Okay, this pool is honestly a real hidden gem in Las Vegas! Came here on a Monday and it was super chill from the moment we arrived. Check-in was easy, quick, and friendly. The whole vibe here is cozy and relaxing, especially since it wasn't overcrowded at all during the weekday. After we sat down, our server Katherine greeted us right away. She was super attentive, friendly, and timed everything perfectly the entire time we were there. She checked on us often without being overbearing, which made the experience even better. The menu is pretty basic, but honestly the food was GREAT. Every dish we had was delicious, well balanced, and the portions were perfect. The drinks were also really good and reasonably priced for what you get. The Señorita Margarita was sooo yummy, and I also had a glass of prosecco that was really good too. The atmosphere here is such a vibe. They had a great playlist playing, the energy felt relaxing and upbeat, and the pool itself looked really nice after the remodel. Everything looked modern, stylish, and very clean. Even the landscaping around the pool was beautiful and well maintained. Definitely will be coming back. Cool place to relax and more family oriented. Not the place to come if you're one of those types who wanna "see and be seen" like those cesspools of nastiness at the better known pools (Rehab, Wet Republic, etc) which is totally fine with me! Pool Attendants were great, always checking up if we needed anything, and totally took care of us throughout the day. Only one pool and a hot tub there, but there are a lot of loungers and ample shaded areas. Hours are 9am-5pm with a $5 cover for locals on Weekends, pool attendant didn't charge us though, and towels are also provided. Water bottles are allowed and their drinks were okay as was their pizza which was from inside the food court. Looking for a place to unwind without the party scene? Went for the Wine Down Wednesday event, sponsored by Sunny 106.5. Two free pours (generous) is worth checking it out, and additional glasses are reasonably priced as well. Nice selection of wines at 2 stations and food is available for purchase. The pool is pretty tiny, as is the hot tub. No one at the Wine Down event was in either, and it was pretty windy. Live music and plenty of seating added to the venue's ambiance. Sunny 106.5 gives away stuff during the event too. I was at the Silverton for reasons unrelated to the wine event, so it was a nice addition to the small jackpot I earned in the casino! This event is ending in May, probably because no one will want to lounge around when it's 110 out there. I would return if they start it up again post summer. read more

Quaint little pool inside the Silverton Hotel. The pool isn't too big, but big enough to enjoy a nice pool day with the family. Cabanas are furnished with 2 plush single couches and a small double. Love the wrap around shades to block out more sun and heat. Servers were attentive and friendly. They stop serving food at 3 and drinks at 4:30 which is pretty early considering the sun doesn't go down till around 8pm in the summer. People usually enjoy the pool until maybe 6 so they are missing out on some profit earning dollars. Clientele at the pool is a bit sketch, people are free to just walk and in and out, even if your not a hotel guest. read more

Small pool with a chill vibe. Free for locals. No one is checking keys or ID so really free for anyone. Drinks are inexpensive at only $7 a cocktail or $25 a pitcher. Even with the 20% auto gratuity it is much less than other pools. There are plenty of loungers and day beds. Cabanas are very inexpensive with only a small food and beverage minimum. I used to frequent this pool 3 summers ago. We had planned to make this our pool this summer but I think I will be looking at the M pool now. I like that this is off the Strip, as I'm looking to relax at the pool and not party hard core with the party people at the major strip hotels. We went twice this passed weekend, and I will explain why they now deserve such a low rating. First day we had gone, we grabbed two lounge chairs and decided to have a couple cocktails. When we get our check, our bill was $75, so we leave $90. We get home and start thinking "why was our bill so high"? We called the pool and they told us there is an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, and that we should know that because it is clearly written on the menu. We tell the mgr "we didn't even look at a menu, so how would we know that if that wasn't disclosed to us OR written on the receipt" (there is still a spot on the receipt to write in a tip) no where on the receipt does it disclose this, nor did the waitress let us know. So essentially she received a 40% tip. They ended up refunding us the tip that was written in. So, we had plans to return in two days, as we had reserved a cabana. Again, it was my friend and I, when the waitress had asked if anyone was joining us we said possibly one more, she tells us they will have to pay the $5 entry fee for the weekends. What? I'm paying for a cabana, no way are they going to pay an entrance fee. The rules of the cabanas are, Monday - Thursday: $75 food and beverage minimum & Friday - Sunday: $100 food and beverage minimum. You don't actually pay for the cabana, which is a great deal, I could easily spend that on food and drinks. Cabanas are minimalistic (no TV or fridge). End of the day, we recieve our bill, again, nothing that states automatic gratuity on the check, nor did our waitress say anything. Only when I asked did she disclose that. I'm sorry that is really shitty business. That being said, here are the pros and cons of this place; Pros: 1. Close to home and off the strip, it's nice to have somewhere close to home to just chill. 2. Decent lounge chairs & umbrellas 3. Decent size pool, nice temperature 4. Cheap price on cabana rentals 5. Background music Cons: 1. You will be surrounded by people from the 909 area code, i.e. the Inland Empire. 2. Small food menu, the food is from the Sundance Grill, their cafe, if you want something that is on the Sundance Grill menu but not on the pool menu, they will make you go get it yourself, not run it to you. 3. Small towels, bring your own or ask for two. 4. NO BATHROOM OUTSIDE. Who designed this? You have to walk inside the casino, through registration, to go to the bathroom. When you see the kids in the pool ALL day and not take a bathroom break, you know what's going on. 5. Watered down cocktails. read more

