Such a huge menu! There's so many options I decided to stick with a classic Thai tea and it was pretty delicious I added condensed milk and boba. They had a variety of different toppings/boba/jellies and let you choose what you wanted in your drink. Service was extremely fast and he was very nice. I absolutely LOVE Bee & Tea. First, it's some of the best boba ever and I am a lover of boba tea! Second, the owners are so incredibly kind and have great customer service. My family and I decided to try to attempt to walk to Bee & Tea and made it after owner already closed up shop and was leaving for the night. He was so kind to actually re-open the shop late at night just so we can get our boba tea! Our dog even got to enjoy a boba or two. While waiting for my Mom before heading out to the San Gabriel Valley area yesterday, I took notice of Bee & Tea (B & T) boba shop that is in the same shopping center as Paradise Buffet. I've seen it many times, but never thought to try them out until now. Glad that I did! I resonate with the word "bee" as it has a special significance to me. I find its name "Bee & Tea" very cute. It would have been much cuter if it was "Bee Me & Tea"... maybe in the next lifetime. Hey, I'm a hopeless romantic LOL! I got a large Lavender Therapy with boba & egg pudding and I got my Mom a small Black Purist with the same toppings as my drink. Both drinks without ice of course. Let's keep the original flavors in the drink please! I did notice a slight half inch of liquids knocked off from the top which is okay better than 1 or 2 inches off the top like some other boba places I know that do knock off that much if no ice (just not cool in my book!). Large was a very good size cup for $6+. Small came in at $5+. I say GO for the LARGE! LOL My lavender drink was good, but it lacked some depth in lavender and tea flavor. I'm a very big fan of lavender so I prefer my drinks to be a bit stronger in that area. My Mom said she liked her drink... black tea had a good punch! Boba was very soft, chewy, bouncy, and it had the perfect sweetness! As for the egg pudding, it was indeed very silky, but I would have liked it a bit sweeter. They do put a good serving of the toppings which I love... thank you B & T! Staff was nice and friendly. Service was very quick. Prices are very reasonable. I am absolutely terrified of bees, but seeing how unique the menu offerings are here, I knew that I just had to suck up my fears and go! I'm going to pre-face this review by saying how outstanding the staff are, going above and beyond. I already thought it was pretty annoying that we got there 15-20 minutes before closing, but groups of people came in after us, some like 2-3 minutes before closing, with really complicated orders that replaced and removed things from pre-built drinks, yet the staff accommodated them all. That's great customer service! We got the: 1) Green Thailandia with Matcha boba: -No adjustments. -It's a Thai green tea. Tastes like a more muted Thai tea that isn't as sweet or dense with the mix of green milk tea in it as well. It's sweetened with condensed milk, so that made it additionally yummy too. -Went beautifully with the addition of the matcha boba. Smaller in size that standard boba, but had great texture consistency. 2) Rose Blossom -It's a jasmine green tea with rose and strawberry -I got this half sweet. Doing so kinda muted the fruity flavor, but enhanced the tea flavor. -Great pick me up to keep up later in the night. -Strong jasmine tea flavor with the subtle sweetness of strawberry and light floral hints of rose. The aesthetics of the store are cute as well. With lots of hexagonal designs resembling a honey comb, the anatomy of boba wall, some funny jokes/sayings posters on the walls, and a photo op wall near the front. Their stamp card system is SUPER cute as well. It's on their tablet, but the cashier stamped it with a physical metal stamp thing and little bees appeared on the stamp card part. Visited today, 08/21/21. This is my first time here. I got the Rose Blossom Green Tea with boba. 25% sweet and no ice as well. My drink was only $5.28. Drink was great! If you're okay with strong tea and less sugar then do 25%. If you're not a fan of strong tea then I would do 50% or normal if you're a sweet tooth. They have a lot of drink options, didn't have time to look at the entire menu and take pictures. I recommend trying this place out and will go back to try out their other drinks! They have a variety of milk teas, non milk teas, lemonades, fruit smoothies, acai bowls, taro and honeydew boba drinks, boba smoothies, special coffees and milk teas and steamed Asian buns. Adapting to Covid-19 safety precautions they have the clear plastic shield up in front of their cashier and boba barista, so that keeps them and the customers safe from each other's germs. Face masks are required and social distancing is reminded. I was in the area buying boba gifts for some of my loved ones so I can drop it off as a symbol of love while being separated in compliance with social distancing. I was asking if they had egg pudding products, but they instead had a taro pudding. That is a unique topping so I decided to get that for all of the orders. The texture is the same with the taro flavors while is really appreciated and enjoyable for the Vietnamese loved ones I was buying the boba for. I ordered all regular drinks because their regular size here is as big as other place's large and their large is superrrr huge. I ordered 3 Black Purists ($4.59/each) which is their house special of the Black Milk Tea with taro pudding, 1 Taronator ($4.59) which is their house special of a Taro Milk Tea with taro pudding, and lastly for myself a Lavender Therapy ($4.59) a Lavender Black Milk Tea with taro pudding. I enjoyed the taro pudding and the milk tea base, however I barely taste any of the lavender. I really would have enjoyed it more if I could have tasted more lavender. On the bright side, the recipients of my boba said they enjoyed their drinks. Either that or they are just being polite. I noticed Bee & Tea when my husband and I carpool home from work and get off the 10 fwy in Montclair. They are located north of the freeway and on the east side of Central Ave (Target is on the west side). They are located right between WaBa Grill and GameStop. There's also a Starbucks at the corner. On my day off from work, I walked one of my dogs at a nearby park and then came to Bee & Tea right at 11AM when they opened. To my surprise, there were already 3 customers ahead of me. There's no outdoor seating so I had to leave my dog in the car (parked in the shade under a tree). Other than boba tea, they offer smoothies, crushed fruit teas, cold brew coffee, lemonade, oatmeal bowls, acai bowls, steamed buns, soup, Asian wraps, salads and bowls. I ordered a Queen Bee (black milk tea, honey) with boba and I wanted to order a couple of their Steamed Buns (Bao). The guy taking my order mentioned if I wanted to save a little money, they had a Special for $9.95 I could get 3 Steamed Buns and a Milk Tea. I totally took his advice to go with the special and ordered the Shiitake & Vegetables, Char Siu Pork and Miso Steak buns. I also upgraded my milk tea to a large size. They use 100% raw organic honey in their Signature Boba. Overall, the texture of the boba was good (not too hard and had a nice chew), but not much tea flavor and a little too sweet. The buns themselves were on the small side and out of the 3 I tried, I liked the Miso Steak the best. I'd stop in again to try another drink and maybe one of their wraps or acai bowls. read more

Solid boba spot in Montclair which a huge parking lot making parking easy. This place has a slightly higher price point, but has a lot of cool specialty boba flavors and blends. My favorite is their Caramel Macchiato which was a solid choice with good flavoring. They also have milk teas with flavors such as pina colada, taro mixes, and other chocolate and coffee blends. While a lot of tea places are closed due to the COVID-19, I am happy to be able to find this location on Yelp to help my tea needs and craving. It was so rough having no tea for a week. It is my first time coming here so want to try the usual what I would order which were Honey Green Tea & Black Purist. It was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is even a rewards program so make sure to take advantage of it. Parking is not hard to find at all since it's in a plaza. I can't wait to come back to try other drinks. I end up coming back again to try Caramel Macchiato and S'mores. The Caramel Macchiato has a strong coffee taste if you like coffee while S'mores was really chocolatey. Personally enjoy taro drinks and decided to try their coco taro. I think their drinks are a bit sweet at their normal base sweetness, but it wasn't a problem for me.
