I'll start with the food, delicious! I've had the strawberry salad with chicken and the Caprese salad. Both were fantastic and incredibly fresh. The mozzarella on the Caprese salad tasted like they made it that morning. Definitely, come for the food, but stay for the beer which they brew themselves. I had a flight and they were all great. Nothing strange but they do pack a punch. There's hops plants growing on the patio and the decor inside is awesome. The service was excellent and easy on the eyes. ;-) This place is slightly off the beaten path as far as restaurants go, which makes it ideal. It's a safe little part of downtown with tons of parking. Why this place was never on my radar before is beyond me, but it is now. The hours are a bit limiting, but I guess that's how they keep everything so incredibly fresh. The patio is dog friendly, but I have yet to see one there. read more

Sweet Allie B's seems to share a location with Limestone Beer Company. When you first pull up, it seems closed, but you park and enter through the rear (West side) of the restaurant. It's a cool little place with lots of different decorations. Music was played at a perfect level. Staff was very nice. Food was really good and came out rather quickly. You must try the cinnamon roll! There's a patio area and you can bring your dogs if you stay in patio. We enjoyed the beers we tried. We will be going back! Not giving a 5 star review because there's no signage on the front of the building, that I could see, that says to go around to the back. The chairs they have have those slanted backs on them that about make you feel like you'll fall over, so not my favorite. read more

First time going in to place a to-go order and ordered off the recommendation of the wait staff. We had the Wild Thyme and Chicken Avocado wrap. Both were solid choices but our favorite was the Wild Thyme. Staff were helpful and quick with getting our order out (5 minute wait). The only downside is they aren't open in the evenings yet, but have their own brewery. I didn't get a chance to try their micro brews but will be back soon. Overall experience was pleasant and the food was worth coming back for more. read more

This is one of my go-to carryout lunch spots during the week. I always order their wild thyme sandwich with the pasta salad and I don't think I'll ever order anything else, it's that good! I did order their broccoli salad recently and found it to be a little too salty for my taste but I have friends who swear by it. This is one of those places where everyone I know seems to have one thing that's their favorite and they never order anything else. Definitely pay attention to the time if you're planning to go as they have short hours but I think it's worth the visit for a good local sandwich place. read more

Be forewarned: the food is a solid 7/10 but the service is downright repulsive. I have ordered from Sweet Allie B's twice and both times were for carry out. The waitress (I believe her name is Jordan B) has been so vile that myself and office mates won't go back. She has argued with me over a single container of ranch (I asked her if there was ranch for a salad and instead of just getting a new one she riffled through the boxes without washing her hands) to refusing to take payment over the phone and stating "well just give someone your card I'm too busy taking to-go orders". This waitress is the worst and treats the customers like they are an inconvenience. The owner, on multiple occasions, has watched this waitress treat people with nastiness and distain while cowering behind her cash register and doing nothing about the awful way her customers are being treated. read more

There's is little to get excited about when it comes to the food at Sweet Allie B's - it's simple cold cuts that probably helps provide a little extra income while they're prepping their catering orders. Your sandwich might have a sauce to jazz things up, but that's about as far as it goes towards creativity. They're put under the sandwich press to make them a little easier to eat, but they're not left there long enough to get substantially toasted, so your sandwich will have the faintest grill marks and a bread texture that's not nearly as toasted as it could have been. As a restaurant it's three stars and it confirms why I was so ambivalent about visiting this place for a year. But then Limestone Beer Company opened. It's a confusing setup - Limestone is technically a separate business, owned and operated by someone not affiliated with Sweet Allie B's (there's a family connection that enabled this to happen), but Sweet Allie B's is the only place you can get the beer. This changes the entire premise of the restaurant - instead of being just a boring sandwich place, it's now a burgeoning brewpub that also serves sandwiches. It's a odd conclusion to arrive at, but while I was sitting there I couldn't help but think of The Artichoke, which I felt more positively about because it was a bar that did just a little bit more by offering a nice sandwich selection. When you get down to brass tacks, what's the difference between the concept of the 'Choke and this place? Tangibly, not much. Sweet Allie B's has the capability to make much more interesting food in their restaurant, they just choose not to. I have no desire to ever eat one of their sandwiches again, but I really like supporting local breweries, so I probably will be. read more

We always try new places we have never been on payday, so today we tried Sweet Allie B's. Let me tell you how amazing or meal was. There was 4 of us so we each tried a different sandwich. The Wild Thyme was so delicious! The Triple Threat, Hot Italian and the Hot Ham and Swiss sub Turkey for ham were all so wonderfully awesome!!! Sunday Brunch with the girls-not the most positive experience due to waitress: forgetting request, not very accommodating on change to a certain menu item (trade this for that) or able to sample gravy. When I asked if soup could be brought out before meal, her response was, "if it's warmed up enough". Food and at atmosphere was okay. I'm new to Wichita, and I am so glad I found this place. Even happier that it's right next to my place. The sandwiches were amazing!!! I'm not generally a fan of pasta salad but the one here was so delicious. The broccoli bacon salad was okay. That was the only thing I thought was okay. We had the triple threat with ham on a pretzel bun. It was savory and the salt on top of the pretzel bun just set it over the top. We also tried the Thyme turkey sandwich and it was such a creamy and tangy yet delicate taste to it. This was probably my absolutely favorite thing I've had here thus far. read more

Traditional but fresh with good flavor. I also tasted the tomato bisque which wasn't anything special but still tasty. My dining partner had the chicken avocado wrap with pasta salad. The wrap was delicious and the pasta salad was "to die for". The ambience is casual and friendly. They carry a large number of the local brewery Limestone craft beers.
