Food is great, not too much seating but luckily got in before it got super packed. Service could improve as I don't think our table got checked on once, and took a while for them to come back after leaving the bill.

It was Sabelee, then Thai papaya now Sushi Yorimichi. Sashimi combo set was great. The white fish was soft and buttery. Salmon nigiri was good too. I also ordered chicken liver yakitori, it was ok. Mentai butter udon was too busy. I don't know if half the stuff belongs in there. There is mushroom hidden in the sauce. Is crunchy bits normal? I was expecting a simple roe filled cream sauce and maybe some seaweed flakes sprinkled on top. The udon was cooked too soft, I'm the kind of person to undercook instant ramen. Service was great! Parking lot is small.

Ordered to go thru yelp. Was super easy and quick. We ordered the spicy tuna and crunchy rolls. I really liked the crunchy roll and my friend really liked the spicy tuna. She also ordered the matcha tiramisu and said it has a really strong matcha flavor. They only gave us 1 set of chop sticks and 5 soy sauce. So order more if you like a lot of soy. The staff were friendly and quick to acknowledge me. The decor is nice and not too over done. The parking is lot and no problems finding parking for a quick pick up. Would definitely go again and eat in.

Absolutely delicioussss! I ordered through DoorDash and got the Salmon & Uni bowl, and the crispy tuna rice! Salmon & uni bowl- the salmon was slightly seared and thinly sliced, about 2ish pieces of uni and some ikura and a lot of rice! Although the protein to rice ratio was off, I enjoyed this bowl! Crispy tuna rice was delicious as well! Looking forward to eating at the restaurant next time and trying some of the other items on the menu!

The food here still hits! I'm excited to introduce more of my friends to this great value spot. Come during happy hour (4-6pm I believe) for an even better deal and quicker wait times. I highly recommend the takoyaki here, it's probably my favorite in SD. The carbonara udon is very creamy, especially after the egg is mixed in. I love the shishito peppers as an appetizer since they're well seasoned. The place has very limited seating. Service can be slow since there is only one waiter from what I've seen. However, it's still very worth it. The interior is cute and homey.

Unfortunately this was a miss for us. In short, we paid about $100 for a big sampling of items and only a couple of things hit the mark. We ordered via DoorDash and it arrived very quickly. We ordered an unagi bowl (my favorite item -- this was good! Just also pricey and comparable to other places for me), onigiri (salmon one was very dry and had an off taste but the roe one was good. Love that they came with umeboshi plums), jalapeño bomb (very good). That's where the goodish news ends. The fried rice included pickled ginger which is common but wasn't our fave, the lamb chops were very overcooked -- like shoe leather, and the rainbow roll didn't appear to include tuna. A few off bites when it's a sushi restaurant can really ruin the vibe so we probably won't order again.

Omg this is my favorite sushi in San Diego absolutely amazing! The rolls are fresh and delicious. They have happy hour and the rolls are super filling. The Linda vista roll is hands down my favorite. I had this after giving birth and had it several times after that! So darn good. The location is small and it takes a bit for the rolls to come out because they are made fresh. Definitely recommend calling your order ahead.

    Spicy Tuna Hand Roll

Sushi Yorimichi is a small but charming spot in Linda Vista with quality eats and great deals. I came in for their happy hour special which offers about $1 off of some of their popular rolls. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll which was delicious and the albacore delight roll. The crunchy garlic chips on top really added and all of the flavors went so well together. The staff was also very nice and accommodating and everything came out pretty fast.

Great food! It's small inside so you might have to wait for a table but it is worth it. Good prices and really good food!

We ordered takeout and the pickup process was super fast and efficient. We got the Spicy Tuna Roll, Negitoro Bowl, Torotaku Roll, and Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna. They definitely didn't skimp on portions we felt like everything was well worth the price. The flavors were spot on, with the crispy rice being a standout. I personally loved the negitoro bowl and would come back just for that. We'll definitely be back!

