They open until 8:30pm and the staff is always fast efficient and kind. I never had a bad experience here. Even with no appointments made you can walk in and the clerks will Work with you to get your images taken care of. I think their other locations really need some trainings from the folks who works here. read more

Without fail, this location never seems to have the order my doctor faxed. Every. Single. Time. I have her refax it to a different number that they give me and they still don't have it. I have to leave and come back with a paper copy just to get an x ray. While I was in line, they told 4 other people they didn't have an order for them too. If they're telling 5 people this in a matter of 5 minutes, I can't imagine how many people hear this in a day. It's 2026, we don't have a better system than faxing, Sutter?? Create a portal where doctors can submit the orders. Clearly the fax system isn't working. Figure it out and do better. read more

Beware of your privacy being violated at this location. I asked the ultrasonographer to follow the physician's order to allow me to send a photo of my transvaginal ultrasound to my physician as the order was a STAT order taken on a Friday at the end of the day. My fertility doctor needed the ultrasound within the hour, which the ultrasonographer reported "won't happen, we never do STAT actually STAT here." The order literally read, in print, "patient must send photo to provider at time of appointment" as a separate order coupled with the ultrasound orders. The ultrasonographer initially refused the doctor's order and made me feel stupid for asking to comply with the physician's order. I asked if we could continue with just the ultrasound and hope for "STAT" to actually be STAT seeing as I drove two hours for the appointment due to timing and urgency of the matter. She rolled her eyes and said, "whatever. You can take a photo as long as you cover up you name. This is a HIPAA thing, you know?" (It's not a HIPAA issue. It's self-diagnosis problem.) After the ultrasound, I waited in the hallway for my daughter to finish using the restroom and overheard her the ultrasonographer telling other staff in the back office how "ridiculous this patient is" (using my legal name) and "as a nurse she should know better. What crap!" There were two other staff members heard laughing and mocking me and telling the ultrasonographer I should "watch myself" further calling me an "idiot." I asked the front registration staff to please ask her other staff to stop talking about and sharing my medical information with others, she walked to the back and said, "she's right here, guys. She's standing right there. She can hear you." To which one of the staff said, "good. She should know better. Screw her for asking." I was beside myself. I have never felt so violated or disrespected in my life. My privacy rights were, THEN, clearly violated and I was humiliated for trying to follow the provider's order. The worst part is that the ultrasonographer left up 12+, patient charts with full first and last names visible with study they received on the ultrasound machine when the tech left me to redress. I would never photograph other patient info, but their privacy was violated by the fact that I knew what studies they had done. So many violations occurred in such a short experience. I can't even process it. I did file a report with the state over this incident. read more

The tech was great, I was told to arrive at 7am. I stood out front until 8am when a passerby inside the office, let me in. I then stood around for another 20 minutes because the woman that was supposed to check me in was late. When she arrived she offered no apologies and seemed to be irritated. She then gave the technician the wrong information when I was preparing for my MRI and he had to go straighten it out. The MRI was located in a portable trailer. They seemed extremely unorganized at this location. I would go somewhere else if the opportunity presented itself. read more

I scheduled my exam months ago. I already confirmed my appointment and did all the surveys they required online. The day before the exam, I received a phone call to tell me that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I asked why did I get booted. She told me there would be no technician on the day I scheduled. How convenient to them to say that there's no one to help you. Dude, you drew a last minutes thing, not even 24 hrs. That's just not professional. It's an organization. If you don't have technicians, you should look for back up, like a contracted technician or something like that. An organization has no Plan B. That's just not acceptable. What if it's a life and dead situation, then the results would be "DEAD" for sure... lmfao....Again, we are called "Patients" which means that we need to do certain things to fulfil the doc's needs for any analysis. Elite pro tip: to get a CD copy of all/any of your imaging done in the Sutter imaging centers, Go to the nearest imaging center and ask the front desk. Bring your ID and sign an authorization form and you get the CD in 5 minutes! IF you want to be even faster, call ahead of time and have them make the CD before coming in. I have taken imaging from Folsom, Roseville, Elk Grove, and I thought I would have to go to each individual location but that was not the case! what a relieve! Now Im ready to bring my CD to my specialist appointment and see about my health. Good luck with your health! read more

