Horrible service. It's clear that they make their money off of birthday parties and that's all they care about. My daughter got a sassy cut, which comes with a blow out or a braid. However, the girl who did the cut did not dry her hair at all before braiding it. Not even a little. Her hair was so wet that the back of her shirt was soaked. I had to ask for them to dry it a little. When I was leaving, I asked for the lollipops that come with the cuts. (My son got a cut too.) The girl at the front said, "actually we're out of lollipops." She offered nothing instead, even though there's plenty there they could have done (e.g. some scrub or something). From past experience, the lollipop is usually pretty fancy and a key part of the experience. They were not welcoming at all and didn't really care about our experience. Will not be coming here for haircuts again, especially for these prices. read more

We have been there twice. The first time my daughter loved it. The employee assigned to us was kind and patient. She did a great job.Second time visiting we were rush and tbh it was a waste of money. Her nails and toes were done sloppy. I would've been better off taking her to a regular nail shop for the price I paid. Not sure if we will be returning. read more

I booked a spa-tacular party for my daughter. I can't give a zero rating because my daughter and her friends, overall, had a really fun time. They had the blessing of not realizing how far behind and disorganized the whole thing was. Our party was booked for 3 o'clock. We arrived by 2:40, just to be sure we weren't late and were ready for our guests. We checked in then and were told we would be greeted a bit before 3 for the party. After several attempts to get the party started and having our guests just standing by the door, we finally were allowed to bring our guests in, around 3:25. It took another 20 minutes before each child was even dealt with, as far as getting the first activity going. There is supposed to be plastic wrap on the spa subs for sanitary reasons. Three of them did not have them--they told me they ran out. One of the tubs couldn't fill with water for the spa treatment because they were missing the stopper for it so my daughter didn't get the full experience there. The party should have been from 3-4:45. It ended up going from 3-5:30, but with dead time for about the first 30 minutes. And with 3 of the kids, including my kid, not getting the full experience. My consolation prize for such bad service? An extra creation station actIvity for just my birthday girl but no one else. I understand now why they add 18% gratuity on top ahead of time--because no one would give extra money after that experience. I had booked a haircut for both my daughters. I had booked a Sassy cut for my elder one which included a Shampoo, Cut and a blowout . Kathryn was supposed to do the service and when she finished, my daughter's hair did not look any different. Moreover, she did not do the blow out at all. When asked she said that she thought I WANTED IT TO LOOK NATURAL!!!!. So I told her that I wanted the Blow out . She replied that since she had completed the service I have to pay extra for the service. Sweet and Sassy has a higher price rate but the service does not match up to the price. They thrive on birthday parties!!!!! Please do not go here for a haircut. I felt CHEATED!!!!! read more

My daughter is taking swim classes and has very long hair. The chlorine matted her hair and it took 3 of them 1 full hour with a whole bottle of oil to comb it. They were amazing!!! read more

My daughter and I got our ears pierced here, and it was wonderful! They were so nice and attentive. We didn't schedule an appointment, and one of the ladies was about to clock out, but she stayed so they could do both of my daughter's ears at the same time. Then after my daughter lost an earring back a couple of days later (not their fault), I called and they said I could come back in for an earring back specific to the earrings we bought. Then they called to check in after I didn't go back in as quickly as I intended. Great experience, and my daughter is begging to go back! read more

I love spoiling my kids! Today we had mommy daughter day and i promised her ill take her to a nail salon. We went to sweet and sassy at willow bend mall and to be honest I would leave as soon as we got there but I didn't want to disappoint my daughter. There was lady infront of us at the register so we waited, the manager started to "get" us when we still far behind, telling us what she cannot do for us.. Since we had no appointment, they could do only nails which this is why we came from first place anyway. Even dough we were paying customers I got the feeling that she is doing a favor to us. Last year we been here and had such a better experience. That was the manager that took the time to help us, I would expect a better service. At the end she put some glitter on her face. My daughter is happy but I know it could have been better. read more

This place used to be awesome! Kate was amazing. But when we came for my sons appointment with her I was informed she no longer works here & some girl named Malika butchered my sons hair!!!! He has beautiful curls. I mean he HAD beautiful curls until she chopped them all off!!! Of course his picture day is next week. WE WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!! So disappointing. read more

I really wanted to give this place a good rating but I just can't find enough positives. Pros: Well decorated, very nice limo. Cons: Small inside, very disorganized, lack of customer service, not a large enough range of sizes in flip flops... Allow me to explain the experience. When we arrived the got us checked in fairly easily. When I returned with the pizza they couldn't direct me to the right party. Instead of checking they kept guessing until a young lady came over and took care of it. The bathroom inside the place was broken so the girls had to use the bathroom in the mall. When checking out the gratuity had already been included for both the shop and the limo driver but they were going to let my wife pay cash for the gratuity until she noticed the charges. They gave us some other kids shoes (which we returned) and then they called us and asked if they had mistakenly given us someone else's birthday present (they hadn't). Lastly, the music video DVD that my girls made didn't play in our DVD player when we got it home. I took it back (yes I had to go back instead of them just sending me a good copy) and we waited for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out why it wouldn't play. Ultimately I told them to keep it until they fixed it and to mail it to me. (I am nor holding my breath) I think that the concept is good bit they need some work on their execution. read more