I was invited here last minute and of course I had to accept, because who doesn't like chillaxin in a cabana poolside with a few cocktails, food and great laughs?! Exactly. So, food was served hot, drinks were sweet, but tasty and the atmosphere on a Saturday was...kids mostly. They either need a DJ or a much better soundtrack, because it was rough at times. It felt as though the few servers there were in training, because the service was pretty slow. No apologies given and that wasn't cool. It wasn't busy (plenty of open cabanas and comfy lounge chairs) so the clean up should've been more timely. It's hot and there's all types of bugs out here. read more

Came here for a concert which was pretty cool. But the pool was kind of depressingly small and uninviting overall. The hot tub is a hole in the ground, and the drinks were pretty expensive. Came down to check out the Wine down Wednesday. First two free samples of wine is free, after that you can purchase tickets to get more wine! Really it was a deal at $4.00 a glass! I wish I could remember the name of the winery(I'm sometimes forgetful on details :( ) It was good wine, they had a Sauvignon Blanc, a Rose and one other which I don't remember the type. But by far was the entertainment! A one man band type guy, The Cornwell Project, preformed by Jeremy Cornwell was absolutely fantastic! He pre-recorded beats before each song then sang and played the guitar and controlled the beats with his footboard. Wow! Really awesome! Looks like he plays at The Linq but definitely check him out! I'm a huge fan of the Sway Pool. The Sway is not pretentious like the major hotel/casino pools on the strip. What you see here, is what you get. Quaint cabanas for $50. Split this with 3-4 friends/family members...what a deal! $5 floatation rentals? Now that's just nickel & diming it... The palm trees & lime green umbrellas set as a backdrop for the aqua blue lounge pads makes for festive yet serine poolside scenery. Bring your big beach towel unless you want to use up two pool towels to cover the lounge chairs head to toe. The pool itself is quite small in comparison to other casino pools & is only 4.5 feet at it's deepest end. Tiny round 5-6 person in-ground jacuzzi on a timer seems quite inconspicuous & almost unnoticeable. The pool area is in need of an outdoor shower system, restroom facilities & or changing area. Local Vegas residents are welcomed & usually spotted as they change into their pool attire under wrapped towels...there's really something spectacular about a woman that can change into a 2-piece bikini from under a sundress in under 15 seconds! The poolside wait staff tries to be as quick as possible. Blondie pool server with the stars tats up her back, shoulder & arms is fast & accommodating. The few hours that we were poolside, she always made sure we were taken care of or asked if we needed anything never leaving my drink glass dry. Drink & food prices are reasonable. Outdoor speakers pump out top 40 throughout. This is a great pool for the whole family. However, I'm always weary of the kids & tweens who spend most all day in the pool or poolside who seem never the need for a restroom break. I attended a yelp CMYE here on Saturday night to watch the Fatal 80s in concert. The pool area was very nice and we had the perfect weather. We had a section of 3 cabanas and lounge chairs. Everything was very nice and comfortable. All of the staff we met were great and very enthusiastic about the concert series. I particularly enjoyed this concert as I am a big fan of 80s music. The band was a great choice for this concert, as they interacted with the crowd around the venue, and guests could even swim during the concert. There was an outdoor bar as well. We got free pairs of tickets for future concerts by checking into the Silverton Casino, and I think we will be back for the tribute to No Doubt soon! read more

We were looking for a pool that was free to locals and hit the jackpot! We came around 9:45am (pool opened at 9a) and there was still a bunch of open seats. The pool is definitely on the small size but perfect for us. The bar & food service opens at 11 am. They have a nice menu of food & drinks and service directly to your chairs or cabanas. We ended up getting a cabana ($100 F&B min) which is a STEAL. They have awesome vodka pitchers for $25 and gets you about 4.5 drinks. The pink bikini was our favorite, basically a sweet lemonade with vodka. We also ordered the asian chicken salad & chicken fingers. The salad was huge and refreshing. Chicken fingers & fries were standard. Our server Ashley was attentive and gave great recommendations as far as drinks & food went. The pool never got crazy busy but definitely filled up more around 1p/2p. Come early! Can't wait to return! read more

