Original Wiener Schnitzel with red cabbage, spätzle and mushroom sauce

UPDATE - much better food this time around. We ordered the sausage sampler and the wiener schnitzel and both were good. The mushroom sauce in the side, was spicy which I wasn't expecting though.

High quality food, excellent service and we love the ambiance. Anytime we are in Tulsa we like to eat here at least once.

    Schweinahauxen an amazing special.

Yes. Just. Yes. Go here and go hungry. Siegi's is a Tulsa institution, featuring sausages made literally in their backyard at their own meat processing plant. This German gastrostop has recipes that have been handed down through the owners family for generations and taste like they're straight from the old world. If you're going on a weekend be sure to ask what their specials are...they have some real treats. Service in this family owned spot is always friendly. Their team knows their menu and will warn you if you're ordering more than can be eaten in one meal (the struggle is real). It's a casual stop that has a home feel to it. No over the top decor or gimmicks. Just tasteful touches to bring to mind the Austrian mountainside.

Part restaurant, part market and deli, this German eatery can be a one stop shop for selected goods. This was a stressful experience as I am not familiar with German food but the menu was fairly simple, revolving around SAUSAGES. The sausage plate is a popular dish at this restaurant. I got the grobe bratwurst and Polish sausage with sauerkraut and potato salad. My favorite was the potato salad. The sausages were okay. I just prefer Vietnamese sausages over these. I got the order to go, too intimidating to dine-in on the first visit. Order took while to complete but there's a market and deli for customers to check out. The deli sells their own products which is nice. Beautiful restaurant overall, very clean and tidy. The market and deli take half of the building so the restaurant side is not too big.

Apple strudel and coffee for dessert!

My wife and I tried Siegi's for the first time today and were blown away. The food was absolutely delicious yes, but it was the service and vibe that really made this place special. Tanya our server made our day; she was so passionate and sweet and sold us from beer, meal, dessert, and coffee because she's charismatic AND knows what she's talking about because she went to college in Germany! I can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back (:

Two sausage platter: Weisswurst, Grobe Bratwurst, German potato salad, and sauerkraut.

First off, they serve you some free bread. It wasn't anything to write home about. In fact, it was bland even with the butter. The experience got a lot better when the main dishes arrived. I ordered the two sausage platter with Weisswurst and Grobe Bratwurst. The Grobe was really good. I liked the texture of the Weisswurst but the flavor wasn't as great as the Grobe. It comes with German Potato Salad and Saurkraut. Both were delicious. I finished my plate, and I was stuffed! My wife ordered the Jager Shnitzel. It came with fried potatoes and red cabbage. I tasted the sides. The cabbage was very sweet, but that's usually how German red cabbage is. I tried her potatoes, and they were really good for simple sliced fried potatoes. The portion she received was enough to feed her three times. We took a box back to the hotel. Overall, the prices are on point with what you get, and we enjoyed our dinner. We shopped at the market that is attached. I recommend trying Siegi's if you are in Tulsa.

Wow! What a plate of flavor! These sausages are all home made, and were absolutely delicious! I had the Grobe Bratwurst and a kasewurst, my son had a Marshall's brat and a kielbasa, and we all had red cabbage and German potato salad. The red cabbage was sweet, and had apple in it...it was awesome! My son thought it was too sweet, so I ate his too! The sausages were wonderful...a great variety of flavor! To accompany my sausages I had a beer...a LITER of beer, which my son said I desperately needed, and who am I to say no...1 liter of hafewiezen...unfiltered....and it was perfect... Pausing for a moment for dramatic effect as I remember the flavors.....and then, when we thought we had achieved a perfect balance...we were shown the dessert menu, and we were blown away...German pretzel bread pudding and cheesecake...shared among the table. Wow again. A perfect ending. Here's the deal...you want authentic German food...this is it. Sausage plate ran about $14 each, liter of beer was another $14, desserts $5-$6 each. For three of us, the bill including tip was just over $90, but it was a good value for the money because the flavors were awesome. As a side note, service was wonderful, warm and friendly. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

I still stock up on bargains at Costco and Sam's but I enjoy the deli and bakery at Fresh Market. They are several notches above delis and bakeries at most groceries. The employees are super friendly. This week, I had to return something and was impressed with how easy and pleasant it is to do that. I bought a bag of rotten lemons. That can happen at any grocery store. The lemons were in a yellow bag and not easy to see and they hadn't started smelling yet. I was amazed at how quick and easy the return was and how friendly the employee handling the return was. Even though Fresh Market is a little pricey, they do have specials

With the mission to bring delicious prepared meals, exceptional quality meat and seafood, peak season produce, decadent baked goods, and fresh seasonal flowers, it certainly has succeeded its mission. The high quality and specialty products unfortunately also carry with it the higher price tags. The Fresh Market is among the most expensive of the high end markets. They have an Ultimate Loyalty Experience, but the cashier couldn't tell me the actual benefits. I think it's similar to Reasor's Rewards with weekly specials. They reportedly have the Tuesday specials (to be confirmed): ground chuck and boneless chicken breast for $2.99 per pound. They also have The Little Big Meal that rotates weekly. For those interested in cooking, they have many recipes on their websites which is unique. If you love the neatness and cleanliness of Reasor's then you are going to love The Fresh Market. I cruised through the store and was thoroughly impressed. Shelves and produce were neatly stocked. Deli products and meats looked really fresh. The quality was definitely there as well as the price tags. I am just not sure if I am the target audience of The Fresh Market, definitely gearing more toward affluent people.
