The owner Sam came across genuine and helpful over the phone when I called to inquire about a 2013 red colored Leaf he was advertising at a good price. His personality and good nature over the phone helped motivate me to drive to Redwood City from Saratoga to see the car. When I got there the car was better than advertised so I was happy, but I noticed he had two more (newer) Leafs on the lot too, including a higher price newer 2015 Leaf in white (was my favorite color and options). He told me that one was not ready for sale yet and needed a couple of small fixes and not yet made fully ready to advertise, but I wanted it anyways and I ended up buying the one I wanted. The online advertised prices these days have to be very competitive to match the market out there and businesses usually post their bottom pricing online. His price advertised online was competitive with private party valuation that KBB gives. And as a dealership he provided the services of DMV registration and all that, so I now prefer to buy from him than from a private party. As I said the car was not fully done and ready yet - driver door remote didn't work and needed to be fixed still - but I needed the car so I took it with understanding that I will being it back two days later when he was originally expecting to get the part and have it taken care of. On my return visit two days later as promised everything went smoothly and the door lock actuator was replaced by his service provider, and my car even got a second wash before I pick it up. They do car detailing and ceramic coating at their location too, which I will likely bring my other (nicer) cars to get done in near future. Sam is a good man running a solid business and this small dealership is on my list of recommendations to my friends going forward. I wrote this rather long review to help a good business continue to do well.

Sam also worked closely with a non-profit I used to work at, and as a result helped change the lives of many individuals who otherwise wouldn't have been able to find an affordable, quality car. Anyone who has experience dealing with car dealerships and salesmen knows that a car salesperson with an altruistic side is hard to find. Final note, while the lot is on the smaller side, Sam has previously been open to keeping an eye out at auctions for specific types of cars if a serious potential client has requests. If you don't need a car right this second this is something to consider.

The dealership was 300 miles away, so I wanted to make sure the deal was legit. I initially talked to Gio, and he was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and put no pressure on me for the sale. I then talked to Sean and also had a great experience. I completed all of the paperwork online and they held the car until I got there the following week. I contacted Sean at the dealership and he walked us through the car and was very knowledgable. I then contacted Omid, whom we completed the paperwork and purchase. He's a car guy and very personable so we hit it off. He was very upfront about everything, and again, didn't use any pressure tactics to purchase add-ons like so many other dealerships I've dealt with. Overall, it was a quick sale and a great experience.

I got a text and call that the vehicle was done and a hour later my brother went to pick up the vehicle. However, he waited almost 40 minutes because they could not "find" our car. They had several reps scrambling to find the car, looking in the system, and still could not give us an update. I called service to check in, given I am the owner of the vehicle, and I was forwarded to numbers that went straight to voicemail. Finally, they found it, but pretended everything was okay. We will be continuing services with Putnam from now on...mistake to try Swickard again.

Zuhair not only helped me sell my Jeep at a fair price, allowing me to pay off what I owed, but he also assisted me in purchasing this amazing truck. His communication, support, and extensive network of connections, from dealerships to mechanics, are truly remarkable. He went above and beyond my expectations and got it done! I highly recommend working with him if you're looking for a vehicle, even one that's not readily available on the market--like mine, which came from an auction. Zuhair is amazing and super responsive when contacted ! Thank you Zuhair!

On October 1, 2024, I purchased a 2022 Kia Niro with 44,000 miles for $20,295 (excluding taxes and…read morefees) from Marcio Collier at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Redwood City, CA. I liked the car; it drove beautifully and seemed to be in excellent condition. Shortly after the purchase, on October 4 (three days after the purchase), the car began experiencing a serious issue: it entered "Turtle Mode," resulting in a complete loss of acceleration. This dangerous situation occurred while I was driving at approximately 65 mph on the freeway, and the vehicle only returned to "Normal Mode" after 5-10 seconds, leaving me vulnerable on the road. I promptly took the vehicle back to Enterprise, where Roger advised me to visit a local Kia dealer in Burlingame. He also assured me that the 'seven day return policy, no questions asked' would be extended "7 days, 70 days, whatever it takes". On October 7, the dealer inspected the vehicle but reported they could find nothing wrong. They suggested that if the issue recurred, I pull over and have the car towed. This response was unacceptable, given the severity of the problem, and I was hesitant to drive the car on the freeway. On October 8, I returned to Enterprise to discuss my options with Marcio and Olivia. While I understood that returning the car could result in significant financial loss, I stressed that I could not continue driving an unsafe vehicle. They agreed to send it to their recommended Kia dealer in Hayward for further inspection. During this time, Enterprise did provide a rental car at their cost; however, I incurred approximately $450 in insurance fees over the 31 days I had their rental. After holding my car until November 7, Enterprise informed me they could not replicate the issue but believed they had possibly addressed it by recalibrating the battery to 100%. Unfortunately, within days of receiving the car back, I faced the same problem again--loss of acceleration while driving on the freeway. I returned to Enterprise and assertively demanded to return the car. I could not jeopardize my safety by driving an unreliable vehicle. While Enterprise offered to sell me a higher priced car, which I may have considered under the circumstances, they wanted me to take a $3,000 loss on the car I had purchased from them after having driven it for a handful of days. Buyer beware. . .They do not stand by their commitment seven day return policy, no questions asked.
