Went here to meet up with old friends for late breakfast during the week. The place was mostly empty and waitress was busy but we got excellent service. I got a fish sandwich that was pretty good. I was told that the chicken sandwich was amazing. Menu looks great and I would def come back here aagain.

Satisfied my fried chicken craving. Heard positive reviews for this spot so was on my list to try. Food and service was good. Plenty of seating if you're dining in and food was served quick. sweet chick bucket 4.5/5 - got it with soy honey garlic and it was tasty. Don't really recommend the mashed potatoes because the texture was a little off for me. nashville hot chicken sandwich 4/5 - good sandwich and perfect amount of spice.

Been here plenty of time because who can say no to chicken and waffles!! I managed to catch the brunch special which was $10 and had some grits which was also tasty. Servers were nice and space is big so bring your posse. Prices in general are decent for the food you are eating so dont wait and go get your chicken and waffles!!

I went here a 2nd time at a normal time and totally lived up to my memory. Amazing sandwiches. Get the wings tossed in sauce! Service is still very friendly. They don't rush you to get out the door which is appreciated. Although ambiance is fast food it's definitely a little more upscale.

I was so surprised when I walked in and the restaurant was entirely empty! I ordered to-go classic chicken and waffles and it came with the syrup, a mixed berry butter, and some hot sauce which really tied it altogether. The food was delicious -- chicken tenders were cooked perfectly and the waffle was soft with powdered sugar. Delicious!!

I went for the LIC Spring Mix and really enjoyed their chicken and Waffle and Mac n Cheese. It was a vibe great for gatherings and just a quick solo bite too. Loved their friendly service. I'd definitely be back to try more! Check out our video and follow on Instagram @JadaExploresAll!

I've passed by Sweet Chick enough that I knew I wanted to try it, and finally, on a random Monday night, I did! I admit, I took a sneak peek of the the reviews, and some of what was described proved to be true with my experience. Throughout the evening there were literally 2 staff members to be found, both of them literally doing everything. There were more take out orders than sit down, so they were mainly dealing with delivery drivers and people ordering pick-up. I'd say the food came out in a pretty normal amount of time. If I were dining in a bigger group, and if we had places to be I can see how this isn't the best spot for you. This did not bother me, since I was dining with a friend and we were in no rush, so take that as you will. I ordered the Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was pretty good. Can't complain that my chicken was (much) longer than the bun it sat in between, but it was an awkward sandwich because of it (see picture). My friend and I ordered sides of brussel sprouts and mac and cheese: each of the sides were $8, which I felt were a little hefty for the small-ish portions. The brussel sprouts had a nice sauce, but I've had much better mac and cheese... for cheaper too. Best way to describe it was that it tasted more like eating a pasta with a creamy sauce rather than mac and cheese. My meal for a chicken sandwich + side was $30. Note that I did get the more pricey side (fries can be $5, rather than $8 for the more premium sides).

I was disappointed in my experience here. The place is very cute and has a fun vibe with a full bar and nice decor. I was able to find parking right in front. Our server was friendly and took our orders quickly. I ordered a mimosa, honey garlic chicken tenders and waffles. The waffles were fluffy and tasty; what I did not enjoy was the chicken tenders. I thought the chicken lacked flavor and the sauce tasted like it was something out of a box. I tried a bite of my boyfriend's bone in chicken and it did taste better. Not sure if I will be returning.

Honestly, I've been here in the past and have been very happy with the experience, but this most recent time was pretty disappointing. The food was still good. The problem was everything else... There was only one person waiting tables, it took forever to get our order taken, all the food portions were reduced, there were fewer sauce flavor options, and the chicken tenders were even a bit smaller than they were at past visits. If you're looking for some fun flavors of chicken and waffles, it's a decent spot still. They just aren't quite up to the standard of what I have come to expect from them. Edit: Oh! And they switched up their tipping at the end of your meal to options starting at 20%, and going all the way up to 30%. Something that rubs me the wrong way is when a restaurant clearly cuts a bunch of corners, and then pressures you for even more gratuity.

Food was good. Service was slow. We used the reservation system and booked for 1130 and then found out the establishment didn't open till noon. The staff were ready for us even while we waited for them to open up. The special sauce for the hashbrowns was honey mustard. I thought it was going to be an exciting different flavor until I realized it was just honey mustard. Music was great!

Came for an early brunch, which was a laid back affair. We were able to be seated right away even though we didn't have a res. My friend and I split the carrot cake pancake special (delicious) and balanced it with a savor breakfast sandwich. Overall the service was ok but the I would return for the pancakes when they have them again.

We ordered via Uber Eats for pickup. Our food was ready for pickup according to the time. We got a grilled OG chicken sandwich, fried OG chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and fries. The fries were cold and the mac & cheese was lacking flavor. Portions are on the smaller side. My boyfriend said the fried chicken wasn't bad but wasn't exactly great either. My grilled chicken was very small, overcooked, and really dry. There were some burnt pieces of the chicken on the sandwich as well. I don't think it was worth it for $12. I had to pull out my mayo bottle from the fridge to add to my chicken because it was so dry. I think I may have just gotten the wrong item since I believe they are known for the fried chicken but I was disappointed by the small burnt grilled chicken sandwich. Yumpling (down the street) also has a fried chicken sandwich and it is a much larger piece at a similar price point. Overall I just think there is a mismatch between portion and price. I am not sure if it would be different if we had dined in.