Sweet and Sassy are a little too Sassy for my taste. We were driving from Dallas in a thunderstorm so I called to let them know we would be a couple minutes late. We were in the mall at 10:07 and walked in at 10:12 because the lady that worked there gave us poor directions on how to get there in the mall. They did not squeeze us in so it ended up being a complete waste of an hour. Now that I see many poor reviews, happy that we ended up not getting in.... Absolutely love the staff here! Recently took my 15 month old for an ear piercing & the ladies were so sweet with her & very quick the the piercing! We attended a birthday party today. The girls who worked there seemed to get into the singing and dancing which was nice. The braid my daughter received for the party was pretty weak. It was loose and fell out before we left the mall. The gal in charge of the party room set aside three of the seven pizzas for the staff before the girls and parents were done eating which I thought was rude and unprofessional. The wand my daughter was given dropped and broke and when I was picking up the pieces, I noticed all the hair, dirt and glitter on the floor. Really disgusting. We won't be back unless they raise their standards. read more

I'll start with this place is adorable immediately catches your eye. They book up very fast so make sure you make an appointment way ahead of time ( we booked for 2 kids mani and pedis to be done together) upon arrival they were a little backed up, which is understandable with several employees sitting around including the manager. The girls barely received their services together because they only had one technician available to do both. Meaning that our second kid didn't get to even sit in the water for more than 2 minutes. When we brought this to the managers attention she said oh well, they'll both be getting done with no concern for the lack of customer service she was providing. Our technician was Julia and she was fantastic! The girls loved interacting with her and the adorable styles she did. However I'd say don't waste your time unless you are booking a party or coming for a party because when there is one going they don't pay any attention to other guests. What you get for the cost is very underwhelming and you would be better off paying for a kids mani pedi and a regular salon. When we arrived there was a birthday party going on that had 3 people working it they were ending stage with dancing and parents taking pictures we asked if one would be available since we booked for 2 at the same time and they told us that none of them were certified to do nails. As we were checking out of one those same people took a new customer and started working on her nails. The service today was unacceptable. And after have talking to the manager and expressing our concerns about the entire service they then added an auto gratuity to our party of two saying that that is standard for any services for 2 or more people. We tipped in cash and tipped over their auto gratuity amount so they did reverse this. read more

All the girls were so nice! They have a first haircut special that includes a photo and they'll save your little ones hair on a nice little card for you to keep. While my youngest got her haircut, my 4 yr old got a mani / pedi and loved it. They people were super nice and treated the kids like little adults. We'll probably end up here sometime in the future for a birthday party or another 'spa' day for the girls. They know how to treat the kids! read more

I like the sweet and sassy concept but not this staff. I have tried this salon a few times and with both of my kids. The "stylists" have no idea how to interact with young children. I was asked repeatedly "what's wrong with her???" for my child who was sitting perfectly still for the haircut. The haircuts have always been uneven too. read more

Very disappointed in customer service. My daughter got her ears pierced with them less than two months ago and the ear rings they put in have already broke. We reached out t them to let them know they broke and to see if there was some kind of replacement, surely they wouldn't sell something so cheap that it won't last at least much longer than this. They refused and said they were only expected to last until the healing process is complete (which the ears are not totally healed yet - so that is not the case either). I guess, I just expected more. My daughter and her friends have enjoyed going to this place. Very disappointing. read more

I love this place!! Each visit has been even sweeter than the last! The first time I brought my daughter in on her birthday a few years back just to get an up-do, makeup and nails done for her birthday party that was held elsewhere. She LOVED it. There was a birthday party going on while we were there and she was so enthralled by all the party fun. I could tell she wanted to have a party there so I knew we would eventually. A few months later, I won a facebook contest to bring my daughter in for the same package she had done a few months prior. She was so excited! The lady was so nice, but I think went a little overboard with the make up..but it was okay. It was free, lol! And my daughter loved it anyway. Now for the best time ever..my daughters birthday party 2 weeks ago! I was a little leery about having it here because the price is quite high, considering it's only for 8 girls. But I decided to do it anyway because I knew my daughter has been wanting a party here forever. They require a $65 deposit and the rest is due the day of the party. I was so pleased with how well it was organized and how much they actually do. They have like 6 or 7 girls working on the party for you so it's a great experience. All the girls get their hair done, makeup and nails at the same time and then do a show with dancing and playing games..all led by the party hosts. It's so much fun! I would definitely consider having her party here again and again! read more

