This place had me at lucky charms ice cream! We also tried the oatmeal cookie, mint chip, and cookies and cream. The cookies and cram looks like it has a chocolate base, but it tastes more like the chocolate part of the cookie mixed with the ice cream. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I did not get a chance to sample any ice cream as I was completely ignored for 17 minutes! I walked into Sweet Cow today (6/6/2021) about 12:30pm and waited behind a couple as the employees were very happy to talk with them for about 10minutes. As I waited right behind them. The other unoccupied employee did not acknowledgment me for one moment. Looked right through me as if I was invisible. She proceeded to answer her cell phone and talk for a few moments and then started to walk around and help with the previous order. I did not get a hello or one moment please.....nothing! As other customers went to the front of the order line, I knew what I wanted (the vegan peanut butter scoop) I waited by the cash accepter machine with my money in hand (very obviously) and still NO acknowledgment. So, I waited another 5 minutes as the employees took the other customers orders right in front of me and continued to ignore me. I was so offended I walked out! I was very excited to have a company that offered non dairy options so I rode my bike 20 minutes to get a scoop on this hot July afternoon. That there is a decent ice cream cone. The flavors are robust, intense chocolate and peanut butter, luscious coffee flavor from local roaster Ozo, creamy vanilla. Portions are OK, not huge, but each extra scoop is only a buck so if you're feeling it you can go for three or four and blend some fun flavors. Woulda liked to have seen some more variety - how about some coconut or banana? But maybe they weren't on the rotation. HOLY COW I love this place. Eh em, I mean, SWEET COW I love this place. You know that hour after dinner when it is not quite time to go home ye,t and you start getting that sweet tooth that you have to satisfy with a tasty little treat?! Well this is your place! It is also everyone else's place too! Be prepared to wait in a long line. Don't worry though, it goes fast. The team here rocks at moving people through at a speedy pace. It is all hands on deck and they work in sort of an assembly line, helping several customers at once, and then moving them down the counter to pay. Excellent customer service. Everyone that works here seems to be having fun! The flavors of icecream are endless. The thing that stood out to me was all of the falvored cones. They have sugar cones, cake cones, waffle cones and even pretzel cones! If you prefer a coneless scoop, you can be boring and get it in a plastic cup. You can also mix it up and get a shake that will get you shakin with excitement when you see the whip cream tower on top! I swear it was almost touching the ceiling. You can also get a scoop between two cookies with many ice cream sandwich options. In the back they have a garage door that opens so you can sit outside, or there is plenty of room at the counter. They have little souvenirs you can buy and a tiny play area with bouncy cows. It is pretty tasty and pretty cute. Fantastic!! - We've been looking for a good ice cream in town for years and this place (which is locally owed) delivers!!! We sampled quite a few flavors and all of them were absolutely delicious they apparently have up to 150 that they rotate through seasonally and I can't wait to try them all. I've visited Sweet Cow on a couple of occasions, however this is the first time I decide to order something (sometimes the flavors just aren't for me). The feel/vibe of the Boulder Sweet Cow is great! For you New Englanders it reminded me a bit of J.P. Licks with the cow theme and modern feel. We enjoyed taking in a couple of samples before making my choice. I previously scooped at a Ben & Jerry's so I only tried one or two flavors so as not to be nuisance. On this occasion I split a 3 scoop wonder with my partner (it was less expensive this way @ $4.50 instead of $5.90). We went with E.T (peanut butter base with Reese's Pieces), Coconut Cream, as well as Earl Grey Cookie something or other). The E.T. was by far our favorite, and the Coconut Cream was the runner up. Overall our experience was good, the parking lot and the staff was friendly. The ice-cream wasn't terribly memorable particularly for the price (the 3 flavors, though different, seemed to meld together in our little bowl). Perhaps if I find myself in here again I'll try a few more samples before placing my order. read more

I got the Cookies N' Cream (made with chocolate ice cream, I might add) and the Oatmeal Cookie - both divine!! That Oatmeal Cookie flavor has my heart. My guy LOVES all things peanut butter so he got the Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Butterfinger and he was happy as a clam. Both just so good. Anywhoo, I ordered the Honey vanilla on a pretzel cone and boyfriend got the cookies and cream on a waffle cone. Okay, I love honey vanilla ice cream, there's something about the taste of honey and cream which creates the perfect merriment. And I believe this place got it on point. However, what I didn't like was the pretzel cone. I think the cone is not the best choice. My boyfriend liked his waffle cone, so I think it's just the pretzel cone, something about it.
