Steak Stuffers is one of those you either know and love, or you have never heard of it. Staff is absolutely incredible, friendly and highly efficient. The Cheese Steak is one of the best in the region. My family also enjoys the Chicken Parmesan and Meatball Sandwiches. The fries are amazing and always served hot. To be honest, Ive yet to find a good cheesesteak in Oklahoma since my place in Oklahoma City closed years ago. Ran across Steak Stuffers USA by accident and was highly impressed. They have a huge menu with all sorts of variations on the cheesesteak. I think they have other sandwiches too, but I don't really care. I came for the cheesesteak. My favorite option is on the menu so, mushroom cheesesteak was what I ordered. It was delicious! So much so, I ordered one to go for the next day. The one thing that often gets overlooked with a cheesesteak is the quality of bread. 9 of 10 places cheap out or simply don't choose a good bread that holds up. This bread at Steak Stuffers is legit. The dining area is done nicely and it's clean. There service was quick and very pleasant. Yes it's a bit costly but everything is as of late. After a long workout ‍ I decided to try as it's in the same parking lot as Vasa. This spot is small town finest but big city taste. My Philly was STUFFED my fries were crispy and their service was memorable. I ate this for lunch at dinner and re heats very well. My family love this place and they are the best Philly s in town. Today we ordered on the Yelp app for delivery since I am recovering from a procedure. We ordered 2 Philly s cheese steak stuffers. After nearly 2 hours and the app showing out for delivery an hour ago but no driver info the app says there is a problem and to contact support. Turns out the sandwich's had been sitting on our porch for quite some time and as I write this the app still shows no update. Best cheesesteak in Tulsa. A six inch will fill you up. I had mine with jalapeños and it did not disappoint. It too spicy, but just enough zing to tickle the tastebuds. A guilty pleasure. I have been visiting Steak Stuffers for the past 10 years, to get a great Steak and Cheese sandwich. A few days ago I stopped by in the late afternoon with my wife and two small children. Our timing was such that we were at the end of lunch and before dinner rush, so only a few other patrons. Gave 'em a one cause I can't give less. Lol, had heard good things and a buddy offered to buy dinner. Ordered a cheese/steak wrap with mushrooms - had to repeat the order 4 times then once again to a manager. I may be old but can still speak clearly. They ask if I want onions and peppers - I said hold the peppers. Anyway I get it, was disappointed in the meat, in Philly it is chopped steak this was more like ground hamburger. The first couple of bites and there is no flavor, no mushrooms nor any onions. I opened it up, dumped all fillings - no mushrooms, one onion and two pieces of pepper. I retrieved a fork, added ketchup and ate what I could. The cheese was like canned cheese whiz - really nasty. To each their own but this was not what I was expecting, not even close. The jalapeño hot wheels with ranch and our Philly's with cheese whiz were delicious! They had an up charge on meat due to Covid unfortunately but totally understandable. Best place to get a philly in Oklahoma. Only negative is the pricing I believe it was $32 for two of us to eat. I got two meals here the other day from the drive thru although the food was fresh, half of my order was wrong. The person at the window taking my order had an AirPod in that was facing the customer, they kept having to lean out the window and turn their head 180 degrees to the ear that was clear. If you want a good philly in Tulsa I'd suggest going out for your way to come here. I say that as a person who had been to Philadelphia, eaten at both Pat's and Geno's and several other spots. The sandwiches here are full of flavor, are served on fresh bread and are customizable. I like mine with provelone or traditional cheese whiz and I always get them with onions and jalapenos. Most days the half sandwich is enough to make my gut bust but when feeling a tad more hungry then normal I'll tackle a full one. I like how when you walk in you can see the grill full of delicious meat and enjoy the aroma while waiting in line. There are also several great deep fried sides to try so feel free to indulge. Steak Stuffers is a place that does old school Phillies and does them right. The Wife works down the street, and time to time I schlep my way into Tulsa to join her for lunch, and Steak Stuffers is one of the places we gravitate to more often than not. I have to confess I've not had anything other than the basic Philly beefsteak sandwich, because that's how I roll. I get the good stuff and I stick with it. Right down to the cheez whiz topping. Stopped by here for lunch today and really enjoyed our cheesesteaks. Not sure if the "steak" was steak or ground beef, it was still delicious! I mean ground beef is steak right? I purchased 2 #1 combos which come with fries, sandwich and drink. Fries were crinkle fries which I like and I believe it's a 20 oz drink. We enjoyed them grease and all.
