I had the udong special which comes with a spicy tuna roll which was tasty and filling. The udong comes with fish cakes and veggies. Daughter ordered the two sushi combo dinner and got an Alaskan roll and tuna roll. Son ordered. the chicken teriyaki plate. Food was delicious and portions were good. Owner even came by to say hello and knows my daughter by name. She even took time to learn my son's name too. Went in expecting great things. It started off well but quickly went downhill. The sushi arrived looking like pre-made poke that was quickly thrown into a roll. It was lacking in fish and flavor. The special roll I ordered was not the one I received and when I asked the waiter he said it was my fault despite the fact that he didn't write the order down. I had several menu items, including 6 sushi roles (which included the Mango Sushi Tower (without the spicy tuna) in the photo), gyoza, and chicken yakisoba. I can say that all the photo was delicious! I went around 5:30 pm on a weekday night, and the restaurant was empty, so we got served very quickly and received our food very quickly as well. This is out favorite spot to come and eat. Sushi is always A1 and sushi always taste fresh. The service is great and there is little waiting the many times we come to eat dinner. My experience today exceeded my expectation overall. My husband and I started by ordering an order of Goyza dumplings which I wasn't too crazy about as they came out fried. I wasn't given an option, so I just assume they would be steamed. They were pretty hard and dry but they tasted okay. I am from Florida and this is a top 3 sushi place for me easily. We were sat immediately, the place was super clean and they cleaned as soon as each table got up. The decor in this place is really cute and you can tell the owners put a good bit of thought into putting this place together. The restaurant offers, various sushi types, from regular hand rolls, to vegetarian rolls, special rolls and some Poke bowls. They also serve hibachi style food in combo and lunch boxes. I had several of the rolls and each one of them was really great. The variations of the spicy rolls under the hand roll menu was a nice change because all you usually see on a menu is the spicy tuna roll. If you are into those I would suggest trying one of the others they offer here. We had the Spicy Yellow Roll (made with yellowtail) and it was an absolute delight. Another favorite of mine was the King Dragon Roll which was served with a hefty piece of eel on top. YUMMM but if you cant eat around fish bones I wouldn't order it. The first photo is from at least a year ago. I started a review and I guess never finished it. The salad is supposed to be a kani salad. Where they do that at? Uhm I guess here The other photos are from a few days ago. Likely Sunday. For the most part I had a good food experience that's what I had been back so many times in a week; ordering the same food. So when I got my spider roll this past Sunday-- missing the tendrils that accompany the roll 100% of the time every where that sells this basic ass roll--I was told I must be mistaken or that doesn't usually come on the roll. This is why I stay out of lee county. I've been to this place at least 4 times in 7 days (recently) so for the server to hit me with that bs was not cool. I could easily eat here 4 nights a week and still want to come back for a 5th night. I don't eat rolls but I do eat sashimi and nigiri and I will not eat them anywhere else. HANDS DOWN BEST SUSHI PLACE IN AUBURN. Trust me I have tried all of them! This place is fairly new and has a small space in a shopping center. It is tastefully decorated with dim lighting to make it more romantic. The wait staff here is so friendly. After we came a few times, they began to recognize us and playfully joke with us whenever we came in. The sushi is so fresh and bold in flavor.