The ultrasound tech was very unprofessional and rude toward me. She made personal derogatory comments to me regarding the test, and didn't follow the doctor's order regarding the test. So now that I'm a woman a particular age... the question at hand is mammogram or colonoscopy? So I'm not sure which one is worse a colposcopy or mammogram?!?!? Oh my gosh I so was not looking to this appointment!! I was able to schedule my appointment on a Sunday which I was thankful for. The ladies working today we're more than personable. There was one time during my visit that we actually bent over laughing so hard because I could not handle the mammogram machine. I mean let's be honest I never met this woman yet I get to show her my goods!?!?! She was very professional and made me feel comfortable. I am so upset. I don't even know where to begin. I can't believe something like this can even happen. Why there is not more than one Ultrasound Technician and no backups available is beyond me. This is my 1st pregnancy and probably my only. I'm from Chicago but live here in CA with my boyfriend. We both took today off to FINALLY find out the gender of our baby - time off for us is hard to come by, my boyfriend just started a new job and can only take a half day, and I'm trying to save up PTO for when the baby comes and I actually need it. We were supposed to go in to Folsom at 9:30 for an appointment at 9:45am As I'm sure other 1st time parents who are planning to find out the gender of their baby are aware - this is the MOST exciting time for us after finding out we are pregnant and we've been waiting for this news since week 4 - I have countdowns on EVERY calendar - and have been SO EXCITED/ANXIOUS to find out.... Well just now I received a call from the Folsom office saying that the Ultrasound Tech called in sick and they can't find anyone to replace them and we need to reschedule!! I was about to leave for my appointment in 1hour. In complete SHOCK I said "WHAT" and explained how we have planned for this a month in advance and already took the time off of work - we CANNOT do this another day - they put me on hold and said they will call around to other offices to find me an appointment - after waiting they did find one but it's in ROSEVILLE - further away - and not until 3:30pm. Though I am glad I was still able to get seen today, I am VERY UPSET and currently CRYING (balling really) because now during one of the most IMPORTANT moments of my life thus far, I will be ALONE. My family is back home in Chicago and my boyfriend who was also counting down the days/hours/minutes/seconds till we can find out baby's gender was only granted a half day off of work and CANNOT be there for the rescheduled appointment time. This is DEVASTATING to me. And absolutely unacceptable. Now I understand people get sick. But a place that is literally changing lives with the news they give should have other Techs available in case something tragic like this happens. Now this VERY special moment my boyfriend and I had planned is RUINED and this is not something we will EVER get back or be able to do again. I would give zero stars if possible. I am completely HEARTBROKEN. And again this special memory we planned to make together is now ruined forever. Not sure what else to say other than this is complete and total BS! And I still can't even believe they are allowed to ruin lives/memories like this. I also had plans immediately after finding out. For example I NEED to get a gender reveal cake made for work tomorrow and now that my appointment is later in the afternoon I don't even think the bakery will be open long enough to get it done. I called the number because someone left a VM for my incoming heart bypass surgery. Talked to a receptionist and noticed the condescending tone, and was giving me a hard time regarding my insurance (blue cross/blue shield of Tennessee and VA), and was giving me a schedule on the date of my surgery. I told her it is not possible, and claimed the insurance takes 14 days and that if I need to do the procedures, it has to be out of pocket. I told the receptionist that I go to Sutter clinics, hospital and their contractor for my eye and my general practitioner with no issues. She cut me off when I vent my frustration and was very condescending. I let her repeated explanations and when she was finished, I told her to let me finish. I pointed out her talking down to me in a condescension thst I don't deserve. She apologized for "what I'm feeling ". She didn't own up for her behavior , and transferred to a supervisor, and been on hold ever since. Not a good experience that I hope patients would not experience. read more

Although it is hard to initially get through to make an appointment, I had a great experience once I was scheduled. I was apprehensive about a CT with contrast and Nicky was knowledgable, professional and explained the procedure thoroughly. The waiting lobby is gorgeous and the front end staff very pleasant. Then, I was ushered in and met Audrey, the x-ray technician, who was so gracious and pleasant, I almost wanted to stay! I have no clue why this place got such low ratings but here's my experience. I had to go in for a CAT scan and MRI back to back. I set up an appointment and was seen within 10 minutes. Everybody was very nice and courteous. They have an amazing aquarium that has A specific fish in there that lies down on a rock so weird and cool at the same time. Quite frankly if I had to wait an extra 15 minutes I would've been totally fine with that because those fish entertained me. The MRI trailer is outside, obviously it's in a trailer, the Scottish technician was extremely nice and frankly I loved listening to his voice ! He walked me back inside where I sat down waited for the CAT scan which didn't even take five minutes to call me in. The CAT scan technician was nice as well, no accent. :-) I then requested a CD of both MRI and CAT scan which they said they could supply in 30 minutes but I decided to come back and pick it up a couple of days later. I am going to make this place my default for getting all x-rays, CAT scans, MRIs from now on. It was a very positive experience for me. read more

