For those who've enjoyed the service provided I'm sure it's been an enjoyable exercise. Sometimes life changes and certain services are no longer needed in your life. We'll like those annoying gym memberships that you could t get rid off that what's this company is but more costly. I tried repeated to stop them from charge my account but they've done nothing but play games. I don't want their services but they won't cancel the account. This year 18 others have file complaints with BBB. The moral of the story is to think twice to make sure this is what you need and want in your life. This company has become a disease to my life, degrading mental and financial health. I've paid for four sessions and never received one. The sales guy Adam lied to me and now will not return a single text or voicemail. If I call the general number a very nice girl Naomi answers and says someone will call me back. It's been over two weeks and nobody has followed up. When I get transferred I just get sent to voicemail. I went with svetness because Adam said they had 3 personal trainers we certified in pre and postnatal training. Now they're saying they don't have anyone. It's just ridiculous that they can't own their mistakes and admit that Adam lied. This company is trash do not do business with them. They don't care about doing right by their customers and just want to collect your credit card info. There's plenty of reviews on google saying the same thing but I'm sure they won't change so they can take advantage of more people. Their salespeople don't go over the policies and lock you into a contract that automatically renews unless you give them a 30 day notice. The company will never give you any kind of heads up that the renewal is coming up and the trainers have no idea what's happening. They post their customer service operating hours as 7 days a week but I requested 3 call backs and tried to use the SMS service and never got anything. Terrible experience overall and I absolutely do not recommend Svetness. Company is simply not trust worthy and not worth interacting with. Zero focus on actual fitness, more of a trainer lead generation firm. Total waste of money in short. Overall: In 8 months I had 4 trainer and management was clueless and not helpful each time. - I finally walked away being owed 2k worth of sessions. There wasn't a single month were the trainers were able to maintain the schedule. Management: - Is completely incompetent, unreachable and add zero value. On 3 occasions Maria(the second account manager) was unaware if trainers are actually conducting the sessions and was unable to provide information or provided inaccurate information on makeup sessions, trainer replacements or billing. Trainers: Wildly inconsistent, simply not dependable and questionably qualified. -1 trainer walked off without a notice and no transition plan. -2 trainers left simply because they couldn't deal with their own management. - Too many late minute cancellations to list out. read more

I got told by the sales person that if I did not enjoy or want to continue with the contract I could have my money back "as if nothing happened". However as soon as I wanted to cancel it was my fault and I could not cancel and had to pay 50% of the contract policy over $2k for not providing a single service. And their reasoning was that they provided me with trainers but I never scheduled with them. Well the first trainer they assigned me to had 2 slot of availability and said I had to make those work no choice. The second trainer they assigned me to wanted me to drive over 45 minutes away and pay for a gym membership on top of the membership with Svetness. And the third was a female when I explicitly said I wanted male. Their customer service is beyond absurd and I highly recommend you take your business to a normal gym. So the training aspect of this company is just fine. They connect with you a local trainer and you're off! The trainer I had was good and I enjoyed working with him. The PROBLEM is the actual company and its billing policies. They have made it so that basically whatever plan you choose (3 months, 6 months, etc), at the end of the period, you will automatically be switched to month to month. They don't really say anything about it, but it's in the fine print. Then when you get charged again, they are like, Oh you need to give 30 day notice and that's already passed. So now you're stuck with any extra monthly charge. Then they are like, well, you have extra sessions, so let's put it on hold and you can try to use up those sessions. However, again, you have to give them 30-day notice, but only after the account is taken off hold. So then you get another month. It's quite the trick and they just keep charging and come up with all kinds of excuses why they can't give you back your money (mostly I can't see the 30-day notice in your account!). The company would be great if they treated their good customers well. I understand the policy is to prevent people from signing up for 12 months and then quitting in like 2 months, but I finished my contract and they keep trying to keep me in their grasp. The whole program is very easy and convenient and reasonably priced! but the BEST part was they paired me perfectly with my personal trainer. I've been working with him for 7 months now and he has the best attitude about training. He is positive, motivating without being drill sergeant like, reasonable expectations and extremely flexible. He tailored my workouts to my body and what I can or can't do- adapting basic exercises so they fit to my needs....and it's working!! First off...No service has been provided at all. I haven't met with a trainer at all. This company by far has the absolute worst customer service. They give you a specific number to call and that number is disconnected. I finally got a different number to contact the account manager. Which took 2 weeks for someone to get back to me. I explained my situation to him and was told he would call me back. Never heard from him again in fact, I was given a new account manager who blatantly ignores calls and emails. I left a vm explaining to them that I am currently homeless and that I need to cancel because I need to hold on to any little bit of money I have and the fact that I have never used the service once. Nothing was provided. I got a call today from the billing department and explained my situation and he said well you signed a contract and it will go to collections. This business is a straight scam!! I will never refer anyone to this company and I hope people find a company that is more reputable then this place. Contracted with this scam SVETNESS company end of december and after 2 sessions i realized they are a fraud! they make you sign a contract and you cannot end it even if you paid for sessions not received and being given insanely poor service, they refuse to end your contract even if you don't ask for a refund of not rendered services. They keep forcing you to give them money and threaten with collections when you clearly state the service was not provided. Oof what a bummer. didn't expect to be bullied, or belittled