I took my fiance's daughter here the day after Thanksgiving for a manicure, pedicure, and "makeup", on the advice of a coworker. It's inside the Shops at Willow Bend. Firstly, the store is super cute... hot pink walls, and they have a fashion run way and disco balls, etc. They have different packages you can choose from, and you can also add on services. It is a little more pricey than a regular salon - I can get her toes and fingers painted for 10$ at my local nail shop, and 15$ if she wants extra nail art... it's 30 here, but they gave her a little toe ring, and painted zebra stripes on her toes and cherries on her thumbs. I also let them put "makeup" on her face, for an extra 6.95. The "makeup" is basically a glitter stamp of stars and hearts on their cheeks, and then a light shimmery sweep of color on their eyes. She looked very cute, and it wasn't over done. They also sprayed glitter in her hair. Overall, my little girl LOVED the experience, but I felt that her "stylist" was a little standoffish. She didn't speak to her much, unless she was telling her how to hold her hands, etc. My little girl didn't seem to notice, but I think for that price, they can be a little friendlier, and engage the girls in conversation some. I'll definitely be taking her back, she was very thrilled with the experience of her "makeover" as she calls it :) read more

Very happy with our experience. Taylor did my 3 yr old girl's hair and my 14 mo old boy too. I love the value added service. They gave my little girl a blow dry, sparkle spray and face art at no additional charge. Taylor was very good with her and was great at the cut as well (I think I pretty picky too). My son wiggled, but she was patient. I know he won't be able to go here for too long (so girly), but I think we've found my daughter's salon. Special's are great, but call for them, not listed on the website, priced in keeping with other kids salons in the area. This is the worst place to get your child's haircut. I took both my kids to this place thinking it would be nice since its in a high end mall. I was completely wrong! Both the hairstylist seemed inexperienced and they messed up a simple bang trimming for my daughter! One of my Grand daughters is not fond of parties so for her 3rd birthday we took her and her sister ( 5yrs old) and cousin (2 yrs old). To Sweet and Sassy for a pretty princess party she is a very girly girl. It was so special for them they all had mani pedis and the birthday girl also got an up do. We had an appointment and when we arrived there were 3 awesome ladies there to meet us. They were fantastic they made the day so special, the interaction with the little ones was awesome. We got out of there in about an hour with sparkly pretty and happy girls. I would totally recommend this to anyone. read more

This is the rudest store I've been to EVER! Was there Saturday and witnessed how they treat their front desk associates. Throwing stuff at them and yelling at them in front of everybody and then the stylist asking for tips from the customers. Honestly, the lady was right not to tip. I didn't tip and won't ever be back. Maybe to come and get some of the hard working people and put them in a better working environment than the one they're in. Don't call me trying to apologise cause your words and actions tell that this store is 100% about THEIR MONEY and not others money and time. Parties are a mess, bunch of kids working with kids, salon manager is awfully unprofessional and doesn't understand any language but her own. For a customer about to pay for her services she did and planning on tipping her to see her disrespect someone she works wit AND THE OTHER CUSTOMERS she needs to be fired! But I think she knows that will never happen. I hope she's not a mother acting like that cause I feel sorry for her kids. I believe one of the ladies behind me recorded the behavior from the lady that didn't even belong in the front. Throwing sharp objects at other employees! Ive never witnesses anything like it. This review is too high. My Granddaughter was so humiliated at this salon today. The manager and 3 other attendants hovered around her like going through her hair. this is not her fault. This situation could have been approached with the child in mind. The staff announced to the whole store my granddaughter had head lice. For a salon that specializes in children. This salon and staff should be ashamed. The mother could have been pulled aside instead of announce it to the whole store. There is no sensitivity to a child a little girl 8 years old told she and her family must leave the shop immediately. Oh yes but we could stay long enough to pay for nails that were done. We will never return and buyer be ware. Only go if your have no regard for you child's feelings or self esteem. This staff needs better training in customer service and how to handle children. This place does Not have good customer service. They gave my daughter a crooked haircut. I went back a week later to have it fixed. They did the "fixer" haircut for free, of course. However, I asked for a discount on my Next haircut (for my time having to come back that second time), and they said, "no, we don't give discounts". Rude and unprofessional is right! read more

last year my took my kids here for a haircut. my kids had the best experience with taylor. she's great with kids and is very experienced. I recommended her to a friend. my friend made an appointment. halfway through her kid's haircut, she realized it wasn't taylor that was cutting her hair. apparently, taylor no longer worked there , but sweet and sassy did not call to cancel the appointment or ask if it was ok to switch to another stylist. I am so glad that I had grabbed one of her cards. I was able to find her at taylorina's custom cuts in plano. read more

My wife brought our eight-year-old to this place before and it was okay. But we had a really bad experience when we held our daughter's birthday party there a month ago. Even if it was a small party with only eight girls, they didn't have enough room for every guest. One of girls ended up with doing her hair facing a wall without a mirror in front of her! Some of the hair stylists were either too rush or not experienced. Their hairstyling works lasted only a few minutes for two girls and they had to redo them all over again. The party was badly organized. They messed up the pre-determined schedule. As a result, girls had to put on and take off the princess dresses several times and had little time play on the mini stage. None of the girls got a chance to "make their own lotion", which is included in the package. We paid about $500 for the party and were told "everything is covered except food and drink" when we signed the contract. Yet they asked for 20% tip after the party... We will never go to this place again. read more
