    Beef Bulgogi Rice Platter
    Frank W.

In the area for business, I came across One Sushi as an option for dinner and am thankful I decided to eat here. Thus far, the best sushi in town hand down! Food 5/5: I ordered the Rainbow Sushi, and the Bulgogi Beef Rice platter. All dishes were delicious, and the Sushi was amazing. I could tell it was freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. Service 4.5/5: Family owned business supported by both Husband (cook) and Wife (server). She was very attentive with my order, serving dishes as soon as they became available. She took the orders, served food, and sat guests. She was busy. Ambiance 4.5/5: This place is quaint, hidden half way in a strip mall, with plenty of seating. The vibe oozes Japanese Asian Culture, which I loved. They have a full bar, along with plenty of Happy Hour specials to enjoy friends and family. Relocation of this restaurant closer to the street should give it more attention it deserves. If you're up for good sushi, this IS the place. Trust me, you won't regret it. If it's your first time, try the happy hour M-F 3-6pm and All Day Sunday! ... you'll love it. Best part, they close at Midnight most of the week for late cravings . Enjoy!

I was really craving sushi, so I searched for spots near me that I hadn't tried before and One Sushi popped up. After browsing the menu, my fiancé and I decided to give it a shot. We arrived on a Friday evening and it was surprisingly quiet, with only a couple of tables occupied. I'll admit, that made me a little nervous at first, but we were greeted immediately. The restaurant was very clean, and our hostess was also our server. She walked us through how everything worked, including ordering on a tablet. Once you place your order, either she or a small robot brings the food to the table. The robot was honestly adorable and played a little song as it rolled out, so you always knew food was on the way. For food, we ordered the double decker sushi roll and it was really good. I had actually looked it up before we even came and it was a big reason I wanted to try the place, and it did not disappoint. We also got spring rolls, which were fresh and exactly what you would expect, but nothing particularly memorable. My fiancé ordered the fried rice and beef with hibachi vegetables, and unfortunately that is where things went downhill. The rice was hard and crunchy, almost like it was undercooked. The beef was fine, but the hibachi vegetables were bland and didn't add much. When our server checked in, we were honest about not enjoying the fried rice meal. She offered to replace it, and I appreciated her willingness to make it right, but we felt like it just wasn't a good fit overall. Would I go back, probably not. But I do appreciate the experience, and trying new places is one of my goals, so I'm glad we gave it a chance.

My favorite thing about this place is it's open late! Till midnight. The lobster wontons barely had anything in them. Mostly imitation crab. I wouldn't suggest these at all. The sushi was good. Nothing super spectacular but I wouldn't suggest these give it another try! The service was friendly even though they were about to close I appreciated the service. It's quiet and dimly lit but still fairly casual and a plus for warm weather they have a patio! Also free parking!

*Late night bites* While most restaurants in the area shutter around 9pm, One Sushi has an open kitchen til 1130pm. It's great when the day runs super long. Calling in though, I would prep you to expect a lax host- sounding truly unmotivated, speech almost slurring. No matter the generation, I expect the host to be professional and genuinely helpful. While I also witnessed said individual's demeanor upon walk-in & ordering, my dinner redeemed the restaurant. The food was good and hit the spot. Though I only popped in for pick-up, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the cozy atmosphere. It's one of the best features of this spot. Whether lunch or late night dinner, you'll get that feel. BON APPÉTIT

I love this spot! They have a variety of different dishes, like sashimi, nigiri, sushi roll, and ramen. It's very close to the Perimeter Mall. My personal favorites are the Tuna Taretare, Bang bang shrimp, and Yaki udon.

Service was fantastic thanks to Skyline & Mahesh. Offers authentic dishes - Sushi, Korean BBQ. Sushi, Ramen, Hibachi, Cafe (Subs, Crepes & Flatbreads, speciality drinks) & Noodles. A full bar with craft made cocktails Food was good except the rice didn't taste too fresh. Our order: Crunchy Shrimp Roll, Salmon Love, Veggie Sushi Rolls, Veggie Poke Bowl, Spring Rolls & Bento Boxes. Drinks - Pink Lady, glass of Cabernet & Honey Ginger Tea. The rice didn't taste as fresh if that makes sense, yet still consumed. Lunch Specials - Monday - Friday from 11:30am - 2:30pm. Retail parking lot with ample parking. Prices are easy on the pockets, atmosphere is welcoming both on the patio & inside.

