Stopped at this cute little bistro for some pastries and a coffee while staying in Moab. They had a great assortment of baked goods - muffins, breads, scones, some chocolate twisty thing that was amazing... we loved everything we tried! Looks like they also do a lunch menu, especially carry-out that would be perfect to take with you on a hike into Arches. Plenty of seating if you'd prefer to dine in, and even a few small kiosks with locally made art/jewelry. The service was incredibly friendly and prompt, and the coffee was tasty! read more

Can't say enough about how friendly & accommodating they were as I placed a phone order for 16 people. I picked a very busy day in Moab to order food, 2 places had already said they could not even accommodate my order in under an hour. Although Sweet Cravings was also very busy, they answered the phone with an extremely friendly hello, and said they would get on it right away & have them done for us in 20 minutes. Was traveling through Moab and saw the sign and plenty of parking so gave them a try. Friendly staff and I liked the vibe of the dining area. I had the cinnamon role and some unsweetened ice tea. Role was okay, not too sweet but also not much cinnamon. Probably would not order it again but would definitely try some other items. No Apple Pay :-( read more

I picked this place somewhat randomly since it was on the right side of the busy highway through Moab on an insane weekend. My salad was huge, fresh and flavorful. It came with a giant scone and a free desert "sample". Yup - you heard that - TWO deserts! Staff was very friendly and frequently checked on me, which is unusual when you're at a place with counter service. When it was time to go, they brought me a fresh Iced Tea in a to go cup without me even asking! And this is when the place was really hoppin' busy. The goodies in the cases looked insanely tempting, and given the tasty goodness that was my scone and salad, I'm sure the rest are rich and full of interesting flavor. Loved the ambience and the sweet lady that helped us! I didn't catch her name but she is the owner's mother. We came in about 15 min before closing but they didn't rush us at all and made us feel very welcome. We had the whoopie pie and fudge brownie. They both were phenomenal! The brownie was perfectly baked with a thicker crisp crust and soft, fudgy middle. I will be hard pressed to find an equivalent anywhere else. If we lived here, I'd be a regular!! read more

This place is just great. The service here is just stellar. The lady at the front counter was very polite, let us take our time to study the menu, and in the short interaction made us feel like a local or someone she was familiar with. They have great morning and lunch options. I got the buffalo chicken sub and to my splendid surprise they added a home made cookie in my basket. This was a great experience and the art/crafts were great to browse through. If I had to give any constructive feed back it's that the building is a little like a strip mall when the experience is grandmas cottage. read more

What a welcome find - we went to Sweet Cravings for lunch both days we spent in Moab exploring the national parks. They make about 100 different sandwiches and salads, all highly customization and available to go for your park adventures. We got the mushroom panini, the veggie wrap, a variety of shortbreads and side chips as a packed lunch for our park days. Everything was delicious and generous, and we were glad to have planned ahead by bringing the food into the park. Each lunch comes with a side and a small desert sample - a generous perk. The place was very popular so parking can be competitive. Atmosphere was "homey cafe" and the place was never too full - seems like to go is quite popular. The biggest stand out was the service - each person who helped us was extremely kind and eagerly helped modify the menu to our exact preferences. They even offered tips for the best hikes in the area. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch during your Moab adventures. read more

Sweet Cravings is huge inside, and has a menu nearly as big as the restaurant. Stopped in twice during my trip, and was never disappointed. They have really good breakfast burritos, selection of fruit and chips, as well as sodas, coffee, and nearly anything else you could need. Parking was great for our big van, they had some really nice large spots available at all times of the day. I can personally attest that the chorizo/potato/egg burrito is delicious, as well as the sausage/bacon/egg. Holy crap this place is yummy!! I got the salmon blt panini on wheat bread, and Loved it!! Daughter got the Adventurer, husband got the mushroom panini add chicken, and we all loved them!! The peanut butter bar was one of the yummiest treats I've ever had! Zucchini bread was so delicious! The banana bread was a little dry, and the monkey bread was a tab dry too, but still good. The little chocolate chip cookie you get with your meal is scrumptious! Highly recommend this cafe!! read more

