    Completas !! La mejor comida

Ok. Desde afuera el lugar no dice mucho . Es un bakery cubano en la esquina. Pero cuando entras y pides la comida: . WOW expectacular!

Not at ALL what I was expecting when I got here. I had little service and Yelp wasn't opening so I looked on google maps and this place has 4 stars out of 5 on their page. I trusted that and wished I hadn't. The location itself was not much from outside. When we got in we were greeted with what others have mentioned, which is empty displays and little bakery options. We didn't go for that though, instead for a snack and coffee. The inside seems unkept and the tables all had crumbs on them and their seats. We wiped them off one and sat down after ordering a cafe con leche, media noche, ham croquettas, and papa rellena. The media noche as you can hopefully see in the photo I posted was made with stale hard bread and had no taste at all. The papa rellena was not good either. It didn't have the same texture as any other papa rellena I've ever had. The potato was chewy in a way. The croquettas were burned outside and tasteless inside. While sitting down we noticed the cook going in and out to smoke. One guy who came in wanted an empanada and was told by the lady at the counter that the cook stepped out and he would have to wait. I don't know how he actually ended up staying and being so nice about it. Really disappointed in this place.

BEST tostada around. I don't live here but I visit a few times a year. This is one of my musts when I'm in town. Very cordial service.

We got a sampler platter that included some croquetas, plantain chips, tamal, fried pork chunks, and fried shrimp. Zero complaints about anything! So so good. My main was the Sopa de Res, which was a hearty soup. The serving size was gigantic. I actually took most of it back with me and it made two more meals. There were lots of root vegetables, slow cooked beef still on the bone, a side of rice and corn. My dad got a huge Cuban sandwich that he also ate on for days and my mom had empanadas, which I finished off for a third meal. We also went back for pie. That was ok - it was extremely rich and kind of pricy at $13 a slice. I also tried their Cortadito and took it to go. Great coffee as well. Highly, highly recommend eating here. The decor is fun and the wait staff super nice and patient with all our questions. They also have a separate ice cream shop across the parking lot.

My husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with French fries cooked to perfection in clean oil, and I had grilled chicken (pechuga à la Blanche) with beans, rice, and sweet plantain, along with cilantro sauce. The portion sizes are very generous and we each had leftovers for another whole meal. We will definitely be back! I also appreciated that the suggested tip amount started at 15%. We left more, but too many restaurants have the suggested tip amounts much too high. Do look at the menu item pricing, as some dishes were $75+. It may have been due to portion size as well as ingredients.

Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. The food was delicious, the sizes were generous and the prices were great. It was around 9:30-10pm when we arrived and the place was still busy. It was fancier than I expected with a bit of a sports bar twist. The menus were on iPads. Our server was friendly and helped a couple people with their orders. I hadn't had black beans and rice in a while so I ordered it as my side along with the plantains and couldn't have made a better choice. I had a Cuban sandwich and my husband had a Cuban style burger. We ate everything on our plate. Yum! It was late night done right. The reviews had me uncertain but I would definitely eat here again.

These are the best frituras of bacalao I have ever tried and the sauce compliments it so well! We paired this appetizer with the mojito flight and they were absolutely delicious. You get 4 options, passion fruit, lychee, guava & coconut. Afterwards we ordered the vaca frita with moros & tostones. You can order them extra crispy which I recommend. My fiancé ordered the Chicken cordon Bleu which is apparently a staple here and it did not disappoint at all! Overall we had a great experience and the food was fantastic, you can't go wrong with Cuban food in south florida. The remodel of the restaurant was fantastic and you can't tell they put in a lot of effort making this establishment look really nice with a great ambiance. The items we ordered were a little bit more pricey than usual but we assumed that when we got iPads for menus! Gotta pay off the remodel somehow! This place was 10/10 with excellent service & will return to try other items!