Had to come to Sutter Imaging II for an ultrasound and the visit was quick and timely. Staff are super friendly and I was in and out faster than I had thought I would be. But the biggest reason why I'm giving them 5 stars is because when I went back to my car I realized my battery had died. I went back inside to ask if there was security personnel who might be able to assist me. Little did I know they send in their own staff, a nurse or tech not sure named Christine or Kristen , and she comes out with a portable jump starter. Saved the day thank you!! I would give 5 stars to every staff except a front desk who did the check in today. This morning my husband went to X-ray, He wore a cloth mask (The mask plus refill PM2.5) The front desk asked a nurse to give him a physical mask because his mask "won't protect anyone". Their billing is terrible - sketchy - check with your insurance before you let them do any follow-up, etc... Their staff are nice and will describe a test as "follow-up" or make it sound like they're just looking into things further, but whoever does their billing will charge you as they like, and you cannot really contest it once it's in their hands. I have tried several times to correct an issue with their billing but they will give you the run-around and do nothing significant. It is clear that they have customer services training, but no substance behind it. They just do not care. I stayed with them for 4 years, thinking my first issue with their billing was something unusual - it is not. They do not care about you as a patient and pay no attention to your imaging history - they will keep doing the same thing over and over as long as you are okay paying through the nose. Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere. read more

My almost 5 year old has been regularly getting her chest x-rays at Sutter Imaging since she was born with a birth defect in her lung. The surgeon puts in the order and we get the x-ray shortly before the next appointment. We have recently moved to Folsom so came to this location. The impression I get is they are super unorganized and ask every question three times. I am young, able bodied and can hear when someone is speaking to me and even I was frustrated! I really feel for the older folks coming in, in pain and needing to get to other appointments. They told me that they couldn't see the order after waiting 30 mins so I called the doctor and as soon as I got on the phone they found it. All this with a 4 year old! Basically, if you can go to another location I would recommend it! read more

Nope! Check your rates and insurance contracts! Call in advance, ask your Dr for the CPT codes. I have Anthem Blue Cross and there was no discounted contract rate! Also, the fees were hidden so I had no way to access ahead of time. $1331 for a lower back MRI at Sutter Imaging, $550 elsewhere! Call around, know your options. If they are not forthcoming with pricing and *contract rates* look elsewhere. You get to decide where to take your business! Just check with your insurance to make sure you find someone on your plan. read more

Disappointing phone experience, for sure. I spent 30 minutes trying to reach the appointment desk. It seems they are having phone problems, but no one thinks to put up a recording telling their customers that. I finally got someone to call me back, only to be told that X-Ray is walk in only and there's over an hour wait now. Try coming in later. What a way to run a business! Went in for a very simple 2 view lateral chest x-ray for my toddler. The front staff were not helpful, were very unfriendly and we waited over 30 minutes with patients who checked in after us (no appt) who were seen before us. I don't reccomend this imaging place, in fact I would make the long drive to roseville imaging for better customer service read more

Both my husband's and my experiences have been professional and very satisfactory. However, yesterday, they went over the top in my opinion. My husband was sent directly from a doctors appointment yesterday for an X-Ray. His cell was not working and I needed to get in touch with him. I called Folsom Imaging and asked if they would ask him to use their phone to call me. AMAZING...he got the message. P.S. We go there for the fish tank too. So soothing. read more

I went to Sutter Imaging II for a standard annual diagnostic test and had a very bad experience. They made me wait an hour (okay, I needed a nap anyways), then the lady doing the procedure was hurting me and I told her but that didn't stop her from hurting me more and drawing it out. I ended up walking out because I won't be treated like that. This is the only time I have ever walked out of a medical procedure - and I won't be back ever again. I've been going to RAS annually (Sutter use to be RAS) at this same facility for at least 20 years and this is the first truly horrible experience I've had. I won't go back and it makes me reconsider using any Sutter facilities. read more

You have to press this and that and finally #0 to talk to someone where the wait time is 20min minimum.. I even googled, sutter imaging appointment. None came up... Any solutions??
