When we went in the middle of the afternoon, the place was very busy as it was hard to find a table in their outside patio, so we settled for a table in the indoor section(A/C SCORE!!). The ground was littered with powdered sugar as customers like myself don't always understand how to eat these beignets without making a big mess. The beignets themselves were pretty inexpensive as they cost only $4.53 for a 3-pack. I also got a large frozen coffee for $7.70. The beignets were delivered to our table very fast and very warm. The movie "Chef" says you only get your first bite of your first beignet from Cafe Du Monde once in your life and to cherish the moment and I do truly understand what they meant with that quote.
