This is one of the best spas in the area. They treat you really well. When you go in, you are given a locker and a Kashwere Robe and slippers. You can go to the locker room and change, shower and sauna if you want. You come back out to a beautiful waiting area with fruit and water and big comfy chairs. Your therapist will come get you and take you back. When you come out, you can lounge in this area again and just relax. I like that they have showers, in case you feel oily. Went to a couple's massage with my husband today and we loved it. We filled out our paperwork and were taken to the back fairly quickly. The atmosphere and set up reminded me of a high end establishment. You get to the locker room and you slip into a robe and voila! on your way to one of the best experiences for Swedish massage in the Flower Mound area. The couple's massage room is scented amazingly with lavender and other essential oils. The scent of relaxation is in the air. The massage bed is already at a comfortable heat setting and the sheets are a high thread count for sure! The massage itself, is great! My therapist was Dixie and she was consistent in keeping the kneading and overall pressure medium, at my request. After the massage, you can lounge in the relaxation room and/or in their locker room sauna. I do not regret going to Sutera and I know we will be going there again. My husband and I came in for Deluxe Swedish Massages today. We did not do 'couples' massage even though they offered. My husband enjoyed his massage, but said that it was about par with other massages he has had. His masseuse was Amber. I had Jennifer as my masseuse and she was phenomenal! I knew I had hit the jackpot when she said that she had just finished giving a deep tissue massage and I would have to let her know if the pressure was too firm. The entire massage was incredible. Jennifer is the most amazing masseuse I've had, particularly for deep tissue massages. She also stretches your body out while massaging it if that's your desire so if you're sore and tight from working out, she's your person! I have had nothing but excellent massages from Jennifer here - several times, great manner, just the right pressure, never intrusive. But this last hair removal service by Alicia was terrible, to say the least. I returned with bruises on both legs from yanking....and this is not the first time I've gone in for waxing services, so I know what's supposed to hurt and how I'm not supposed to leave with bruises....moreover, I was told to apply oil, hot towel and lotion on my own after waxing was over. Thank you for the worst waxing I've gotten done....I'll return to this spa for massages, but NEVER for waxing. read more

When you need a relaxing afternoon, look no further. I was able to get a very last minute facial after a very long and stressful day. With a last minute booking, I didn't have high extremely high expectations, I honestly was just wanting to lay down in a relaxing environment and leave the outside world behind for an hour. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this place and how much it exceeded my expectations!!!! This is a little hidden gem in Flower Mound. It was truly one of the best facials I have ever had. They have a nice locker room and fluffy bathrobes to change into. Then you go into a little "retreat" that has hot tea and water to relax with while you wait. The facial was wonderful and included a lovely foot and hand massage with warmers you wear during the service. The ambiance of the spa was just what I was looking for and the facial was delightful. The first time I went there was for a underarm and leg wax. The salon itself is quite lovely, the clinician was very pleasant and the waxing itself was okay. So when she said I'd get a discount for prebooking a return appointment I did. Fast forward one month and I think that it should be time for my appointment so I call the Salon to check but - hum, I don't have an appointment!?! So I schedule another one that week. The day before that appointment I called to double check the time and was told it was not the next day but the next week!?! I was like are you kidding me, no, I was told that it was tomorrow. But the girl on the phone was saying "well I have you down next week" and even though I repeatedly told her that the appointment was made for the next day, so I just said cancel it. I usually don't do reviews but I wanted to warn people because I was charged $42.75 today for the appointment I told them to cancel last week. I feel like I've been a victim of a bait and switch. read more

They offer great service and do a nice job. HOWEVER there scheduling system does NOT work. They can have a service offered for a particular time slot on their web page but they CANNOT fulfill it when you call. When you call to schedule, they tell you they don't have staff available for the service in the time period listed on their web page. This has happened to me a number of times. The schedule on there web page is not reliable. Don't bank on it! read more

I went here for the first time yesterday. It is hard to find it is hidden in the very back of a business area. The staff was friendly and I had a very relaxing experience. My massage was excellent! The only thing I didn't like was the "lounge" area. It was a small dark uninviting corner filled with uncomfortable giant overstuffed furniture. The lady who is responsible for booking appointments is extremely rude. When you try to book over the phone she comes off in a manner that makes you feel like the spa is too good for you and they are doing YOU a favor by letting you book there. I would not recommend this place to anyone simply because of the customer service I received while booking and the way I was treated when I checked in. The services are fine, as the estheticians are knowledgeable but there are several other places that are far better all around. I was not impressed and I would not recommend this place. read more

I absolutely love love love this spa. Definitely the best in the area! I go at least twice a year as a nice treat for myself and its heaven. I typically get a deluxe deep tissue massage but I've also had a facial and pedicure there; all were done terrifically with the utmost professionalism. I feel so relaxed afterwards! Not just the services they offer but even the waiting room and womens changing room is magnificent! The soft couches, soothing music, and cucumber infused water has a calming affect that gets you relaxed for the massage. There shower is like a dream!! They also have private lockers that allow you to store your belongings with security. The vanity area includes a hair dryer, clean hair brushes, and skin products. Worst pedicure I received in 35 years. It looks like a child painted my toes. There is polish all over my toes, nails are uneven, some are filed at an angle one direction. Pedicure chairs are straight back hard chairs - no relaxation here. I only went because I had a gift certificate and will NEVER go there again! read more
