I was just passing through Rochester when I started hearing some noise coming from one of my rear…read morewheels. Luckily, I was recommended to Anwar at Rochester Auto Service, and I'm very glad I found him. Anwar quickly diagnosed the issue and confirmed that I had a bad rear wheel bearing. While inspecting the vehicle, he also found that my brakes were significantly worn, with the rotors showing a lot of rust and pitting. He gave me a couple options and took the time to show me images of the brakes and their condition, which helped me understand exactly what he was seeing and why he recommended the service. I really appreciated that he put safety first rather than just doing the minimum repair. The work was done quickly and professionally, which was especially important since I was only passing through town. Everything has been working great since the repair. He also went above and beyond in ways I really appreciated, taking care of a couple additional things for me while I was there. What really impressed me was the follow up. Anwar called afterward to make sure everything was going well with the new brakes and reminded me to have the lug nuts checked for proper torque after driving about 100 miles. That kind of follow up and attention to detail is something you don't always get from an auto shop. I highly recommend Rochester Auto Service and Anwar. Tip Top managed to piece it back together, and were even honest about "this might not be right - we weren't expecting it to be that bad. Come back if it doesn't work" (I didn't have my starter on me at the time). It's also worth a mention that the gentleman there was the only person working, said he had just bought the shop from his cousin right before the COVID-19 crisis and yet managed to have a sterling attitude and the utmost professionalism. Prices were also very manageable. The turnaround was half of what was forecasted. Flawless work, great job cleaning up. Won't go elsewhere in Roch.

The one thing I like about Automotive Procare is that they take pictures and send you information on exactly what was checked, what is looking wrong. It was nice to see that issues I brought up in the past at other auto shops weren't addressed, such as air filter issues. Here, they seem to access the whole car! They also provide a shuttle to get ya home as they work on your car, which is a plus for me. Following the full car assessment, I wish I got a call regarding the quote, rather I had to call in to get the quote as I waited for quite awhile. They did ask to keep my car overnight to look at it in the morning which I said yes too. I called in late afternoon the following day as I was concerned I didn't get a call back. Which they replied it's been good and ready all day. It would've been nice to get a call since I had to push back a lot of errands. Overall, I'm happy with the service. I can't say if I know the cost of my services was fair or not, but my car is in working order again!