My friends and I stopped in early on Sunday for brunch. The place was full, but no one else was waiting, thankfully! We were seated in about 20 mins. First of all, their wrench door handle is so cute! We took our seats and grabbed the menus that were readily available on the side. To eat, we ordered a mix of chicken and waffles and egg biscuit sandwiches. We also ordered a side of wings and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were delicious! They come in a waffle style and are nice and crispy and well-seasoned. I ordered the honey lemon pepper fried chicken and apple cinnamon waffles. The chicken was juicy and flavorful! The waffles were just a touch sweet, and a perfect complement to the chicken. My friends enjoyed their egg sandwiches and wings. I thought about removing 2 stars, but generously only took away 1, because there was literally ONE GUY working in the whole restaurant which caused the service to be super slow. He was the bartender, host, to-go order guy, and server. Kudos to him for managing it all, but why would they schedule one person to work on a Sunday?? 3.5 rounded to a 4. Great food, but it shouldn't have been a 3 hour dining process.

it is a small space but the area between the tables is adequate enough to navigate a stroller and I would assume there is room to set it aside as your group ate their meal.

Everything was on point, but the wings, the Mac and cheese and that burger are must-orders every time. The drinks were just as good. The place is LOUD albeit with good taste of retro, 90's music and not the modern trash that floods the radio waves so I can rock with that. Place is sized pretty well with an outside seating area and plenty of tables inside the albeit dimly lit bar/restaurant. Coming into the place I was greeted by a blonde woman who seemed to be a supervisor of the area. She directed me to a comfortable seating area and a server took my order afterwards. The place was relatively busy so the wait for my food was kind of in the long range, about maybe 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken & Waffles with Iced Tea and the food was definitely worth the wait. That chicken was so good, a bit on the crisp side but it's solid in taste. The Waffle had such an awesome texture with the right measure of powdered sugar, decorated with Blueberries and Strawberries, the entrée was plated very well. The Iced Tea, I didn't know it was unsweetened so that threw me off but some sugar kinda fixed that. Service was also 'A' Tier. The place was busy so it was a tad on the slow side but they were very attentive. About 3 different servers tended to me whether it was about my order, how I liked it and paying for the bill when I was finished. That's dedication and I always give props to that. I enjoyed my visit here.

They have a giant menu posted on the wall to peruse. When we approached the counter to order, the person manning the register basically ignored us. When she finally acknowledged us to place our order, the interaction was taciturn and curt - no niceties. I ordered the single order pan-fried pancake ($8, but closer to $11 after tax). The menu states a choice between beef, pork, and chicken, but we were only given the choice between beef and chicken. The cashier also gave us a choice between spicy potato or pork floss (I opted for the pork floss), which was not denoted in the menu description. The menu does say it comes with veg, but what they really mean is lettuce/salad. The menu picture online is also misleading because it says it comes with an egg, and displays both a soft-boiled egg and beautiful runny egg cascading over the pancake. Instead, the only egg that was served was one overcooked fried egg (not runny at all!), and it was cold (but more on that later). The quoted wait time for the food was 20 minutes. There's a little station near the counter to grab napkins, silverware, and water. Around 9:30am on a Friday, several tables were filled, but no one had any food (the cafe opened at 9am, so I suppose the kitchen was still ramping up). My friends and I ordered variations of the same dish (the pan-fried pancake), but the dishes were served in reverse order - the person who ordered last got their dish first and vice versa. When one order is more complex than another, it's understandable when the easier/quicker one is served first. Since we all ordered nearly the same dish, this was not the case. The way things were being expedited was not efficient. When they finally called my name, I was excited to dig in, but the dish was cold! The beef was cold, the pancake was cold, the egg was cold and overcooked... I had half a mind to send it back. I'm guessing my order was ready earlier, but it must've sat there because someone forgot about it. Now technically, there are cold elements in the dish, if you count the lettuce and dressing, but there's no reason why the pancake, egg, and beef were all cold... they weren't warm, they didn't retain any heat, they were cold. They were also skimpy on the beef. The only redeeming qualities of the dish were that, fortunately, the pancake was still crispy, albeit cold and greasy, and the pork floss is a delicacy that gave the pancake a little extra oomph of flavor and texture. My friend ordered the Wake Up Combo ($14), which is the pan-fried pancake served with a soy milk and tea egg. Similar to my own egg experience, the tea egg was disappointingly overcooked (think hard-boiled) and not jammy like the picture at all. We all have bad days, so maybe Morning Brunch & Cafe was having one... but this is a skip for me.

The prices were bad here but the service and the food weren't great. When we arrived, we were scoping out the menu, they had it posted in a lot of places but it was kind of confusing. I did like how you could scan a QR code and when you clicked on an item, it was more descriptive of the add-on options or potential meat options. There are approximately 10-13 seats, so not great for a massive party, but good for a small outing or for take out. I saw a decent amount of delivery people come in to do pick ups. My friends and I were ordering and were curtly treated by one of the employees. I ordered the fried vegetable pancake with them since you couldn't order the QR code on the tables. She told me the options of only beef and chicken. I thought pork would've been an option and then she mumbled about the options for the additional topping. I couldn't understand her when she said pork floss, so I ordered spicy potatoes. The food also came out kind of sad and was slow to come out. The order was all wrong as I ordered last and then was delivered my dish first. It was kind of sad because I didn't even realize you should be able to pick up the pancake. It was hard to eat because it kept crumbling apart due to the pan fried falky pancake was a thin layer what just felt like crust. I was imagining more like a scallion pancake with vegetables infused or stuffed in. It also came out cold, and could have used a bit more flavor like a sauce or soy sauce. The spicy potatoe tasted a little undercooked as well. My friend ordered hers with pork floss instead and that tasted a little better. The dish also came with a supposed to be overeasy egg that is supposed to be runny, but was a bit overcooked.
