Delicious! Right on the corner of East Ave and Van Zandt is Sweet Ashley's. At least 30 flavors. I was told by a friend to get the Cinnamon Bun but got Espresso Bean instead. It was fresh, the bean chips were crunchy and the whole place had a great summer neighborhood vibe. read more

This ice cream shop is a really nice (and delicious) one in the Norwalk area! The people who work there are so nice and it is a welcoming environment for people of all ages, a little old school type charm like in the old days. The only downside is finding where to park but otherwise it is so worth the trip! read more

Yummy, homemade ice cream! They have all of the traditional flavors, plus a few interesting ones. They also have brownies (didn't try). Apparently named after the owner's daughter. It is a great local business with good quality desserts and prices. I really like their toasted coconut and peanut butter with chocolate ice cream. Also, have tried their black cherry vanilla and that was great! It is located very close and walking distance to the East Norwalk train station and Veteran's park. All of the ice cream parlors that I've been to here in the North East had me thinking people are being stingy. Not here! Huge scoops of delicious, creamy goodness. We got the banana split. Perfect! I am a bit of an ice cream snob. My firm belief is that ice cream should be creamy. If it has a hint of crunchy crystallization, it's just not worth the calories. Thank you, Sweet Ashley for delivering. This stuff had such an excellent texture, every bite was a delight. This is not for sharing - get your own! I had a small cup with two flavors. The tiramisu was pretty true to taste. That is to say the flavors were bold enough to make it distinctively tiramisuey. The cake batter was also delicious. I didn't have any toppings, but next time I'd like to give the hot fudge a try. I'm definitely coming back, and very soon! read more