The man at the front was about the friendliest person I've ever come across. There is nothing more inviting than a person waiting to greet you with a smile. I ordered the French toast and it was amazing. Crispy, not too heavily battered, and a perfect portion so I didn't feel like I needed to be wheeled out of there in a wheelchair. This review is for take-out wraps for lunch within Arches National Park. We picked up some bagged lunches in the morning for our day in the park and they wraps were good, but nothing special. We all asked for our dressings to be put on the side and they forgot to do so for all three orders. Fortunately the wraps weren't too soggy but it still would have been nice to have had the dressing on the side as we ordered separately and they forgot three times. This place is awesome! We went twice. Decor inside leaves a little to be desired but holy cow are the desserts tasty! We had sandwiches the first day along with bacon potato salad which I found to be delicious. I also tried the lemon spritzer which was nice and refreshing for the moab heat! Tried the s'mores cookie and the cowboy cookie which were delightful! We also had a raspberry white chocolate Scone which was a little on the bland side. Very good! We did some sampling. We had the breakfast quesadilla........ My husband and son loved it but I thought it was just ok. They could be cooked a little longer to crisp up the tortilla. Otherwise it was good. I had the Moab Cristo which was amazing. Great flavor, loved the jam on top! I recommend this. We also sampled the coconut bread.... This is a must. It's like pound cake...... So good! We also tried the peanut butter bar which is also worth getting. It's cold and has great flavor, some caramel and chocolate in it. Really great. And my boys loved the tres leches. Need to stop by and get some treats and lunch! =] read more

Found Sweet Cravings to be a delightful place for breakfast and lunch. Scones, bagel egg and cheese, and lattes were exceptionally good every morning. The build-your-own sandwiches were so good, I purchased one every morning and took it with me while sightseeing. Bought several scones to have at each sunrise photoshoot. NOTE: the bakery is located at 397 N. Main Street, Moab, UT 84532, not 550 N Main St. Even though the new storefront is beautiful, we were totally underwhelmed by breakfast here. Ordered a breakfast sandwich -- bagel with eggs, cheese, and bacon -- and it came out in about a minute and a half. Clearly it had been pre-made and then reheated in the microwave, since the scrambled eggs (which tasted like they came from a powder) were dry and had that molten microwave heat. We also ordered two scones, a strawberry and a blueberry one, which tasted stale. We were assured that they were freshly made that morning and told "that's just how we make them," meaning they're intended to be dry. They also said they use dried and not fresh fruit in the scones, which makes the bits of fruit overly chewy and not very appetizing. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but I don't think we'll be returning here. read more

A bakery? Not a chance! Nothing was displayed or smelled like a bakery. No sticky buns, no muffins. Breakfast menu had to be read several time to understand just what each strange named item really represented. No salt and pepper on the table. I'm not sure how this restaurant got such a good rating? In fairness we were late to breakfast, about 10:30 so maybe all of the good things were gone? In any case we won't go back and take a chance. $23.00 + plus tip for two people is a pretty stiff price considering that the meal was small portions and the hash browns were shaken frozen out of a bag. Disappointing. Part of our breakfast order was omitted (ie burrito was missing extra ingredients), not to mention the coffees that never arrived. Upon mentioning this to the staff, no apology was offered. Coffees arrived late and as for the extra ingredients we paid for, reluctantly we were given a cookie for the road. The burrito was bland and the French toast...just don't order it. Don't recommend this place, Love Muffin and Eclectic Cafe are far better for breakfast. read more

I didn't eat a meal here but I did have one of their lemon bars. It was amazing!

I had biscuits and gravy and coffee at 9am. The biscuits were hard on the outside, the outside was cold, and the inside was hot. I think I was served cold biscuits from earlier in the day that were nuked in the microwave. The gravy was under-seasoned and sweet (sugar?). No re-fill on coffee. We needed somewhere to get a quick breakfast before hitting up Arches national park and I didn't want fast food or horrible motel six food. We drove around Moab a bit and chose this place. It was GREAT the menu had a ton of choices and I went for a sausage egg and cheese with Brie, red onion and avocado on sourdough bread. It was absolutely delicious. We loved it so much we went back for lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese with potato chips cooked into it. It was delicious but really thin for ten dollars Overall, I really recommend this place if you are in Moab. read more

We did build your own on two days. The sandwiches were packed very well and came with a bag of chips and a cookie for dessert. Ingredients are sourced locally. Our hike lunch was delicious. A well appointed, pleasantly understated eatery! The scones are flavorful, yet not too sweet. I tried the "Back to Bed" and really enjoyed the owner's rendition of his father's recipe that includes hash browns, eggs and cheese smothered in sausage gravy. The hint of cayenne pepper in the gravy is just the right touch. Clearly the owners enjoy cooking and people. The best combination for a restaurant to be an enjoyable experience.
