food Tom yum and Garlic jumbo shrimp. They are awesome! The Tom yum soup taste so good, well balanced flavor that teases my taste buds and couldn't stop sipping it. Well done!! The Garlic Jumbo Shrimp is so awesome with balance flavor as well.
