Prices have obviously gone up but they have added a whole new storefront since my last visit. Unfortunately the only had 1 single serving bottle of raw milk (bottled 6 days prior) available when I went on the morning of 5/16/2022. I got it and it was less than $4. The shop has a TON of pastries, jams, honey and raw meats for sale in addition to dairy products. My sister and her boyfriend got pastries and the cream top milk but because raw milk is illegal in Nevada where we live, we were disappointed that more raw milk wasn't available when we stopped by. Maybe next time they'll have more raw milk in stock! I tested positive for Covid two days after visiting so the two girls working the opening shift on 5/16/2022 need to get tested.

The cold brew was average. It was too watery. The cafe has a nice decor. Service was quick.

You can watch them milk the cows

Love the milk, I am lactose intolerant, and I seem to tolerate this better than store bought.

At a fish house, the same heartfelt enthusiasm fuels their suggestions, their pride illuminating every dish they serve. But why is it, when we reach out about their pies--those tender, comforting slices--their response is silence? No advice, no hints, no warmth--just a cold, dismissive "I don't eat pie. It's been six years since I had pie. It's just not something I eat." Those are the words from the very people who work here, strangers to the simple joy that a good pie can bring. No effort to tempt, no desire to share a slice of happiness or to welcome us back. It's as if they've given up entirely on creating an experience, on making us feel valued, on making us crave more. And even as signs invite us to indulge--"Try our butter, cheese, fudge"--we walk away empty-handed, denied even a sample to taste the passion behind their products. This place, with its dusty buggies parking spot out front, presents itself as an Amish-inspired haven, yet it feels hollow--more of a tourist trap than a genuine slice of heritage. It's a place that seems to have forgotten the soul of community, the warmth of tradition, and the simple act of sharing something truly special. And I can't help but wonder--why settle for empty gestures and sterile responses? Why not open your hearts, embrace the spirit of true hospitality, and let us taste the love you claim to carry? I'll look forward to March 14.

Oh I wish I lived closer! I ordered the fajitas wrap with cream cheese. Tasty but a little small. Next time, I'm gonna order the HOSS! It looked fantastic! And make sure you go to the back of the building and check out the bakery. The fresh smells of bread! And the prices are great! Homemade bread for $3.50?! Can't beat that!! And wonderful service to boot!

I still stock up on bargains at Costco and Sam's but I enjoy the deli and bakery at Fresh Market. They are several notches above delis and bakeries at most groceries. The employees are super friendly. This week, I had to return something and was impressed with how easy and pleasant it is to do that. I bought a bag of rotten lemons. That can happen at any grocery store. The lemons were in a yellow bag and not easy to see and they hadn't started smelling yet. I was amazed at how quick and easy the return was and how friendly the employee handling the return was. Even though Fresh Market is a little pricey, they do have specials

With the mission to bring delicious prepared meals, exceptional quality meat and seafood, peak season produce, decadent baked goods, and fresh seasonal flowers, it certainly has succeeded its mission. The high quality and specialty products unfortunately also carry with it the higher price tags. The Fresh Market is among the most expensive of the high end markets. They have an Ultimate Loyalty Experience, but the cashier couldn't tell me the actual benefits. I think it's similar to Reasor's Rewards with weekly specials. They reportedly have the Tuesday specials (to be confirmed): ground chuck and boneless chicken breast for $2.99 per pound. They also have The Little Big Meal that rotates weekly. For those interested in cooking, they have many recipes on their websites which is unique. If you love the neatness and cleanliness of Reasor's then you are going to love The Fresh Market. I cruised through the store and was thoroughly impressed. Shelves and produce were neatly stocked. Deli products and meats looked really fresh. The quality was definitely there as well as the price tags. I am just not sure if I am the target audience of The Fresh Market, definitely gearing more toward affluent people.