BENTO BOX GREATER THAN SUSHI (4 stars) - FOOD: good - PRICE: affordable - SERVICE: good - AMBIANCE: tiny It's a tiny place in the corner in Linda Vista. The food is pretty good for what you pay. And it gets pretty busy especially around Happy Hour. BEEF RIB EYE STEAK ($18) - this came with rice, salad, miso soup, and the side chosen was deep fried gyoza (2pc). Perfect portion of everything all in a box. WOW! One of the better bento boxes I've had in good while. I requested the beef rib eye to be medium-well and it had that perfect tenderness-chew, juicy and flavorful. My imagination can literally taste the savory of that rib eye. It came with seasoned chopped broccoli and mini bachoy. The gyoza to my surprise were pretty good, nice crunchy outer layer and a steamed cabbage and pork filling. The salad was average but well dressed and this was nice to have to break up the meal between fried and savory. The miso soup was also average but nice to sip on when munching on the gyoza. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CRUSH ORANGE SUSHI ROLL ($10/happyhour) - think of a California roll with imitation crab, layered with salmon, and flavored with squirts of orange. It was ok but I prefer the flavor to be with lemon over orange. The orange gave it a tiny sweetness citrus taste and I prefer the taste of a tart lemon when it comes to combining any acidic taste with salmon. After two bites I was a little over the orange flavor. Will def be coming back for more bento box experiences! Until the next review...

I had decided tentatively to get pizza, but my cousin told me when I picked him up that he was on a healthy food kick. Plus, he wanted to go to a "Michelin star place" and this was the only Michelin star place I could think of... and ramen noodles are pretty healthy so what the heck? I had been to the Mira Mesa location before so I knew what to expect here. My cousin was new so he was trying to figure out what to order. Unlike last time at the Mira Mesa location, I knew not to order the extra noodles and went for the tonkotsu ajitama, which does seem like the safe option. I added corn and seaweed into my bowl, which I think helped add to the nice umami flavor. But even without the extra noodles, I still couldn't finish the whole bowl of ramen. To be fair, I did have breakfast a couple of hours before. Still, it was filling. And I had leftovers for later. My cousin ordered the Tonkotsu bowl only, and he said it was really good. Coming from a pretty picky eater like himself, that's a compliment.

A normal meal. A casual San Diego ramen situation. Incorrect. What actually happened was that my child experienced a culinary event so powerful it rearranged her internal belief system. She took one bite and immediately declared it her "favorite meal ever" and "the best sushi on earth," which is impressive because those are two separate categories of food, but honestly I respect the conviction. At that moment, she became a tiny ramen prophet. A noodle evangelist. A sushi sommelier of chaos. I was no longer her father. I was merely the adult with a wallet and transportation. The ramen was fantastic. The sushi was fresh. The whole place had that magical "we actually care about what we are doing" energy, which is increasingly rare in a world held together by parking apps and spiritual fatigue. Then, as if the first visit had not already altered the timeline, my daughter made me go back the next day. Not requested. Not suggested. Made. There was no negotiation. She had tasted the mountain and demanded we return to the temple. So we did. And it was still excellent. BESHOCK is now officially part of our family lore. Somewhere between "remember that time we saw the ocean" and "remember when your daughter discovered ramen and briefly became a food critic possessed by a joyful sea dragon." Highly recommend. Bring your children only if you are emotionally prepared for them to ask to come back immediately.

Beshock used to have tonkotsu ramen but now only offer ramen with chicken broth. They used to have this AMAZING lunch combo where you'd be able to buy ramen + sushi but they no longer offer that any more. Although it's still good and i can't really complain about the new additions I just wish they'd still have a tonkotsu option. I used to go out of my way to drive to downtown and order their food but I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. Again their food is still good just completely different.

I got the shoyu ramen, chashu rice, and a cold oolong tea. The ramen was fine in texture and al dente. The broth was flavorful, without being oversalted.
