I've been coming here for 2 years now, Great hole in the wall place. Clerk can be friendly at times, always helpful. Variety of everything you need for your small business or just making your personal sweets. Price's definitely beat the competitors local by (cake well-priced are ridiculous). I refrained from writing a review under the old ownership bc, they truly have great and hard to find items BUT I was always unhappy with the owners, unless you were their 'friend' the owner lady was mean. Bob, the new owner and his wife are so nice and chill but they will help you with a smile! LOVE it and recently even had someone from Pico drive down to check it out and SHE was really happy with the service! Great hard to find items with even MORE items than before! I went in for the very first time yesterday. I was very excited to see the variety of supplies they offer especially for sugar cookies. I am barely starting out with trying to make sugar cookies and I am super happy to have found this place. The cookie cutters are reasonably priced. I almost went to the bake shop down the street first. Thankfully I stopped here before because the prices for the same cookie cutters were more than twice as much at the cakewalk store compared to here. I can't wait to come back and buy more items. I'm not sure if it was the owners or employees helping us at the store but they went above and beyond in making my boyfriend and I feel welcomed and helped with any of our questions. read more

I love this store! Every single time I step foot in this store, Bob the owner is there to greet his customers with a great big smile on his face. There has never been a time I've gone in that store and not find what I'm looking for. He keeps his store well stocked with the shelves and shelves of colorful sprinkles to the many shades of candy melts amongst the vast array of candy molds. Whether one is decorating cookies, cakes or just browsing the store you'll never leave empty handed. If you can't find it on the shelves then Bob will go in the back and get it for you. Love this place. The guy that works here has always been helpful everytime! Always reminding me if I need anything else. And pointing out things when I don't see it. I probably have to stop by once a week at least. A lot of chocolate and Oreo molds boxes cake supplies. They have fillings for cake. Sprinkles. Cakepop supplies. Paper straws. And a great selection when it comes to icing coloring/gels/powder/and oil based for chocolate. They carry merckens chocolate too. Also they print out edible images. And do classes they have great customer service every time. And whenever I go he's always chit chatting to his customers like of they were family. I love it. I have been buying my supplies from our local Walmart/Target/Party City & have never been satisfied because they don't have all of the supplies that I need. Horrible customer service!!! Come in looking for mermaid cutter, as I was walking in the store the man just looked at me, I politely said good morning and he almost didn't respond. 3-5minutes after he offered to help. When I asked about his cutter making he rolled his eye and almost didn't know or didn't want to tell me the prices. He rolled his eyes again said anything you order won't be ready til Monday. It felt almost as he was telling me not bother to order anything pretty much! I also asked him about the brand or tips they carry and his response was "it varies" not bothering to mentioned 1 or 2 of the brands they had. Very disappointed as ig cookie makers in the inland empire seem to praise this place. I was def NOT IMPRESS AT ALL!!!! read more

Suzy's Sweet Tooth is under new ownership. I met the new owner Bob and he was very nice. New additions include cupcake containers, square cake boards (no more cutting 1/4 and 1/2 sheet boards anymore yay) and they now accept Visa/MC. He said that they will be offering edible images soon too. I was sorry to see the old owners leave but glad that the store wasn't closed afterall and glad to see some new changes :o) read more

One of the better cake and candy supply stores in the area. Suzy offers classes throughout the year in cake decorating that will beat anything you'll get at a big-box craft store. After the beginning class you will know how to transfer a design, figure pipe, do string and lattice work, make a variety of borders, and make roses, sweet peas, and other flowers. She carries current products but also has a lot of "vintage" products from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. If you're looking for something special, ask. WARNING: The owners have no patience with children who play with the cakes toys (and there is a lot of temptation for kids) so if you can't control your children all the time, don't take them in the store. They don't accept credit or debit cards but will take a check with id. read more

I moved to south OC and can't find a store like Suzy's. I go by when I'm in the area and stock up on unique cupcake papers, flavorings, royal fudge base, candy melts, and colorings. I came here with the original owners as well and am happy that Susys was bought by a more open minded type of owner. I loved the guy before too his grouchy personality entertained me, glad I was always on his good side. Haha. Love this spot! I've been to a few shops and this is by far the best one I've visited. My go to even though it's a bit far from me. They have the biggest variety of food coloring, compared to the other supply stores I've been too & They have a really good selection of cookie cutters as well. I have a passion for baking and have been getting my supplies from Sweet Mercantile Co. I needed some pie boxes but did not feel like driving for 10 miles to Sweet Merc. Googled up baking supplies near my area and I was so shocked how close this place is to me. So, I dropped by the place and got my boxes. But noticed they have a wide range of selection of everything. I threw a gingerbread house themed party & came here to get supplies for the frosting; regular frosting will, most likely, make your gingerbread house fall apart. I've tried and tried, and it just doesn't hold. The staff here suggested "Royal Frosting" which has meringue powder in it. I gave it a shot and it worked like a charm. I was able to get sprinkles and other topping goodies there too. They really came through. read more
