The miso soup was hot and delicious. I then got the lunch bento box. 2 shumai, a California roll with REAL crab meat! Broccoli w shrimp. The box also had white rice. The sauce on the broccoli shrimp was AMAZING. Beautiful Chinese 5 spice flavor and they also removed the shrimp tails, which many restaurants don't do. I appreciated that.

There was no explanation, no accountability, just blatant favoritism. To make matters worse, the owner was rude and hostile, yelling at me for supposedly arriving "too early," even though I had already been waiting 15 minutes at that point. That is not how you treat delivery drivers, who are an extension of your business and represent your restaurant to customers. The operation felt disorganized and unprofessional, and the branding felt misleading compared to the actual experience. Whether you're a customer or a delivery driver, expect long waits, poor communication, and disrespect. I will not be picking up orders from here again, and I strongly caution others in St. Augustine, FL to do the same. Ambiance not Japanese.
