    Mango bingsoo

93 degree and stopped by to get a mango bingsoo. The snow is so soft. A bit too sweet and artificial taste. Not sure what they put in it. Overall pretty good because the snow is really puffy.

We got another banger in China town! This might be the best bingsoo you can find in Utah. Definitely rivals Myunga. Located in the strip mall of the China town parking lot, Sweet & Cool delivers on this Korean dessert. The snow is so light and fluffy. As Asians like to say with our desserts, it's not too sweet. The subtlety is the brilliance. Topped with freshly sliced strawberries and a side car of a milked down condensed milk, it's a perfect dessert and the large is enough to share. They have a to go option that I'm not sure how it would hold up til you get home but it's so good I doubt it matters. They have a variety of other Asian treats like boba, froyo, and whatnot but we went for one thing and one thing only. Casual, counter service. It's not the social media interior decor but forget all that if your menu doesn't match the vibe.

I was really hoping to get the strawberry bingsoo but they didn't have any on the Sunday evening I went. We tried the Oreo bingsoo instead which was good, the texture of the bingsoo was light and fluffy. I personally like a fresh fruit bingsoo so hopefully they have it next time I go!

Man. I can't even find the words to describe just how freakin good the bingsoo here is. Myunga used to be the spot but I fear this is it. The shaved snow is so flavorful, and they really do not skimp around with all the syrup and condensed milk. & You can see just how stacked the strawberries are. They give you this cute little cup with some sort of syrup? I feel like it has to be the mixture for their actual shaved snow, or a mix of condensed milk with something else. But I think it's the best thing ever. As if you need anymore flavor, but you got extra if you want it. I think about this place daily. & If I lived closer, you bet I'd be here every day.

    Taiyaki and soft serve
    Val R.

We stopped here after dinner to have a sweet treat. We ordered the Taiyaki soft serve which took a few minutes for them to dish up as the Taiyaki are made fresh to order. They also have a variety of fillings for the Taiyaki. Staff helping us easily guided us through our options. It was a bit crowded & loud, but it's an ice cream place at 9pm not a library. Our Taiyaki was warm & gooey & the ice cream hit the spot. They have many, many other treats to satisfy any sweet tooth & we will be back for more.

Located in Chinatown, I was excited to check this place out, especially with how fun and vibrant the decorations looked. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. From lackluster service to poorly made drinks, this visit left me disappointed. I usually like to give new places more than one chance, but I'm not sure I'll return here. When I walked in, it wasn't busy--just me and one other customer who had already placed their order and was waiting. Despite this, it took a while for me to even place my order. There were three employees working, but two of them were too busy gossiping and playfully messing around, leaving just one person to handle everything. Even she occasionally joined in the chatter, which slowed things down even more. When it was finally my turn, I asked if I could adjust the sweetness level of my drink. I was told I could customize it however I liked, so I went with 20%. However, the drink I received was nowhere near 20% sweet--it was closer to 120%. It was so overwhelmingly sweet that it completely ruined the experience. Considering how long I waited for the drink while the staff was distracted gossiping, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Overall, I was really let down by this visit. The decor might be fun, but the poor service and disappointing drinks make it hard to recommend.

I love this place! I'm not sure why the low rating honestly.... Every time I've visited (at least 6 times) has been a great experience. The staff has been friendly and fast (only waited five minutes for bingsu), the food (bingsu) was to die for! I would eat it every day!! It's absolutely insanely delicious and I've referred many people to try! Fresh strawberries and sweet cream to pour over the top. I prefer strawberry. The mango is a little too sweet for me! It's not fresh like the strawberry. The strawberry adds a slight tartness which was great paired with the sweet treat. As for the "ambiance" it is so fun and cute! I love the decor and style choices made. The colors really add to the experience and make it a super fun stop! I still would love to try the frozen yogurt! That's my next try. Highly suggest visiting!

Underwhelming. The Taro Frappe with mango popping boba was okay but I've honestly had better Taro milk slush type drinks at other places. The Taiyaki were sort of subpar and they were out of custard anyway so I was stuck with the red bean and I'm not a huge fan. My wife got the Toasted Black Sesame Bingsoo and it was okay. Service was friendly but slow. Enjoyed the clean new vibe but not enough to make me want to come back.

