Great service and quality food... I came in for lunch and walked out wishing I had worn elastic waisted pants. The ordering is a little clunky- there's a menu book but it seems they prefer you to use the iPad to order. And, there must have been instances where people were unhappy about what they typed in and were ultimately served because the server comes over to confirm what you ordered. And there is a delivery robot but it brings out the food and the server takes it off the robot tray and hands it to you. The robot gets close to your table but not within your reach. My last point would be that there is a small string of Christmas lights wrapped around a plastic stand on your table. If you need your server, you are to turn the lights on- there's written directions explaining this to you. BUT at noon, it is as bright as the bulb of an overhead projector so it is somewhat undetectable to the server. I suspect it is a better system at night. My wife and I camer for our anniversary lunch to try sushi for the first time. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was incredibly! Now, I don't have a frame of reference, lol, but the flavors were rich and deep and everything was very fresh. My wife got a bento box and I had the Dynamite Sushi. I was really craving sushi, so I searched for spots near me that I hadn't tried before and One Sushi popped up. After browsing the menu, my fiancé and I decided to give it a shot. We arrived on a Friday evening and it was surprisingly quiet, with only a couple of tables occupied. I'll admit, that made me a little nervous at first, but we were greeted immediately. The restaurant was very clean, and our hostess was also our server. She walked us through how everything worked, including ordering on a tablet. Once you place your order, either she or a small robot brings the food to the table. The robot was honestly adorable and played a little song as it rolled out, so you always knew food was on the way. For food, we ordered the double decker sushi roll and it was really good. I had actually looked it up before we even came and it was a big reason I wanted to try the place, and it did not disappoint. We also got spring rolls, which were fresh and exactly what you would expect, but nothing particularly memorable. My fiancé ordered the fried rice and beef with hibachi vegetables, and unfortunately that is where things went downhill. The rice was hard and crunchy, almost like it was undercooked. The beef was fine, but the hibachi vegetables were bland and didn't add much. When our server checked in, we were honest about not enjoying the fried rice meal. She offered to replace it, and I appreciated her willingness to make it right, but we felt like it just wasn't a good fit overall. Would I go back, probably not. My favorite thing about this place is it's open late! Till midnight. The lobster wontons barely had anything in them. Mostly imitation crab. I wouldn't suggest these at all. The sushi was good. Calling in though, I would prep you to expect a lax host- sounding truly unmotivated, speech almost slurring. No matter the generation, I expect the host to be professional and genuinely helpful. I have been coming to One Sushi for a few years and it has changed hands and been through many (positive) changes. I believe the new management cares deeply about customer service and being present. The menu is more focused, better categorized, and hones in on delicious offerings- their Póke Bowl selection is fresh and PERFECT for if you have limited time for lunch. It comes out faster than Special Sushi Rolls (a tip). Complimentary Miso Soup is offered with each meal :) Their Lunch Specials are also a must for those who need a well-rounded meal in a brief amount of time. Those Bento Boxes are yummy (try the Teriyaki Chicken one!). I love that they offer Boba Tea now :) a little treat. They have something for everyone here. read more

I ran into this spot because I got off work late and felt like ramen needed to happen. They don't close until around midnight so this was a clutch spot. You won't be able to sit down if it's too late though (carry out only) but they still will let you order. It's free parking because it's in a shopping center and business parking lot. Theyr is indoor seating and outdoor seating. So you can be out at night and still catch a breeze. There are heat lamps so you won't freeze. The lady who cooks in the back is SOOO nice! We were waiting for a while and she knew it. She came out and talked to his between cooking and gave us some Japanese drinks to take home with us. She was so apologetic about it taking too long. Just like other hibachi restaurants, you got the appetizer before you get the meal. It came with glass noodles, which were pretty good. Salad with ginger dressing, which was only a few shredded lettuce pieces but it was only an appetizer after all, And it came with the soup with tofu. Pretty good presentation though. One volcano roll - The volcano roll came with a good presentation and tasted really good. I looked at it. It wasn't sure what was under the sauce LOL but it was a double stacked sushi roll and it was really good. Bang bang shrimp - The bang bang shrimp was actually really good, came with a nice helping of bang bang shrimp, didn't have it sauced everywhere but it had a little dipping sauce with it so it definitely helped it along and had a good tangy flavor. Chicken bulgogi ramen - The chicken ramen was all right. Wouldn't be my favorite but it was good overall. De meat was different, the way it was marinated or cooked, it didn't feel like it fit in the ramen bowl, but it was still pretty good. Nonetheless. Maybe it's because I got it as a carryout and didn't have the same body to it as if I would have eating it there at the restaurant, but personally the steak one was better. Lobster wontons - The lobster wontons are okay, but I probably would not get them again. They didn't seem as filled as I thought they would be. And there was a lot more rap than it was lobster filling. Shrimp California roll - pretty good, nothing out of the box though. Spring roll - loved them. Just the right amount of fried goodness. Shrimp tempura - not a fan...felt like there was too much breading on it and there was not as much as far as shrimp goes. They were fried a bit more than too well, probably wouldn't go for that next time. Beef bulgogi ramen - This was actually a little bit better than the chicken ramen. I don't know why but the meat was better in this dish. It was very tender and it was plentiful, along with the other things. You could actually get full off of this. I could consider this a spot to go to just to duck off or get a quick meal or a lunch or something along those lines. The prices are pretty affordable, and so far what I've had has been pretty good and I'll be curious to try more. read more

The restaurant is located in The Perimeter Town Center, a multi-building medical office complex offering healthcare suites and restaurants. Parking is free and plentiful, but during weekday business hours 8-5, you may have to search for a parking spot. I ordered my food to go online, and their website is user-friendly. My order consisted of spring rolls and shrimp teriyaki hibachi with vegetable Wok fried rice. The ambiance is chic and quaint. It's definitely a nice place to take a date. They have a nice size bar and optional outdoor seating available. Customer service seems to be good, when I picked up my order the staff was friendly. My entire meal was delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful. My entrée had an ample amount of rice and fresh veggies along with shrimp all cooked to perfection. The garden salad was lovely, not the usual basic salad that you usually get with your hibachi other places, and the ginger dressing was good as well. The food here was exceptional and fun. We ordered four rolls: the Chanel replica, double decker, Las Vegas roll, and mt Fuji roll. The rolls were flavorful and fresh. I would have loved to try more but the rolls we ordered were large and filling, we almost didn't finish everything. We also ordered the lobster wontons for appetizers but it wasn't for us. The wontons were in a crispy deep fried wrapper but the filling lacked flavor, more overwhelming lobster flavor than anything else. Sushi was heavily sauced, which it doesn't need, unless freshness is a question. The beef bulgolgi roll was too big, like a futomaki roll. There are so many places to eat at this location near Costco Perimeter, but you must try ONE SUSHI! New owners took over last year and have made this a top notch sushi AND Asian influenced restaurant. Many customers come in and say hi to Michelle who wears many hats, service, hospitality, probably decorating (and beautifully), and she makes the homemade sauces which are kept refrigerated since they are fresh. The teriyaki and spicy sauce are so good, my faves. Before I forget, besides the relaxing zen atmosphere, they have a nice music station or playlist that adds to the ambience. I love sushi and would definitely recommend anything on their menu, with my personal faves being the hearty Spider Roll and Dragon Roll. Fresh meaty soft shell crab and delicious cooked eel complimented with ripe avocado and homemade eel sauce will make your taste buds and tummy very happy. Don't forget the Boba tea!