into making a snap decision during my zoom meeting. I was under the impression I was going to ask questions and get info on how this process works and to receive a quote. This middle man person was obviously doing a sales pitch, which is fine do your little sales pitch. He was telling me I must not have been serious and that i'm making excuses for not booking with them sooner than 2 weeks. $85 a session is his deal he was pitching me. Then continued to ask if money was an issue is that the reason i'm hesitant to book. Tried to make me feel dumb for my responses. Like are you well sir? How dare you. I was looking for a personal trainer to help improve my workout routine after a slow winter. I just needed someone to push me past my limits, which I found myself avoiding on my own. My personal trainer with Svetness, Loren, was tremendous. He understood my goals, created personalized routines for our workout sessions as well as routines for me to complete on my own on during the rest of the week. Not only is he an expert, but also he is a friendly and dedicated professional who was flexible enough to meet at 7:30AM every Monday in 30-degree weather and set up an outdoor gym. If anything, the program was too good because I am now motivated to take the lessons I learned and improve on my own. However, I do plan on returning to Svetness every other season to keep my fitness on track. Loren was a great trainer, but all the staff I encountered, from the account manager to salesperson, were friendly and helpful and were not simply interested in getting me to sign up. From a cost perspective, everything has been 100% transparent and its a great value for money. Svetness was also flexible in finding me the right trainer. The first trainer I was paired with wasn't able to meet outside or on my schedule, so Svetness quickly organized for me to match up with Loren. The responsiveness to my concern was remarkable. Svetness can clearly meet a range of fitness needs. The intensity of the fitness programs as well as the tone and attitude of the trainer will depend on what you need, which is the sign of truly professional trainers. read more

wow... just wow. Due to the incompetence and selfishness of the assigned personal trainer I was never able to get started with the personal training with Svetness. Between multiple Svetness contacts who came and went to help me with this training contract Svetness either chose to ignore me (for months) and then threatened to send me to collections. My account was "frozen" but that status was never relayed to me via direct contact with their billing department. In the end after escalating this fiasco all the way to their new VP, who did text me, the only way I was able to extract myself from the clutches of their ridiculous contract was to agree to a buyout for over $1400.00. I NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE TRAINING SESSION WITH A TRAINER AND IT STILL COST ME TO GET THESE CHARLATANS OUT OF MY LIFE. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND DON'T SIGN THEIR CONTRACT. THERE IS NO ESCAPE/RELEASE WORDING IN THE CONTRACT IF THEIR EMPLOYEES FAIL TO PERFORM. A one-star rating is too much for Svetness. ZERO stars is more appropriate. Starting dealing with Svetness 3 months ago and was super exited. Spoke with an account manager who told me that after using up my purchased lessons IF I wanted I can continue on a month to month basis. After 3 months automatically started being charged for additional months. With out me agreeing to continue. Apparently this was in the contract! If you are like me and rely on the word of a serious professional you will be fooled. On top of this, the initial trainer would cancel my sessions constantly ! At least once or twice a week. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Do not sign up, it's a trap. They will not let you change your mind. So be absolutely sure you're okay with being matched randomly with any trainer that you can't meet before you commit. I repeat. You cannot change your mind or get out of the contract after you sign it. They will make you pay the remaining balance of the contract. That's not changing your mind. I did not feel that Svetness had my personal interests at heart. I repeatedly asked for a female trainer which they did not provide me and did not give a reason as to why. I regret signing the contract, because of it's inflexibility. That was a foolish decision on my part. Their marketing team is very good, but they underdeliver. Additionally, since I signed up, I have never once spoken to the same person twice besides my trainer. The consultation call person was very effective as a listener and as a marketing strategy for making me feel heard, but after that they underdeliver. I think that the phone call was entirely a farce, because neither of the trainers I worked with seemed to know anything about me before I started. He wrote a note and I put in my cancellation right away after signing up. They refuse to let me cancel and want to charge me over $1000 to cancel. Now they are threatening collections when I never received services. Then to top it off, you can get ahold of NO ONE at the company. They don't answer the phone and refuse to call. They only send threatening emails from a generic address. Beware!!!!!! The trainers are not the issue, THIS COMPANY IS!!!! Already filed with the BBB but they closed the case due to Svetness saying all they needed was a doctors note which had already been provided. My primary issue with this company is that they will lock you into month to month even if you request to cancel your contract. I was billed over thanksgiving after I canceled at the beginning of the month and expected to go month to month when I would be traveling and not available, which is why I cancelled. I was given a very robotic, too bad you have to complete another month. And was not refunded. Very poor style, as I was having a good experience up until I was charged on a holiday weekend. You are fooling yourself if you believe they care about their customers/clients, especially when related to unexpected medical conditions that arise without explanation. They will not work with you in anyway unless you render medical information that shows what your dealing with, the length of which it will effect you, how long you will be treated, etc. Zero consideration and no sympathy or understanding so unless you 1000% know you aren't getting cancer tomorrow, run the other direction. I'm lucky that my total loss is only $1,000 after paying out the early termination fee. Kelsea is an amazing personal trainer. She brings tons of skill, passion and science to her approach. She's exceptionally smart and thoughtful. She's highly emotionally intelligent, and knows when to push you to do your best, and knows when your body needs to dial it back so you don't overextend or injure yourself. The workouts are always fun and she tries to introduce new things from time to time to keep things fresh. She's also right there during the exercises with you, which is super motivational. Definitely the best personal trainer I've ever had. Highly recommend! read more