    Colorful Lemonade (Mango)

Newly opened Bingsoo, Milk/Fruit Tea, Taiyaki place in Salt Lake. Decided to stop by as I was in the area for lunch and needed a drink. I wasn't in the mood for boba so found the fruit teas really interesting. Picked up a colorful lemonade with mango, and it hit the spot. It was really refreshing with just enough tang in the lemonade, though I wished they let me pick the sweetness, the syrup was a bit much. My cousin got the root beer float and really enjoyed it, I mean ice cream what's not to like. The decor of the shop was really cheery and the prep area was extremely clean, I also really dig the packaging of the drinks too! I will definitely be back to check out their other options!

The shaved ice here is pretty good, the strawberry was our favorite. I would definitely come here to try more of their stuff. The place is pretty small so seating is limited. There was only one worker and it got semi busy so it took a minute to get our items but she was very kind. Overall I would recommend for their shaved ice!

I usually come to SLC every spring to Ski and we usually hitup the Chinatown Market for food. We saw this new Korean BingSoo shop. The employee recommendI Black Seame and Red Bean flavor and it was very delicious. I am suprised that the BingSoo is better here in SLC then where i am from in Northern Va. (Annandale, Koreatown). and the price. I got large for $9.95 that we shared. I don't understand the low rating, but our BingSoo was the damn good!!

I love the crepes here it was AMAZING. The ONE worker in the whole vicinity knew how to do her job. There was a cute bear on the wall and it was very clean inside. Ambiance:10/10 Food:100/10 Service:10/10

I got a apple and honey crêpe with cheese. The apples are raw with the skin on making it hard to eat the crêpe and the cheese in it doesn't spread evenly. It's in chunks so the flavor isn't throughout. I just wouldn't suggest anything apple on the list as it comes raw and it makes it hard to eat the crêpe and their crêpes are made in store with their own batter. They were helpful though which was nice but since they didn't list on the menu, their apples were raw. I didn't know otherwise I wouldn't of ordered this one.

The food looked gorgeous upon being served but I found the bingsoo to be lackluster. As someone who has had bingsoo multiple times, I found this bingsoo to be poorly shaven - the texture isn't as soft as many other bingsoos - and I found it to be missing the condensed milk throughout. The fruit flavors were great and I did enjoy the fruit as well. The egg waffle was lacking flavor, even for the original flavor. However it was well cooked, crispy-ish on the outside (a nice crust) and a soft and sponge-like inside !

I waited patiently expecting to be blown away assuming they must have been spending the time meticulously preparing this dessert. I was wrong. It wasn't bad, but it was a few pieces of soft, delicious mochi along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce atop a bowl of slushed ice, reminiscent of what I made out of my Snoopy snow cone machine as a kid and not the fresh, fluffy snow-like shaved ice one would expect with this order. Imagine hitting the slopes and skiing on ice-like granules instead of powdery snow. It's just not the same experience.

So we made our way into the supermarket portion of the strip. I really wanted a fruit tea before we headed to our Airbnb. I was initially going to go to 85 degree bakery. I went to one in Houston, TX last year and had a really good frozen coffee. My daughter saw this joint right before it so we decided to try this joint out since I have never had it. This was quite the menu! I haven't seen these tea options before and honestly I was intrigued! Back home, our tea options are pretty basic. Tea with some sort of fruit option. Or regular milk tea with brown sugar boba pearls. I wish I would have known about this joint sooner! I could have done my research and tried something I have never had. I'm here for a few more weeks and I'm definitely trying a drink off their milk series. I did order the peach green tea with peach pieces and tea jelly. The gal that was helping me today was mehhhh. She was there. She took my order and that was pretty much it. Not real interaction of any sort. Not a "hey, how are you today?" She asked the basic drink questions that were needed to make my drink and got to making it. My tea was fantastic! You can taste the earthiness of the green tea. It was sweet from the peach. The tea jelly pieces were soft. I enjoyed the chunky pieces of peach in every sip. It was just what I needed after my meal. I'm always down to try boba tea joints. It was great running into this place while we were roaming around. Pho Salt Lake is in this same venue as this joint.