Family owned business. Great food, great service. Sushi is fresh, ramen brings back memories of Korea (per hubby). The little "Miao" Bella Robot was fun to watch - delivering the food. We definitely enjoyed our food and would come back on our next visit to Atlanta.

I ran into this spot because I got off work late and felt like ramen needed to happen. They don't close until around midnight so this was a clutch spot. You won't be able to sit down if it's too late though (carry out only) but they still will let you order. It's free parking because it's in a shopping center and business parking lot. Theyr is indoor seating and outdoor seating. So you can be out at night and still catch a breeze. There are heat lamps so you won't freeze. The lady who cooks in the back is SOOO nice! We were waiting for a while and she knew it. She came out and talked to his between cooking and gave us some Japanese drinks to take home with us. She was so apologetic about it taking too long. Just like other hibachi restaurants, you got the appetizer before you get the meal. It came with glass noodles, which were pretty good. Salad with ginger dressing, which was only a few shredded lettuce pieces but it was only an appetizer after all, And it came with the soup with tofu. Pretty good presentation though. One volcano roll - The volcano roll came with a good presentation and tasted really good. I looked at it. It wasn't sure what was under the sauce LOL but it was a double stacked sushi roll and it was really good. Bang bang shrimp - The bang bang shrimp was actually really good, came with a nice helping of bang bang shrimp, didn't have it sauced everywhere but it had a little dipping sauce with it so it definitely helped it along and had a good tangy flavor. Chicken bulgogi ramen - The chicken ramen was all right. Wouldn't be my favorite but it was good overall. De meat was different, the way it was marinated or cooked, it didn't feel like it fit in the ramen bowl, but it was still pretty good. Nonetheless. Maybe it's because I got it as a carryout and didn't have the same body to it as if I would have eating it there at the restaurant, but personally the steak one was better. Lobster wontons - The lobster wontons are okay, but I probably would not get them again. They didn't seem as filled as I thought they would be. And there was a lot more rap than it was lobster filling. Shrimp California roll - pretty good, nothing out of the box though. Spring roll - loved them. Just the right amount of fried goodness. Shrimp tempura - not a fan...felt like there was too much breading on it and there was not as much as far as shrimp goes. They were fried a bit more than too well, probably wouldn't go for that next time. Beef bulgogi ramen - This was actually a little bit better than the chicken ramen. I don't know why but the meat was better in this dish. It was very tender and it was plentiful, along with the other things. You could actually get full off of this. I could consider this a spot to go to just to duck off or get a quick meal or a lunch or something along those lines. The prices are pretty affordable, and so far what I've had has been pretty good and I'll be curious to try more.

The Chanel Roll was sweet and dynamic. I loved this random find on date night in Dunwoody. The Bagel roll was my favorite. Never had anything like it. The restaurant was a total vibe and the owner came out after our meal. She was so sweet and offered us something special since we were the last customers of the night. Be sure to order the hot sake and the hot tea!!! Ginger and makes a perfect desert.

Came here on a weekday when I was in the area. The lunch combo was the obvious way to go. So much food for like $16, and it was pretty decent. The chicken didn't taste like much, but everything else was good. The service was minimal. There was the guy who took my order who seemed fine, but then he left. The other guy was just nonchalant. I ordered Thai tea and had to remind them to actually get it, which took a while since no one checked on me. On top of that, it was mostly just milk and for some reason had no ice. Probably won't be back.

Mayo for creaminess and cucumber for a refreshing finish. 8/10 * Gyoza - Its super crunchy. Flavors are spot on. It's somewhat mid but over all not a bad gyoza. 7.5/10 * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen - Wonderful, the noodles are perfecf, broth exceptional, the pork melts in your mouth and the jammy egg is a jammy egg. How could I do that??? I went for their homemade dipping noodles!! Dang! Anyway, the broth was aromatic and yummy. The Ramen with the fresh garlic (Extra charge but didnt even need it) and the chili paste...was soo comfy and paired really well with the overcast, rainy weather that day. I kept wondering...how does the chicken stay so crisp?? I've dunked it with every bite and slurp!! Gotta try! As I mentioned, I did go back. For the dipping noodles, and unfortunately, did not enjoy them. They were served cold, which I had read, and was served with a warm broth. The broth wasn't "warm" enough to thoroughly warm the thick handmade dipping noodles, for my liking. I also thought the broth was overly fishy for my taste.

