It's good, because it gives you a few mins to ponder and go back-and-forth of which flavor, or flavors, you want to get. I opted for soft-serve yogurt, which is not the main thing they serve (scoop ice cream), as they have only 2 flavors. It was good, not great, and a medium cup for $6. I drove my three kids and I from South Lake Tahoe to Incline Village just to try out Susie Scoops and the ice cream and experience did not disappoint. My kids picked out their cute little ice cream holder / spoon to go with their ice cream! My son loved his vanilla ice cream, daughter loved her strawberry ice cream and my youngest loved the pineapple / vanilla frozen yogurt. Adjacent to them is Village Toys (which the employees who work at the shop apparently work there as well) where I took my kids to after their ice cream treat and my son and daughter bought toys they have been looking for, for quite some time now. The only downfall I did notice is the limited seating. It is Memorial Day weekend with good weather, so it was busy. The outdoor seating was full but luckily we were able to snag a table (the indoor seating with is shared with Starbucks). Definitely worth the drive. read more

Best place in Incline Village for ice cream. It has good quality and prices are high of course but they're not ridiculous. Susie Scoops has many familiar flavors and some interesting ones too. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing mostly. There's also non dairy sorbets. It was hot so the girl and I stopped for something cool. Of course everyone else around wanted to come here. The line went pretty fast thankfully. Interior is typical of an ice cream place, with some tables and the flavors behind glass at the counter. We noticed there were a few non dairy sorbets. Good interesting sounding flavors. We would have to find out if they tasted good too. I got the Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet in a bowl. It's $4.50 for a scoop. This isn't outrageous when compared to other ice cream stores. As for the flavor, it was good for a hot day. This had both sour and sweet. She got the same thing and also liked it. There could have been more but we had enough to cool off. A bad thing is parking because there's not much space in this shopping center. Tasted a lot like the ice cream tubs you buy at the grocery store. For mud pie specifically, I wish there had been more Oreo chunks in it. The chocolate peanut butter had a really really strong peanut butter flavor and the mango creme even had small chunks of frozen mango in it. There are a good amount of flavors, probably around 30, but none of them are super unique or innovative. They also offer a wide variety of desserts such as frozen yogurt, smoothies, sundaes, donuts, shaved ice, and more! The ice cream parlor is in a small plaza with Starbucks, a toy store, and a Coldwell Banker. There's a shared, indoor seating area with a bathroom.