Preface: Please note that this rating is based on my experience with cabana service only. Sway is a cool place overall, but beware of guest service opportunities in this area.... I'm a regular guest at Sway; nearly every weekend my wife and I visit the Silverton and have always enjoyed ourselves due to the great pricing on drinks, wonderful service at by the staff and the calm not-so-crowded atmosphere. This weekend was special though, it would be the first time I would rent a cabana at the property as I wanted to kick my birthday weekend off in style. My experience could have been better. First, let's start with the cabanas themselves. Amenity rich, they are not. You have a love seat, coffee table, and a couple chairs. You also have a couple of loungers in front of your rental. All of this is standard stuff. What's missing is anything else, which is okay considering this isn't necessarily a strip resort. A couple added features, such as a mini safe and a small flat screen TV could go a long way should Silverton decide to remodel in the future. The actual food and beverages never disappoint. The drinks specials are always top-notch and the pricing is amazing for them. We had the chicken fingers, as well as the Lobster Rolls (AMAZING!). In correlation to the cabana though, a $150 food and drink minimum for what is essentially covered seating may be excessive, though. I constantly felt like I was being ripped off by paying the higher when there was an abundance of other cabanas as well as umbrella-covered loungers available to sit at. In my poolside experience, when the demand is not present, management should make the call to drop pricing to a more standard level so that the guest doesn't feel like they are paying a premium just to say they have special seating, when they could have obviously sat for free in any number of empty seats. This was minor and understandable though; hey, I agreed to the charges, after all. (Usually the pricing is a $100 F&B minimum, but it was 4th of July weekend. -- Side note: If you are charging more for a holiday, maybe consider a DJ or something special added to the day. This would also drive demand up a bit.) What isn't minor or understanding is that when you have a 20% auto-gratuity added to your cabana deal, you should get better service. When being seated, the server needs to stay with the guest and take the first order unless they specifically tell you to come back in a few minutes. We were given a menu and abandoned. I had to walk my initial order to the bar. When the order came, the pitcher of Pink Bikini was placed in front of us and then promptly abandoned again. Every other time I've rented a cabana in this city, our initial drinks are poured (whether from a pitcher or bottle service) and served before the server walks away. When the food came and we finished, the server picked up our dish, leaving empty ranch containers on the table, and bolted again. It wasn't until my friend, who shared the cabana with me struck a conversation up with the server, that she began to pay attention more to us and began delivering more personal service. Mind you, this was nearly two hours into our stay. Shouldn't the conversation be the other way around? Also, when presented with my bill, she didn't stick around to take my method of payment; I had to walk to the bar AGAIN to settle up. Really? I just tipped you 20%, for what? Food and drink delivery? What about the experience? What about making us feel welcomed and like I'm valued? Great guest service is not negotiable. This is how I felt about the service on Sunday. I wouldn't personally blame the server in this case; this may be protocol at Silverton. I'm thinking that because they aren't a luxury pool, the service aspect isn't emphasized in cabana services. In that case, there is a training opportunity there that needs to be addressed. I will return to the Silverton Sway pool in the future, as I think it's a great place overall. I'll likely never purchase a cabana again, though. read more

They have a bar as well as waitresses that walk around the pool area taking drink orders. We love the Sway Pool. It's not like a loud and rowdy Strip pool, which is what we like so much. We rent a Cabana about every other weekend and have gotten to know the staff fairly well. The cabana's are $100 Fri-Sun and $75 Mon-Thurs. If there is a poolside concert, then the cabana's are $150. The prices are the food/beverage minimum for the cabana. They have bottle service and a food menu with salads, apps, sandwiches and pizza for poolside lunch. There are six cabanas: 101-103 are pretty much in the sun and 104-106 are on the shady side of the pool. The cabanas are not the full enclosed cabanas that you find for $500+/day on the strip, but are nice for what we pay. They have a loveseat, two chairs, coffee table and two chaise lounges. Lots of pillows included. Each side of the cabana has curtains you can keep tied back or close for more privacy or shade. The service is much better than what we would get on the strip. It's quick and friendly. So far we've encountered Brittany, Sarah, Dallas, Megan and Joey and all of them have already made it a point to know our names and preferences. Precious (Manager) is always friendly and accommodating to our every whim. A huge part of our coming back are the staff and their great attitudes (and lack of attitude if you get my drift). It's a family friendly pool, but it is never overrun with kids and it's fairly quiet most days. Yesterday I actually fell asleep on the lounger for a while. I recommend highly to locals who want a quiet day at the pool! read more

As a local this is the best pool experience in Vegas. Period. Locals are free during the week. $5 on weekend (or holidays). Drinks are extremely reasonably reasonable. $8! Versus $14+ at the other pools. Its a small pool but never crowded. Kids are not allowed unless they are hotel guests. Lounge chairs with umbrellas are FREE. That just doesn't happen in this town. The prices on cabanas are also reasonable. Weekdays if you spend $75 on food/drink there is no cabana charge, it's yours. $100 on weekends (holidays). They also have floaties/raft rentals for $5. The background music is just that, background music. Not loud at all. It is a nice relaxing time at the pool if that is what you are looking for in your day at the pool. There is a sign not to be missed "20% gratuity added to every transaction" posted on the bar when you walk in. So remember this when closing out your tab. Also when you have a cabana with friends they will not split the tab, one card only. So bring cash. Still the best pool experience in Vegas if you aren't looking for a night club AT a pool. read more