You can get a lot for a little when you go. I think I did too much that day LOL! But the happy hour is really good. You can see the stuff that I got below. The service was actually pretty good and was fast so I didn't wait a whole long time to get my food and everybody was really cool and friendly. Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts were okay. They came temporary style so they were fried and battered. I'm pretty sure those are ranch dressing that went along with them, or maybe the sauce for the fries was that and sauce, I'm not sure. But they were okay. But I wouldn't rush back to them necessarily. Crispy chicken - The crispy chicken was decent. It came in very large chunks of chicken, kind of like smaller chicken tenders. Nothing out of the box though. They were only so seasoned, nothing got to make your mouth explode LOL Beef chashu bowl - This bowl was good. Kind of reminds me of that. I'm getting your beef kind of flavor. It's basically a rice bowl if you traded the ramen and the broth for rice. And you have that beef and the egg and a couple of other accompaniments, but it's really good or very far too. I kind of a brown sugar teriyaki kind of blend and if you want to know the flavor profile. Spicy chicken ramen - was good. I got it spicy but it's another level above that. If you want more heat. It comes with two chicken in it, and plenty of very good news. The broth is super savory and it will make you tingle a little bit LOL. French fries - The fries are shoestring fries and they're okay. They tell me the sauce. I'm not sure what it is though. But they are decent, nothing pretty out of the box. Even though it's a chain, the ramen is totally worth it.

I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

It's still gonna get a five-star rating from me. It's in a shopping center area in Dora Ville so there's no paid parking. It's a free lot but around that specific part of the building it may be packed but there's parking everywhere. You'll come in and the outside of the building looks drastically different from the inside because inside it looks very rustic Japanese decor. You'll find a lot of wood and a lot of decorations that go to that time period but still great, still very nice and appeasing to look at. The staff was super patient with me and that definitely made me nod my head to the customer service. I needed more time for some things and they were patient. They kept my glass full and I was also very appreciated, especially with that hot spicy soup that I got lol. Super great staff. Spicy gyoza soup - so the soup was really good. My only thing was the fact that they brought it out hotter than lava lol. You will need another bowl there so that you could eat the soup and hopefully it'll cool down because you don't want it to burn through your mouth. The flavor in there was really good and the dumplings in there were great. Ooba maki (delicious pork roll) - so you get a few of these on a skewer and you get two skewers of meat and it was really good. You can taste the distinct pork flavor and it was seasoned very well. You don't really get the leaves, which is what it's wrapped in, but I guess you wouldn't taste that. No this was a really good snack and it's just enough for an appetizer to get you hungry. Yakitori Chicken - this is a go-to no. If it's this type of Japanese spot, I'm going to get the Yakitori. It comes on a couple of skewers and it was very flavorful. I got my teriyaki style but this was a hit. It's very simple but it's direct. Scallop and bacon - the scallop and bacon was really good. Like everything else it came on a few skewers and you get a few pieces on the skewers. It was actually really tasty and I would get it again. The only thing is the bacon kind of overshadowed everything else but bacon does that so I can't hold that against them. Miso Pork belly - the pork belly was okay. I don't want to say that like it was bad because it was actually really good but of the other things this might have been the thing that was the most decent. It wasn't necessarily because of the flavor per se. It was more so that some of the consistency was a little weird. Not in a bad way because I would order it again but it just felt like you have part of it that was melting in your mouth. The other part was a little bit more chewy than it needed to be but that could be for any reason. It was still good. Vegetable tempura - the vegetable tempura was okay. It came with very large vegetables and it came with a sauce that had a little sweetness to it. It kind of tried to balance out with the deep-fried food and the sweet on the side. Atsigiti bacon - The bacon was okay. It really was just as they cut bacon so it really wasn't anything special or major about it. But it got quite a bit of the in the bowl. Chicken wasabi - The chicken lasagna is basically the chicken yakitori with wasabi sauce drizzle. If that don't get me wrong. The chicken is always good but some really creep up on you here LOL. It was a solid choice. Pork belly - the pork belly was good.... I got it teriyaki style. When I got it the first time I got the miso styles but both of it was actually really good. Honestly, there's not a whole lot of difference except for the only sweetness but it's still great. Overall I will 102% be coming back to this kind of spot. The fact that it's closer than my other spot, which is in Midtown, really is a plus for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the time here.

yummy! recently visited because i was nearby at the karaoke bar upstairs. i had been craving some…read moreauthentic japanese food and grateful i stumbled upon this area and this restaurant. so many options. i ordered the takoyaki and it had this delightful sauce. i also ordered the eel over rice. pretty good but not the best i ever had. takoyaki was definitely my favorite. i took my food to go or else i would've tried a curry or miso soup. everything looked really good and the employees were kind and helpful. i'll definitely come back and try more on the menu.
